Service was great -- our waiter Isaiah was attentive and attractive in his western hat. Food delicious. Seating either indoor or outside. Ambiance very western with a big photo of John Wayne inside. We opted for a late breakfast which did not disappoint. We'll be back.

On a rainy, blustery February day, we were visiting Temecula old town, looking for a place to have a late breakfast. As usual, most places were packed with waiting lines 20-30 minutes long for a table. Then we spotted Rodeo Cafe. I know what you're saying: If there was no line out must not be a great place to eat. I had the same initial thought, but it turns out we were both wrong, my friend. There was no line at Rodeo Cafe, covered Ava heated patio seating available immediately, and only a 5 minute wait for a table inside. We waited, and they ushered us in to a warm spot where we could await our table being prepared. While we waited, literally every employee who passed us by greeted us, acknowledged that we were waiting, and assured us our table was nearly ready. But the good service didn't stop there. We were led to our table and provided excellent service there as well by Malorie. She was pleasant, friendly, and very helpful. Our meals were delicious, and beautifully arranged. And the prices were more than reasonable. Great atmosphere, excellent service, delicious food, generous portions, and reasonable prices. I know where we're coming back to when we visit again!

Super cute decorations for the holidays and the staff were all really friendly! I love that the patio area was dog friendly and brought our dog a water bowl while we were dining. The food was really good! The flavor was good and it was nice large portions! The green chilaquiles were delicious and the rodeo potatoes are a must try!

Portions were humongous! I literally had to take half my plate home. This was a great brunch place to eat at after a night of drinking. My huevos rancheros plate with red sauce was yummy. Super filling! Good service. Free parking at the public garage.

Absolutely love this place! I've been going to the foothill location for a few years now and it's become my favorite breakfast spot. I was so excited to hear that they were making a location in Old Town Temecula! The food is amazing as always and the servers are so sweet. I can't wait to come back!

We had family visiting so we decided to try Rodeo cafe. The patio area is good sized and was decorated very fun for Dia de las Muertos. Located in Old Town Temecula, parking is recommended at one of the public parking areas like the parking garage near city hall. I had waffles, eggs and sausage, it was delicious. Coffee refills kept coming, the service was great. I'd definitely go back.

My friend and I came here for dinner and the food was just ok, nothing that I would come back for. I had the Cowboy Salad and the steak had an odd texture. I did have a hiccup with being overcharged, but they were prompt to address the situation. Breakfast seems to be their jam, so I might come back for that.

This is a solid Mexican Restaurant. Came here after a long golf outing. The cocktails are delicious, especially a cold blended margarita. Ordered the taquitos and beer-battered shrimps. Staffs were attentive and friendly. Got all our orders correct.

Wow, wow, wow!! First off, the service was excellent--thank you to the hostess and my server. The chilaquiles were AMAZING. Perfectly crispy, and then topped with that incredible meat sauce. Truly outstanding. Thank you for bringing back childhood memories of chilaquiles.

Rodeo Cafe is located in a prime spot in Old Town right across the street from 1909. I was excited to try the food because I read good reviews and the interior decor looked charming, especially for the Christmas holiday. It is rodeo themed with horse saddles on display and barrels as part of the decor and furniture. The facility was kept clean and the service was great. Unfortunately the food was very mediocre at best. The chicken fried steak looked like a processed meat patty, and the green chilaquiles were just okay in flavor. The best part of our meal were the potatoes and the hash browns. There was also a small strand of hair in my food. I wish the food was more appealing because the service, atmosphere, and location were great.

Today was my first time here, and I got to say this place was Fantastic!! Food was Amazing! I was very surprised to hear that they serve breakfast until 3pm. Im Always missing breakfast at restaurants because I love to sleep in on my weekends! I had a Bloody Mary and that was perfect too!! They gave me a Rose for mother's day which I thought that was very sweet! I asked about their Menudo and they brought me put a small bowl to try! Bomb!! Service was Great! Everyone was Pretty attentive!! Clean restroom!! I will definitely be back!!

I am so glad this place replaced BEGOOD. I thought begood was overly priced and I didn't care for their selections. We had the 1/2 lb burger and it was huge and big enough for both myself and wife to split. We got it with Fries and paid $6 extra for side salad. Everything was good...its nice to find at least one place where you can sit off front street without killing the wallet. 1909 is fine, but the menu and "vibe" is a little "preppy" for my liking. Rodeo Cafe's steaks and burgers at a reasonable price is much more up my alley. The food was good and prices were reasonable, but nothing stood out yet....will try more next time we go...but for now this is our go-to to replace 1909 when we want the oldtown vibe. We of course stopped by the ice cream cone place on our way home. While I may suggest the restaurant is "nothing to write home about", it is in a prime location of old town temecula. When we want that "vibe", it is currently our "go to" for that purpose. I like "Swing Inn" better, but this is at a better location, and nice for a change, and much prefer it to the 1909 menu and preppy feel, and think the prices are much better too.

