Hands down the best rat exterminators ever. I had major rat infestation, they were in my walls! You could hear them running at night and scratching the walls. If you looked outside you could spot 10 of them easy. It was definitely out of control! First the exterior had to be sealed, then the interior had to have traps placed. this is a 5 to 6 weeks project total , since they just started. I called them up for a Rat problem as I saw droppings in my crawl space. Their inspector came for a free inspection/estimate and looked in the attic as well as the crawl space. He was very friendly and actually told us that the attic was okay and we did not have to replace the insulation. When we received the estimate it included over $5,000 in fees for removal of all the insulation, clean up and replacement of the insulation. I emailed back and told them their own inspector stated the attic was fine and requested a new estimate without insulation removal. They did not respond. "Caveat Emptor". It seems they are looking to needlessly charge you thousands of dollars for unnecessary work. --After posting this review they did call me and offer to adjust the estimate but I had already hired another company. read more

Rodent Masters came out to give me an estimate and did a half-assed job. They checked my attics but didn't go throughout the crawlspace under the house even though that was a problematic area I pointed out. How could you possibly give me an estimate without checking out half of where the problem is? A few hours later, they sent me an estimate for $4,650 (after a discount off the $5,500 full price) that included work I didn't even ask for, like replacing all of my ducting. None of the concern seemed to be about getting to the root of the problem -- eliminating the rats and their access to the home -- but rather about how they could make money on the sale. I also did not care for what I felt were scare tactics, telling me how I wouldn't want anything getting in the ducts because of how dangerous it would be to breathe. After feeling dissatisfied with Rodent Masters' estimate, I got an estimate from All Star Animal Trapping as well. All Star was incredibly thorough going through my entire home for every possible entry point for the rats and took about an hour, compared to like 15 minutes for Rodent Masters. I ended up going with All Star instead and felt good about the price I paid and the service provided. At no point did I feel pressured into doing any work, and I feel like they were getting to the root of the problem much more. I never actually got any work done by Rodent Masters -- maybe they would have done well -- but their incomplete inspection for the estimate inspired no confidence, and their eagerness to give me a hefty quote made me feel like their biggest focus was getting money for the job rather than eradicating the problem. read more

These guys are amazing. They rodent proofed my home and continually came back to resolve a very difficult rodent problem. A rodent was finding its way in and they continually came back to try and fix the problem. We finally realized they were entering through the sewer. Once that was fixed my place has been rodent free. I called and asked for someone to remove a dead animal in the attic. Was quoted $185 to remove it, fee waived if I decide to use their pest control service after inspection. Said someone would be out this morning. Guy shows up, checks all around, says it's in the attic, then says he is only here to do an inspection, and won't remove anything. WTF? read more

I had spent a couple of thousand dollars and countless hours for over 8 years trying to solve my rodent problem. No matter how many exterminators came out, no matter how many traps I set, no matter how many holes I plugged around the house, the mice and rats would eventually come back. I finally found Rodent Masters and gave them a call after seeing they did things differently than the rest. I watched them come in and do an INCREDIBLY THOROUGH job. I couldn't believe how many possible entry points they found to patch. In the 3 months since they came, we have had no issues. But even if we do have something in the future, the 5 year guarantee gives us some peace of mind. Pros: Thorough job. Very easy to work with. Professional workers and staff. Quick response times Cons: Definitely pricey compared to other companies. Some minor damage to some plants, walls, and a light fixture while they were working (nothing I couldn't fix by myself rather quickly) I wouldn't suggest using Rodent Masters initially due to the high cost, but if you have a rodent problem that is giving you fits that others can't solve, I would highly suggest this company. They were super thorough, and we felt that their price for the scope of the job was fair. An update: Still a 5 star recommendation! Here we are, 4 years since our previous 5-star experience with Max and the team. We have had zero issues with rats in the house, thanks to their fine work. We noticed what appeared to be a small tunnel at the side of our deck, outdoors. We set traps and caught some rats. I called Rodent Masters to have them come out and check on things. Max and his team were great - he showed up when he said he would, called me first to say he was on the way. He checked the entire house, inside the attic and crawl spaces under the house, and gave us an all-clear. No rodents in the house. Well where do I begin. First off I typically don't use a company unless I get a pretty quick call back, but decided to give Rodent Masters a chance anyway. The inspector that came out was great very thorough and shared all the information with me as he went along and did not make a mess. I got my bid via email and was shocked at not only the price but the description of what the job entailed. My guess this is a blanket form they use for all their customers along with the very high prices. They quoted me on things that did not need done and mentioned pulling out my dishwasher. I don't have a dishwasher!!! Commented on my old insulation that was installed a year ago not to mention there was no infestation in my attic. If I were you I would stay away from this company!! I am happy to say I have another company at my house who not only did a free inspection and have already started the work for 60% less. read more

I tried to get rid of my Rodent problem with one company a few years ago and they werent able to remove my problem, so I started looking for a new compnay to get rid off the issue. I recieved a few quotes and I chose Rodent Master not just because of their price but because when Charlie inspected my house, I felt like he did a thorough job going through my home. A team came in and closed off all the entry points, BUT we still heard them in the ceiling and bathroom walls. I contacted the office via email and they were quick to respond and Charlie came by and inspected our attic and bathroom area. The problem wasn't resolved on the 1st or 2nd visit but having someone like Charlie to come by and figure out the issue was comforting. Very friendly and I know he really wants to make sure the issue is resolved. We finally found some entry points that were missed and he was quick to cover them up. Fingers crossed we got them all. The technician arrived and told us we had a horrible infestation but they couldn't inspect further due to asbestos. I asked for them to please send me all relevant info so we could present to landlord and take steps to protect our family. They basically just ghosted me. I called today to ask if I could receive a copy of report. They again refused. This is not my first rodent rodeo. We will definitely use someone else, and I recommend that you do the same. Side note: the technician did tell me numerous times about all the CANCER my family could get from the asbestos in attic, but there is no willingness from this company to help with rodents. read more

I used Rodent Masters in March 2018 to get rid of rats in the attic over the 2nd story and sub-attic over the garage. Brothers Max and Jay run the business and were very easy to work with. Max came to scope out the job. Their price was slightly less than their main competition but the service was first-rate. Their team worked fast to set traps, seal openings in the roof eves, and remove contaminated insulation, then returned to remove the traps. OMG. These guys are awesome!!!! We had a really strange smell coming into our master bathroom. We called Rodent Masters based on Yelp reviews and it's very obvious why they have 5 stars. We scheduled a free estimate for two days from the day I called. As promised, I received a 30 minutes ETA phone call from Max and he arrived promptly. He looked around and under our home thoroughly and quickly understood the issue. He gave me a clear idea of what's going on and our options. Now for the more than extraordinary part...he pretty much sold me on not paying him to do the work. He said I can totally do it myself and showed me what to do. He did some preventative measures to help alleviate the horrible smell we have (which he explained is unfortunately a dead rat in our insulation or under the flooring...gross!) and placed a trap down and showed me how to place some more. He also showed me how to seal everything up so they can't get back under our home. And you wouldn't believe this but I literally tried shoving money in his pocket and he wouldn't accept it. What: A month after moving into my new home, my family and I found a dead rat in our pool - at first, I was grossed out, and then I soon became angry. I kept thinking, "This is my house, not theirs!" Also, I would later learn that my air ducts were extremely old, covered in some parts by blow-in insulation, and dirty with years of caked up dust and funk.
