I got a carryout Tuesday special. I ordered a large pizza with extra sauce and banana peppers. I loved the price, $10 cash for 3 meals is an excellent deal to me. It was nicely baked and I appreciate the fresh dough. I would only give the review honestly a 3.5 star review (had to round up to 4) because my extra sauce request was a large miss. I hardly had any sauce, so I would be afraid to see the "normal" portion. read more

My wife and I have dinner at Rocky's about once a month and it is always fantastic. Rocky's always has great specials along with the every day menu which also is great. Upscale Italian restaurants charge much more than Rocky's and do not provide any better food or service. And Rocky's also has some of the best pizza that you will ever have. It's been a few years since I had food from here. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. I ordered an extra large pizza and it was wonderful. The pizza was not ready when I arrived for pick up so I looked over their menu. I got a piece of cassata cake to go too. They only had a lemon blueberry one and I don't like blueberries. On my mission to find the best pizza in Parma, I was recommended to get Rocky's Pizza. I was excited to try it since the recommendations I got set my expectations really high. I order a large pepperoni pizza and a large Buffalo chicken pizza. As I called to put in my order I asked for delivery and was told that was not an option at the moment but take out or dine in was available. As I got to the parking lot I was impressed to see the restaurant at Covid capacity, which set my expectations even higher. As I opened the pizza box to grab a slice of Buffalo chicken my expectations plummeted. The Buffalo chicken was lacking one of the most important ingredients... Buffalo sauce. Every slice was equivalent to eating dry bread with breaded chicken on top. The pepperoni pizza was slightly above average, but due to the busy night I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt. Rockys has been around here as long as I can remember. Nice safe location with ample parking, it's located on Broadview Road in Parma and has outlasted all of the other Italian restaurants in this part of the city. 30 years plus is a long time in the same location and this place just oozes nostalgia. That's what I wanted on a recent trip to Cleveland. If you want that neighborhood pizza place feel this should be your destination. The owner Larry was on hand to explain in detail how he designed the menu to pay homage to some of the original recipes from 30 years ago, but to also add some amazing seafood offerings. Funny and entertaining, I felt like I was visiting with an old friend while talking about the old neighborhood with him. He really cares about the quality of his food and it showed. I wanted something easy and light so I had the Penne Anita which was more of a soup dish than a pasta and sauce dish. Really fresh and delicious ingredients. Just what the doctor ordered on a cold November Northern Ohio day. Of course I had to order the pizza and it's perfection. It's all about the dough! Gorgeous, plump and crispy. Make sure you check out the wine offerings too. So happy I stopped by on my trip, it really made it a memorable experience. I called in my order - a small plain with mushrooms (fresh) - which totaled around $9.00. This place has a dine-in area and is located at the end of a small strip mall on Broadview Rd. The inside resembles a quintessential pizza parlor, with a dimly lit atmosphere and moderate seating. My pie was ready upon arriving and the gentleman behind the counter was polite and friendly. Some people say that it's better late than never, which is certainly the case as this pizza delivers on taste and quality! The crust had a nice crisp and was well-baked without any air bubbles. Additionally, the pie was not greasy or overloaded with cheese, but had a rather even layer with moderate sauce below. I exercised restraint and only ate half, while saving the remainder for the following day, although my heart wanted to finish it right there! After years of wanting to try Rocky's, it finally happened. Did not disappoint. Ordered something not on the menu and they were happy to oblige. Mind you it was baked meatballs, salad, and garlic bread which has always been one of my favorites, but it was great nonetheless. My friend had the shrimp and angel hair pasta special and was a member of the clean plate club. Loved it. Very unassuming quaint little old world Italian restaurant with a long history in the community. Would recommend you check it out. read more

