Super cool place. Candies from all over the world. So much to look at. Staff were very helpful and friendly!

This is childhood returned. Just can't go in here and not think about be a young child again. Things I would have only eaten then and can't find anymore. The store had every inch covered with something to buy. Although there was many people in here no one seemed to have an issue moving around. Many registers were open to check people out. The drinks were amazing both already cold and warm to take with you. Many foreign names. The walls of candy were awesome. Loved the metal signs to hang on the walls. Nice that they allow use of the restrooms which were very clean. If you were looking for something from your childhood to enjoy (even just to look at) this is the place to find it. This store is in a great centrally located position in their downtown center. For sure worth the down memory lane trip.

Discovered this Soda Pop & Candy Store in Knoxville on our way to brunch recently. Besides all the edible goodies you could ever want there's so much to look at such as stickers, signs, magnets and other doohickeys. Some of it can be pricey but then I was surprised by certain things that weren't. We will definitely be stopping here when we're in the neighborhood.

Now this is a candy store! They have everything from candy you had as a kid to international sweets and every kind of specialty cola under the sun. I loved seeing all the different Japanese treats they had and picked up some Milka chocolate bars. It is a little pricy, but when it's hard to find some of this stuff anywhere else you're happy to pay for the convenience. I bought 2 chocolate bars, a bag of Kit Kats, 1 drink, and some mochi candy and it was about $38.

Cute place. Perfect for the tourists wandering around market square. Mast General now has some competition in the old time candy/saltwater taffy department. This is the only place I've seen with such a wide selection of sodas. Really cool to just walk around. Prices are high but that's to be expected. Found everything from mustard flavored soda to Hi-Chews to boba tea in a can. Decor also for sale - I remember as a kid decorating my space with tin signs. Lots of old timey ones that would be great for collectors. Fun place to stop by and check out!

Don't get the mystery bag. It had no chocolate. Very upset. Spent 40 dollars. Upset but whatever.

It's kind of hidden and we were curious to try it. We walked in and were greeted with a massive display of chocolates of every kind. Next to the chocolate display, there were cookies and other pastries. The shop was refreshingly cool and very pleasant with wood furniture along with an old school wood bench. The place is small but if you had time, you could definitely enjoy your snack inside. The two women working there were very pleasant and friendly. We ordered a chai latte hot for me, a cold chai latte for my son and my wife ordered a caramel macchiato. To be clear, we were there for my wife. She loves coffee but it is a rare thing when she finds coffee that she likes. More often than not, we go to a promising coffee shop and it falls short. When my wife's face lit up with a smile after her first sip of her caramel macchiato, I was thrilled! There are few things prettier than my wife smiling from joy or, in this case having a great cup of coffee. Since we were in a chocolate shop, I had to order at least a piece of chocolate. The flavors were all different and quirky but it was the apple caramel that caught my fancy. It didn't disappoint!! So, if you're in the mood for coffee, chai or anything else in the way of a beverage and also love chocolate, this is the place for you!! Thanks, Coffee and Chocolate!!!

Rancid brew in a chipped-up cup, Tiramisu that I could not sup, One bad bite and I nearly hiccup, I left that shop and never went up

More importantly, it's totally worth it. We got a box of goodies and they were all fantastic. You can taste the quality of the products they use. You can taste the butter. It's just lovely. My husband also really liked his latte. We sat inside and ate some of our goodies. We took the rest home for my mum for Mother's Day. My family loved them, too. Nice space. We also bought some whole wheat flour as a gift while there. Will absolutely go back when I'm in the area.

If I'd had more time, I would have loved hanging out here for a while. I only managed to get here about 45 minutes to close, so their selection was understandably if somewhat disappointingly quite picked over. I wound up with a cranberry oat scone and a blueberry and raspberry hand tart. The employee was very pleasant and warm. I appreciated her eagerness to help and positive attitude despite my late arrival. The baked goods sadly didn't really live up to my expectations. The cranberry oat scone was the much better of the two; it was pleasantly sweet and had the proper scone texture and only a little dry. Unfortunately, the hand tart had several edges that I discovered later had been burnt. This impacted the flavor of the whole item and sadly diminished it greatly. The fruit filling was tasty at least, though I didn't get much raspberry from it -- mostly blueberry. I'd be down to try again in the future, just would come earlier in the day when the selection is a bit larger and the products available are a bit more "choice," let's say. I appreciated the kind service and lovely vibes!

The shop itself is small but mighty. Super kind staff who will give you any info you request. There are candles, plates, cards, and a few local gifts for sale, alongside all of the tasty treats. There are cookies, brownies, cupcakes, single cake and cheesecake slices and full size cheesecakes for sale. My favorites are the oatmeal sammie and the PB cheesecake. I normally avoid sugar cookies but their version with the sanding sugar is too notch! We definitely prefer the storefront, as the items are super fresh and I love that they carry the single servings. Whenever we are downtown for work, this is our stop. When you get something from the Kroger Magpie's selection, it will either be a full size cheesecake or a sampler box of cookies or bars/brownies. It is hit or miss as to how fresh the items are here. This location now refrigerates the sammies, too, which seems to dry them out quickly. Bummer. From either location, we definitely prefer the cheesecakes, pies, and cookies to the actual cake. Either way, support this local gem!
