Old school This is a great old-school Italian restaurant reminds me of my days in Hoboken. We were coming here when we had an office downtown. It was always great. Est. 1999. It's cash only. The old ways. Today I had the lasagna. It was great meat sauce nice portion. I think it was 14 bucks really really good. The salad that comes with and the house dressing as good as it gets. I think it has walnuts on it with cheese and olives. The free bread and dipping oil is also great. We found Scotti's by accident. The exterior looked so inviting that we stopped for dinner and weren't disappointed. We ordered a calzone and lasagna with salads. Salads were all fresh (not bagged) greens with balsamic house dressing. All servings were incredibly generous and delicious. While we were there, the takeout traffic was crazy busy. Looked like a lot of pizza was being ordered. Next trip, we're trying the pizza!! read more

Great sauces for pasta and pizza. Always fresh. Cash only but moderate prices as that savings for owner is passed down to the customer. My two favorites, the calzones and the chicken parm. There might be better neighborhood Italian restaurants in Cleveland, but I have to find it. Scotti's delivers on the big three criteria of dining out. Food is excellent, I had veal parmigiana, wife had veal Marsala. Prepared perfectly, came with a nice salad that had walnuts in it (nice touch) and bread before dinner with a nice dipping oil. Service was excellent. Our waitress has been there for many years and just seems to have a knack for showing up just when we wanted to order or needed something. Ambiance is neighborhood place. Clean, neat. Not fancy but pleasant and comfortable. A couple of reviews have complained about Scotti's being cash only. I like it. All the revenue stays in-house and not a cut going to a behemoth credit card company. I guess it can be a pain if you're unfamiliar. Scotti's remains the gold standard for neighborhood Italian dining. read more

Heard great things but I had a terrible experience. First I was not greeted upon entering. I had to walk up to multiple people to ask about my order. The older woman was not welcoming and very distracted but the restaurant was extremely slow. I made a to go order so when I arrived home to eat, the food was gross. Not seasoned at all, had to add my own salt and pepper. The food also had a strange aftertaste. Later on that night I got sick and vomited all my food, ew. I'm 100% positive it was the food that made me sick because I was waiting all day to eat just so I could enjoy a good pasta. I did eat the salad and bread about 15 min before my pasta which was fresh, but that was the only thing good I have to say about this place. Stopped in for the 1st time ever. I've l8ved near this place and have driven past it hundreds of times and never noticed it was here. The ambiance is that of old Italian eatery. And we love the Nostalgia. We were seated quickly and time to survey the menu. They are Cash Only and that caught us off guard, but there are ATMs near by. Hands down my favorite Italian restaurant. We drive 1 1/2 hours just to eat here. Get the shrimp Alfredo, you won't be disappointed.

We recently received a $10 gift certificate to this restaurant. Although we have lived in Euclid for 44 years, we never noticed this restaurant. The service was perfect, the 2 pasta dishes, The Chicken Alfredo with whole wheat penne, and the penne pasta with Mushroom Pesto Sauce, were both delicious. The salads were large, and the bread was really special. The most incredible fact of all was how absolutely reasonable all the prices are. We will happily return! read more