First issue they said no deliveries today. Which isn't a huge deal but still an inconvenience. So we chose to try this place after looking at other local pizza places and decided to come here do to other reviews saying this place was good. We got a small white pizza add tomato. It is tiny and it was like 14$ so not to happy with price. Secondly it is so hard and there is no flavor to the pizza. The second pizza was a large pizza with pep,banana pep, and green pep. Once again the pizza is hard and very little sauce if any. I feel like I am eating a piece of cardboard with some cheese on it. We each at a piece and decided to make a different meal. I dined with my niece and we got the Saturday special: an X-Large 2-topping pizza for $11.95. We were surprised when it came out. It was big and had thick crust. The pizza was cheesy and tasted like no other pizza I've ever had! I'd recommend getting meatballs on your pizza - Outstanding! You could taste every ingredient in the pizza! I tried Rocky's last night on recommendation from my neighbor. We were standing around the front yard, talking about life, car odors, birds as neighbor John drank a 40. If you ever want to join the conversation, drive down W 10th St on a sunny day and chances are, some of us will be out there doing things like this. I kept getting flustered because a swallow kept swooping down and trying to pick at my skull. My neighbor thought it was the funniest thing ever. Running from this bird combined with partying built up a deep hunger. He advised that I try Rocky's in Parma. I did and once again, my weekend pizza advisor John was right! He is more than a neighbor, he is a father figure. The pizza was thick and filling. They use a decent pizza oven and it develops a nice crispy crust. This is the kind of place that you can envision a little ol' Italian Ma in the back room making fresh sauce. However, it's actually a great guy named Larry that has a true passion for creating gorgeously delicious Italian food. We've stopped in a few times and have gluttonously sampled a lot of the menu, and all of our experiences were hella' stella'. Upon entering Rocky's, the aroma of slow-cooked sauce and freshly baked bread taunt your senses. The smells are such a tease, yet the perfect introduction of what is to come. Once you've found your seat in this quaint joint, I highly advise you to put in an order for the homemade breadsticks. They are baked-to-order, and come out of the oven piping hot alongside a bowl of the best marinara I've ever tasted. We tend to pair that baked goodness with a small house salad. All of the salad dressings are made from scratch and are remarkably flavorful. I'm a total ranch queen, and their's is boss! For the main coarse, we've dabbled in the pizzas, pastas, and subs. All of them were on point, but I'll be really honest the Uncle Larry's Pizza has stolen a slice of my heart. This pizza is what ALL pizzas should try to be like. Add some of the Old World Pepperoni to it, and it's a total foodgasm. The crunchy crust and savory sauce pair beautifully with the zesty toppings. A better pie has never been made. Did I mention it's smothered in real cheese? Mmmmmmm. The pasta specials have all been on fleek. This place knows how to serve up some seriously sexy pasta. Whatever the special is, if it lists sausage in it, get it. OMG the sausage at this place is what dreams are made of. I could go on for days, but trust my gut and treat yo'self to some pasta. It's worth the carbs. Now I should mention that this is a mom and pop shop, so you might end up sneaking your own soda refill, but honestly that is what really makes this place so charming. So far, all of our dining experiences have included Larry or his fabulous wife dropping off little extra nibbles at our table for us (and other patrons) to sample, and each little bite has led us to fantasize about whatever could be coming up next. Rocky's reminds me of eating dinner at a good friend's house. You're basically family here except you wont be asked to help with the dishes. I love this place. P.S. Order the Casatta cake. Larry and his family has always treated me well, Went as always to get pizza for family and co workers after moving today or just for the weekend. Larry's son was by far the worst I have ever had to deal with. He did not appreciate or understand my order and he made it quite relevant that he did not care no matter how much we have supported his family business n the past. I attempted to call back and he hung up on me multiple times. I hope to talk with his father in the future and hope that his attitude and disregard for the family business will not continue and will not contribute to the downfall of the family business. Rocky's is our favorite local restaurant - the food is fantastic & the " regulars" are now friends of ours! It's like going to Cheers but we come to eat Italian & drink wine instead of drinking beer.
