This shop is a tad cluttered and overwhelming but if you have the time and patience to weave through the tight spaces, you will absolutely find something fun and fabulous. There seemed to be sections of body/beauty, hats and clothing, a flag and decor area, an area with canned/bottled goodies and dip mixes, nostalgic candy, a counter with fudges, hand pies, ice cream, and candied nuts, a section with books and toys and many (MANY!) gift ideas and Smoky Mountain souvenirs. We also loved that the local Dancing Bean Coffee sells beans in bulk here. We have been using the Turtle flavor daily the last few days and love how smooth and subtle the flavor is, not overpoweringly sweet like many flavored coffees. The service was amazing-patient, prompt, and friendly. The candied pecans are the best I've ever had. They have been wonderful on salads and on a charcuterie board since I brought them home. The pricing wasn't extremely high either! For the fudge, ice cream, book, coffee, candy, popcorn seasoning, and nuts we purchased, I think we spend around $30. Not too shabby!

Disappointed, I called them. Later when I was meeting my friend somewhere I received a text from the owner explaining the situation and that she was open now and hoped I would stop in. Talk about great customer service so, of course, we went back together. Shop is full of local craftsman items which was right up our alley. I bought a beautiful and very unique pottery mug and my friend purchased a homemade card. Reasonable prices and we both love our purchases. There were many types of items... too many to list so just trust me and check this store out. I paid with a credit card and noticed much later that there is a charge for a non cash purchase.. not much (probably a percentage of your purchase) but had I known I would have paid cash... kudos to the business for promoting cash transactions in essence (of course, it saves them money I am sure). We need to continue using cash in this country, though, in my opinion. AND break open my wallet!!! They had some fantastic pottery- and I snagged a bowl (I wanted 4) and a large soup mug. I also wanted a platter too... lol. They also had stunning wooden serving boards, plenty of t-shirts, hats, magnets, patches, books and even an early Christmas display. John grabbed a map, we all checked out the museum/information room too! We headed next door to the museum and then onto the Cherokee National Forest, Ball River Falls and Baby Falls! As soon as you depart the vehicle they have Sasquatch feet on the parking lot which is cool. We walk into the store and were nicely greeted. The store is small, interesting items in the store. However what was available was limited and in a small size for shirt ware. The other items were not interesting enough to maybe purchase except the coffee cup which almost had me for $20. I think this store needs to improve. Concept I like but they need more to attract people to visit and stay. Else it will be tough to stay in business.
