It's been a few years since I had food from here. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. I ordered an extra large pizza and it was wonderful. The pizza was not ready when I arrived for pick up so I looked over their menu. I got a piece of cassata cake to go too. They only had a lemon blueberry one and I don't like blueberries. The cake was divine. It's worth going back just for desserts. The pizza was so good warmed up the next day too.

On my mission to find the best pizza in Parma, I was recommended to get Rocky's Pizza. I was excited to try it since the recommendations I got set my expectations really high. I order a large pepperoni pizza and a large Buffalo chicken pizza. As I called to put in my order I asked for delivery and was told that was not an option at the moment but take out or dine in was available. As I got to the parking lot I was impressed to see the restaurant at Covid capacity, which set my expectations even higher. As I opened the pizza box to grab a slice of Buffalo chicken my expectations plummeted. The Buffalo chicken was lacking one of the most important ingredients... Buffalo sauce. Every slice was equivalent to eating dry bread with breaded chicken on top. The pepperoni pizza was slightly above average, but due to the busy night I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt. I will have to give them another try.

Rockys has been around here as long as I can remember. Nice safe location with ample parking, it's located on Broadview Road in Parma and has outlasted all of the other Italian restaurants in this part of the city. 30 years plus is a long time in the same location and this place just oozes nostalgia. That's what I wanted on a recent trip to Cleveland. If you want that neighborhood pizza place feel this should be your destination. The owner Larry was on hand to explain in detail how he designed the menu to pay homage to some of the original recipes from 30 years ago, but to also add some amazing seafood offerings. Funny and entertaining, I felt like I was visiting with an old friend while talking about the old neighborhood with him. He really cares about the quality of his food and it showed. I wanted something easy and light so I had the Penne Anita which was more of a soup dish than a pasta and sauce dish. Really fresh and delicious ingredients. Just what the doctor ordered on a cold November Northern Ohio day. Of course I had to order the pizza and it's perfection. It's all about the dough! Gorgeous, plump and crispy. Make sure you check out the wine offerings too. So happy I stopped by on my trip, it really made it a memorable experience. Its refreshing to know that a traditional family feel Italian restaurant is still plugging along in this world of industrial, cookie cutter eateries.

After years of reading about this local favorite, I decided one Friday evening to take a drive to the other side of town and give it a whirl. I called in my order - a small plain with mushrooms (fresh) - which totaled around $9.00. This place has a dine-in area and is located at the end of a small strip mall on Broadview Rd. The inside resembles a quintessential pizza parlor, with a dimly lit atmosphere and moderate seating. My pie was ready upon arriving and the gentleman behind the counter was polite and friendly. Some people say that it's better late than never, which is certainly the case as this pizza delivers on taste and quality! The crust had a nice crisp and was well-baked without any air bubbles. Additionally, the pie was not greasy or overloaded with cheese, but had a rather even layer with moderate sauce below. I exercised restraint and only ate half, while saving the remainder for the following day, although my heart wanted to finish it right there! Overall, this excellent family owned local gem is one that should not be overlooked! The pizza is phenomenal, amd if you fancy spaghetti or other dishes - well, they have that too!

Great food! Stopped here on our way home from Cleveland Clinic. Looked online for Italian food near me. This place definitely know how to make homemade italian! Had spaghetti, garlic spinach ravioli, and Grandpa Larry's Pizza. Sooooo delicious!

Out of sight! This place is the real deal!! Fresh ingredients, generous portions and friendly service make this a hidden gem!! Try the pizza, it's homemade and the ingredients and sauce are clearly not pre packaged. Don't miss this phenomenal spot!!

    White pizza add tomato.