I travel from the Westside of Cleveland to Scotti's, to meet my Eastside friend, although it's been 2 years since we've been there. I won't be going back. I had ordered eggplant parmesan, supposedly thin and crispy. It came to me cut really thick and very mushy! I had to send it back. So, then I ordered the veal parmesan, which was again not crispy, but, mushy and tasted rubbery! Terrible! I just ate the side of spaghetti, salad and bread. Sauce was nothing great. I don't know what happened because the food really went downhill since the last time I was there. I was really looking forward to it and then it ended up being very disappointing! They serve on Friday -but perhaps only during Lent - what has to be the best clam chowder I have ever tasted - and I have had a lot of clam chowder. We began to go to this restaurant based on someone telling my husband he saw them featured on a local TV show. We have sampled the pizza (delicious) + the pasta (delicious) + the fish fry dinners during Lent (again - delicious). Have never had a complaint and the prices are more than reasonable for the amount of food they feed you. We always go home with something in a take home container. It ain't the fanciest place but sometimes that is where these hidden gems are. Cash only Love a place with an adjacent Parking lot but surprised the inside held maybe 7 booths, 4 tables and bar seating. Cheap drafts $2.75 for bud light. It was a New Year's Eve night so choice of restaurants were limited. Had the mom and pop atmosphere with friendly servers to boot.lots of take out orders going on at the same time which may explain why service was a little slow. Started off with fresh focaccia bread with a an olive oil/balsamic dip which they already have made for you. Bread was warm and soft almost like muffin density and was the best focaccia I've ever had. Main entree was chicken Parmesan dinner for $12.75 comes with side salad and bread. The salad had true green leafs ( not cheap iceberg) walnuts,black olives, tomatoes and cucumber. House dressing was a balsamic vinegrette quite tasty. For the chicken Parmesan came with one piece of chicken which had a nice crispy crust and tender white meat just the way I like it. Scotty kicked me out of the restaurant because I am a vegetarian! I was in the middle of ordering a pizza from the waitress, but Scotty came up to the table and asked me if I wanted a Stromboli he had in his hands. He made the wrong order and didn't want to the waste food, so he was trying to convince me to eat it instead of my pizza! I told him I didn't like meat unless it was shaved very thin, which he assured me it was. I only tried it as a favor to Scotty since his my house for the past 10 years. I asked the waitress to send it back so I could order the pizza I wanted. Then Scotty approached the table to ask why I didn't want the stromboli. I explained the meat was cut too thick and was therefore unpalatable to me. I reminded him I had told him I could only eat shaved, like prosciutto. He got defensive and argued with me about it! Icouldn't get a word from in edgewise to try to calm him. Maybe I offended him as a chef? I had to get up and leave the restaurant when Scotty was unable to calm down and could no longer communicate effectively with me. as I was walking back to my house, Scotty came running out of the side door, marched right up to me and told me to never come back! It's a shame because we're neighbors, and his uninviting and unprofessional behavior could make it uncomfortable when we inevitably run into each other. Scotti's is a staple of the Euclid/Colinwood/VASJ community and the two words that describe it best to me are pizza and patio. Scotti's has some of the tastiest pizza and calzones around, and that is just a fact, Google it. Every Monday is half price pizza night, dine-in only, thank me lster. It also has a large outdoor patio in the back with beautiful flowers that just make the wine more delicious in the summer somehow. In addition to the patio and pizza, Scotti's has a solid wine list, a bunch of scrumptious apps, a diverse selection of salads and some of my favorite Italian classics that are also available thru carryout. My wife swears by their chicken parm, and the tri-color cheese ravioli is my number one ravioli ever. The spinach salad with warm pepperoni dressing and the zucchini fries would be my recommendations for top salad and appetizer respectively. The only knocks on Scotti's are the parking lot and being cash only. The parking lot is tight and can be difficult to navigate but I usually park across the street or near the bank and walk over with no problem. So just park at the bank after hitting the ATM and you have no worries! What else is there to say? The food is consistently awesome, the prices are fair, and the owner, Scott, and his staff run this place like a well oiled machine. The restaurant is pretty good on average. However, if you order the garlic parm wings they pour a thick garlic sauce over the top and on the plate. its not good. The wings are great but leave off that sauce. Also, it would be nice if they blew off the leaves on the outdoor patio to make it a bit more attractive. all the debris just attracts bugs who eat you alive. read more

Scotti's is a staple whenever I get back to the 216! It is a fantastic, family run establishment. I have been a customer since probably the beginning, with my parents. Every time the service and food has been top notch quality! The bread and oil to start is super fresh and the spices mixed in with the oil are very tasty. There's a smidge of balsamic added, which gives it a very nice flavor. For my meal, I had the rigatoni and my Dad had the chicken parm. I'm obsessed with their pasta, it's always cooked correctly (IMO). Dad loved his chicken parm and the breading was the perfect amount, without being too overbearing. You absolutely have to try the tri-color ravioli, as it is my other favorite! Scottis is doing it right and I'll choose to come back every time! read more

amazing, authentic Italian fare in my neighborhood. my only issue is they need to have a wait staff. I know that they have the servers seating people - just get a hostess :) make your lives easier. a lot of times, I'll arrive and won't be told "hello" for a long while, and there are seats open and available. get a flipping hostess, and more waitresses and your issues will be solved. but, other than that, amazing amazing food. read more
