Fish guide
Kara M.

Definitely had what we needed! I took a picture of their fish guide to eating in the area and super helpful! It gets pretty busy here on the weekends when everyone has time to go fishing. We got herring and sardines here and a few pyramid weights! Fish looked pretty fresh and they were nice and they had cute doggos that we friendly! They ran out of the ball weights we wanted but they had everything else! They were pretty busy so they ran out of stuff pretty fast.

It was my first time buying a gun and I told him that and the way he was talking to me it made it seem like he was trying to make me feel stupid. He needs to learn how to talk to people. But I bought the gun anyway because they were the only ones in my area who had it. Now the pick up process was great. I was helped by I believe his name was PK. Asian dude with glasses and a black hat. He was extremely nice and showed me all the safety tips and how to properly handle the gun. Im most likely never gonna shop here again because of that rude guy who first helped me. Now that I have the gun I want I will take my business for ammo and parts somewhere else. I really hope the managers read this review and tell that guy he needs to work on his people skills. The guy is a complete jerk.

Really love the store layout, not sterile, has personality to it, the variety of sports items, apparel, shoes, and was even pleasant enough with the air-conditioning and fans on. Can't give it 5 Stars, though. Would love to, but this place has more items missing price tags than Grocery Outlet! Mentioned it to a couple of the employees, one replied there are "some items" where that is true ( more than some ), and another assured me that the items I was referring to had price tags on them. Yeah, No! At least in the energy bars / nutrition / protein powders / hydration packs, etc. department. Yes, there are some stickers designating price / bar and price / box, which IS helpful, then...a row or two or three of suddenly no price tags. And look at it this way, if you're going to put in the effort to label containers with expiration dates like "5/27" ( which seems like the store did in the spirit of good customer service ), then you CAN actually make the effort to clarify to the customer what item is what price. ( Why does this seem like basic Common Sense here, and if managers are not on top of this problem, then that is on them. I spent too much time walking the aisles, trying to find pricing, asking for help to scan items, discovering more things without pricing. Fix that problem ASAP. Or install a scanner in parts of the store for customers to utilize on their own. ) Overall, check out the store. Here's another reason why: I observed (2) separate employees, one younger 20's male in the running shoe department, one latter 20's female in the ski boot department, personally attending to customers, giving their input on products, doing some old-school sales and persuasion. VERY GOOD to see that. Both had product knowledge, were hands-on, was refreshing to see. Thumbs up!

I cannot believe the experience I had with this business! I just got back from picking up my bike…read morethat I only purchased two months ago. The derailer hangar snapped and needed to be replaced. This is why I left extremely upset! I bought the bike to go on rides with my son. I bought a separate seat that is attached to the middle bar so my toddler can ride with me. Last week during my ride we came across a cross walk where I began to cross and needed to shift gears up as I had just came from climbing a hill. While in the cross walk I began to shift gears down and the chain came apart causing my back wheel to be stuck. I had to carry the whole bike with my son it to the other of the cross walk. The following day - contacted customer service for help. I was placed on hold, then HUNG UP on. I immediately called right back and got the same woman who then told me she could NOT help me because I exceeded the 30 day return. She mentioned that she would have exchanged it but the bike was sold out. She then informed me the only option for me was to contact warranty and she referred me to my manual for the number. Next day - google GT warranty. Department was closed after 5. (Called when I was off work) Day after - called warranty and was transferred to a different warranty because they handled my brand bike and found out the department was CLOSED due to COVID. I then contact DICKS customer service and some guy answered who seemed like he just woke up out of his sleep and was high. I couldn't even believe it. He was so out of it... slurring his words... couldn't remember the things he was saying... and his sentences didn't even make sense! He told me that the bike had a 90 day return policy and to bring it to the store for return. Because of my strange interaction with him I contacted my local Dick's sporting goods and spoke to the manager Becky. I told Becky my experience and asked her if it was true that I could return my bike. She told me that it was not and told me she understood the frustration with warranty as she has experienced the department being closed as well. She made me feel understood and knew exactly what I was talking about. She told me to bring the bike in the store and that we could fix it. She gave me a heads up that it would be a first come first serve and I was fine with that as I was in no rush and just wanted the bike fixed. I offered to buy the part on Amazon as it cost about $20 and could possibly get it quicker than if they had ordered it. She told me not to come out of pocket that the store would just go through warranty. I was so happy to have spoke to her because I thought finally some good service. Next week - I bring my bike in. I walk to the back where I knew the bikes were located and came across Bob who mentioned he was about to be off and to go the front where I will need to fill out papers. So I go back to the front and waited to fill out papers. The girl assisting me was helping so many other people I was just standing there. Not to mention I had my 3 yo old who wasn't as patient. I filled the paper work Bob comes to the front and tells ME what happened to my bike. Basically telling me that I dropped my bike (which I never did) that he can tell because of the scuff marks (my bike came with no kickstand and when riding my bike I def brush the pedal against the wall when I come to a stop at a bench) he mentioned the oil on my spokes came from the chains coming off because the hangar bent when I dropped it. Which wasn't true. Before bringing it my son had been spinning where the gears shift and was touching the spokes with hands. The fact that they were causing me what I DID with my bike made me feel a type of way. I didn't argue with him because that's what he thinks after fixing bikes for a long time that no matter what I said wasn't going to change his mind. 2 days later - Bob calls me to tell me my bike is fixed and ready to go! He was very pleasant to speak with and although I felt a way from him telling me what I did to my bike I was just happy that he fixed it so fast! He was kind and told me he was able to fix it faster than usually was because he had an extra part from a previous bike he had to fix. He told me I would not be charged for any labor and to just pay for the hangar. I expressed my appreciation because I anticipated it being there longer and told him I'd come after work to pick it up. While I didn't mention it to him that Becky told me warranty would take care of it I waited until I got to the store with hopes of Becky being there. Arrival - I go to the back and push the button since no one was in the section. Steven comes over and was RUDE from the get go. I let him know that I pushed the button and he was like "OKAY." I was expecting him to say something else and he just stared at me so I said "I'm here to pick up my bike" and he was like "Okay... name?" And so I said "Jacklynn" so he rudely opens the binder and keeps flip

I recently got into fishing with my son, so we went to Fisherman's Warehouse and bought two rods…read more The very next day, on my first cast, the tip of my rod snapped clean off while reeling in before I even hooked a fish. Based on how it broke, it seemed like a manufacturing defect. I went back to the store hoping they could help, but I was told that once the rod has been used even once it's no longer their responsibility, and I'd have to contact the manufacturer directly. The rod is a Penn Wrath II, for reference. That response was disappointing. When you buy from a retailer, you expect some level of support, especially when a product fails immediately. Just something to be aware of based on my experience, don't expect assistance from the store if there's an issue after purchase. It's alright, I just won't be doing business with them again, and neither will my friends or family. Edit: I should have read some of the past reviews before purchasing here, it looks like others have had the same experience as me.
