I really needed a repair done fast; and even though Mark was busy, he made the time to fix my equipment quickly.

Frustrating beyond belief. I called Universal Repair because they had very good feedback ratings. Lo and behold, the positive feedback was just what I experienced. I was given a next day appointment by Valerie, with a two hour window. Dmytro showed up right on time! He didn't mess about. He went straight to work diagnosing my problem. Then he did his magic and suddenly my refrigerator was working like new. Dmytro showed me the condenser and it was disgustingly dirty. He cleaned that up to like new. Not only did Dmytro repair my water problem,he left my refrigerator in better shape than it had been in years. Dmytro gave me a price which sounded justified. And accepted my check in payment. I absolutely have to say, Thank You Dmytro!!! And thank you Universal Repair! If and when I have more appliance problems I will definitely call Universal Repair! Honesty and Integrity!

He said that he s driving for over two hours and I told him we were ~50 miles away I told him I could afford his diagnostic fee through the shell messager and that I did not expect him to not request this but that I do not carry that much cash and I offered him as much cash as I had to begin the job but they the rest he requested ($300+) would have to come from my care providers office and that I might not chose to negotiate any more with out them my handy capable condition has insisted that I might not be in full mental faculties to handle heated negotiations over money but that it is healthy to have interactions with business to get better I assured him that I worked give him 2 bags to take my machine but that I would like to have a buisness card or documentation that I had left him the machine with a little bit of an idea on the amont for his hours of labor. He told me how he was busy and that I could always just buy a new one out of a catalog it sounded like we were going to decide not to Continue working together despite my assurance several times to pay his diagnostic fee and any associated labor 115 for known problems and $125 for unknown I would have liked to have spoken on the phone before he had the need to make that trip saving us both time and anguish I will continue to look for other businesses to work with on this problem

The company was very honest and trustworthy in the quoting process, punctual, and detailed. They were polite and professional. I will use them again in the future if any of my other appliances break -i.e. dishwasher, stove/ range, hood, oven, refrigerator, freezer, and washing machines. I have used other service repair companies. Fix Master Appliance is the only repair company I would call again.

I called this company to look at a refrigerator leak at my rental property. I told them explicitly:…read moreonce you understand the problem, call me before you do anything. They never called. Instead, the tech went to Home Depot on his own, bought a cap, put it on the end of a tube as a temporary "fix," and charged me $200 for it. I was never consulted or given N estimate. When I pushed back, they claimed it was "urgent," but it wasn't -- it was a slow trickle leak that had been going on for days and was being managed just fine in the meantime. I refused to pay for a fix and came back out and removed the cap. My tenant then did the exact same fix himself for a couple bucks in a couple of minutes. Then they quoted me $450 to actually fix the problem. I bought the part myself, and my tenant -- with zero appliance repair experience -- looked up a how-to video and installed it in under 20 minutes. On top of all that, I was charged $85 for a "diagnostic" before they gave me the diagnostic. I had to ask for them to tell me the part that was bad.