First issue they said no deliveries today. Which isn't a huge deal but still an inconvenience. So we chose to try this place after looking at other local pizza places and decided to come here do to other reviews saying this place was good. We got a small white pizza add tomato. It is tiny and it was like 14$ so not to happy with price. Secondly it is so hard and there is no flavor to the pizza. The second pizza was a large pizza with pep, banana pep, and green pep. Once again the pizza is hard and very little sauce if any. I feel like I am eating a piece of cardboard with some cheese on it. We each at a piece and decided to make a different meal. Don't think we will be coming back again.

I rarely give any place 5-stars but Rocky's is so good it deserves it! The atmosphere is authentic Italian and very cozy! The wait staff is nice and the food is delicious. I dined with my niece and we got the Saturday special: an X-Large 2-topping pizza for $11.95. We were surprised when it came out. It was big and had thick crust. The pizza was cheesy and tasted like no other pizza I've ever had! I'd recommend getting meatballs on your pizza - Outstanding! You could taste every ingredient in the pizza! The prices are reasonable. Such a great hole-in-the-wall joint. I would recommend to anyone visiting the Cleveland area!

Coming into the store there was a cute counter by the window if you did decide to sit inside and eat. We came all the way from Kent for the pizza and wanted to try a slice before we left for home so my boyfriend ate a slice in the parking lot really quick. An employee (possibly the owner) came out with napkins and offered us to sit inside. We declined as we had to leave but the man graciously went inside and brought us out cold water bottles for our drive home! It was such a thoughtful gesture. Now onto the pizza. It was delicious! We ordered a regular pepperoni pizza and the white Neapolitan style pizza. It wouldn't let me add pineapple to my pizza online, which was fine because it didn't need it, the pizza was so good! My boyfriend loved his pepperoni pizza and I also enjoyed my Neapolitan style white pizza. It had a great garlicky flavor and was crispy on the crust. Will definitely be back to try the margarita pizza next! So if you're looking for a great pizza with hospitality I recommend coming to Joe De's!

When I saw the ratings, I decided to give it a try while I was in Cleveland. On the day I went, one of my closest friends who is from Cleveland happened to be in the area at the same time I was, so we decided to try Il Rione together before having Mitchell's Homemade Ice Cream afterward. Parking was a bit tricky, as we were unable to park right in front of the restaurant, but fortunately we found a spot reasonably close, so we did not have to walk too far. When we first walked in, the first thing I noticed was the atmosphere. Not only did the restaurant smell amazing from the baking pizzas, but it was also tastefully decorated for Christmastime and cozy. We were seated immediately, and our server was attentive and helpful, making us feel welcome and even offering suggestions on their best-selling pizzas. I ended up ordering the sausage pizza, and while the pizza as a whole was outstanding, the sauce was the best I have ever had. Whatever their sauce recipe is, it was unbelievable, and it will be difficult to top that particular sauce. My friend enjoyed his pizza as well, saying it was one of the best pizzas he had ever tasted. Il Rione is one of the best pizzas I have ever had. I will be more than happy to return the next time I am in the Cleveland area.

Since they don't take reservations, mentally prepare yourself for the wait. I came here with three friends on a Friday around 6:00/6:30 and waited around 50 minutes. It was nice outside so we just hung around outside of the restaurant. When we were seated the service was fast. We opted for the arugula salad and rione salad for the table and the salads were honestly delicious. For pizza, we ordered the larger size sausage pie (red sauce, mozzarella, roasted peppers, sautéed onions, garlic and parmesan). Thin crust with a good bite that holds its integrity pretty decently. Overall, this os probably one of the better pizzas in Cleveland.

That's how I came across Edison's Pizza, which had some great reviews. We ordered a large sausage and pepperoni, and the pickup time was about an hour. After a little trial and error, we finally figured out the pizza shop is actually inside a grocery store. Strange setup, but we eventually found it--and honestly, it was worth both the wait and the free scavenger hunt. The pizza itself was excellent. Great ratio of ingredients, not thin crust and not deep dish--soft in the center with a crispy, crunchy edge. It does come in on the higher side at nearly $30 for a large, but considering the quality and flavor, the value is still there.