We ordered the breakfast combos. Hubby had the waffle which was delicious! I had the pancakes and my friend said to ask for the fried pancakes and it took it to another level of goodness. So flavorful and tender. Their bacon and sausage are yummy. Our server Dalia was very attentive and pleasant. In fact the rest of the staff was very attentive as well. read more

We came here this morning because reviews looked good! sadly, we didn't get to try the food. we were a party of 4 seated at 11:20; seated inside. We were then ignored by servers for 30 minutes. It was not busy inside. There was a family wrapping up their meal and a party of 6 seated across the way who were helped and got to place an order. The server then cleaned the table of the family that left, took her time to wipe every surface down. I'm glad she was being through but it would've been nice to at least been acknowledged. Shortly after this we just decided to get up and leave and take our business elsewhere. Ambiance was okay! I wish we would've been helped. read more

I've been here three times...twice with my husband, once with a friend. We obviously like the place! The food is very good...fresh and the chilaquiles are the best! My husband has ordered them twice. I had the patty melt for lunch the first time...very good. Eggs Benedict for bkfast last week and it was excellent! All the staff are friendly and do their job well. Highly recommend. read more

My family (10 people) and I were looking for a place to eat and we were walking down old town and each place had these long wait times of an hour or more, I decided to check this place out, nice seating areas very welcoming. The employees were very kind and attentive. I asked the host if they'd be able to seat 10 people and we were seated within 5 minutes. AMAZING. The food came out quickly, the flavor on everything was spot on. I'd say the only thing was the clam chowder was a bit runnier than I'm used to but the flavor was good, the consistency is more of a preference. This place is decently priced as well, a family of 10 and it was like $200! Can't find that at a lot of places anymore. Will be coming back, check this place out:) read more

Decided to try a new place in old town and it did not let us down! Great service from our server Omar and the food was really good! The rodeo potatoes are fire!!!! I would say this reminds of place I used to go to in Norco when I was a kid! My wife had the Ortega chile omelette and that was really good also! We will definitely be back! read more

The person who was doing the seating was so rude. It was hot outside and they kept us waiting for a long time. Long enough for a line to form. We stepped inside to avoid the sun and he refused to seat us. Said he was going to seat others first even though we were first. Told us we were supposed to wait outside so he wasn't going to seat us. I have to say that Temecula isn't the most diverse place on the planet. Not sure if that had anything to do with it, though. I'd never even try to go there again. read more

Great food I had the 1/2 rack ribs came w Cole slaw and i ordered a baked potatoes instead of mash potatoes. My Dad has the chicken wings he wasn't to empresses but we all loved the corn bread , my mom had the fried lightly battered calamari she enjoyed it . My only recommendation serve wet wipes with your ribs. Great staff read more

Service was very very slow. Everyone but me got their food. Then when they brought my BBQ sandwich it was on the plate alone, no fries, garnish nothing! Just like they threw it on the plate. We had to remind them about the fries. They have potential, probably need to hire more servers and cooks. Food was good. A lot of good selections on the menu. We'll try it again. read more

Sheesh! Went back and the menudo was in a much smaller bowl with less flavor. They messed up our order 3 times and didn't get it right until we were done eating and it was cold. The breakfast burrito was humongous our first time here and was extremely small the second time. Won't be back! They did so well the first time but they struck out big time our second trip! read more

Had the pork chops and eggs and combo Omelette. Pork chops were so tender and juicy perfectly seasoned, house potatoes so yummy onions and bell peppers and seasoned just right, eggs cooked just right as I requested. The Combo Omelette didn't come as your typical omelette, its made more like a scramble so that was different, hubby was looking forward to an omelette but over all it was yummy. Rodeo Cafe is very generous on their servings. One thing I absolutely loved about Rodeo Cafe is that every dish is served with a chile Toriado a signature for all dishes, which I absolutely love! Our server Malorie a total sweetheart gave us amazing service constantly checking on us if we needed anything, making sure we were enjoying our meal. Thank you Malorie for giving excellent service. It has a very nice ambiance, we didn't go inside we decided to eat outdoors since the weather was perfect for an outdoor meal. Towards the end of our brunch we had the opportunity to meet one of the owners as he came up to our table and asked how we liked our meal, didn't get his name, but he did give us a little history of his family's franchised how it all started. Very cool story started as a young man working for his family. He was also hopeful that he would get the news of getting licensed to sell liquor tomorrow, very nice guy. All and all I will definitely be going back and highly recommend Rodeo Cafe to everyone you will not be disappointed. I regret not taking any pictures to show the yummy portions and yummy food. Next time as there will most definitely be a next time. ALL IN ALL I GIVE RODEO CAFE A 10 out of 10!!! read more

I ordered the lobster, and it was drier than a sponge left in the desert for a decade. The butter sauce that came with it was cold, congealed, and honestly pretty unappetizing. My fiancé ordered the chicken parmesan, but whatever showed up on the plate was definitely not chicken parmesan. We also ordered the $30 pull-apart bread. They burned the first one and had to bring us a replacement. Ironically, that ended up being the only thing we ate that actually had any flavor. For the amount of money we spent, the food was shockingly mediocre at best. The atmosphere is unique, but a cool cave can't make up for bad food and overpriced menu items. Overall, a huge disappointment. Save your money and eat somewhere else.

It wasn't crowded & we were seated right away. Our waiter was Anthony and we were very happy with his service. I had the traditional scrambled eggs, bacon, house potatoes with wheat toast & coffee while hubby got the Belgian waffle with eggs & bacon. My plate was huge! We didnt wait too long before our food arrived, and boy were we excited after seeing the plates. Right off the bat, the dishes looked picture perfect. A dish that would be handed to you at a fine restaurant (but with affordable prices haha). After taking my first bite, I was very happy! The sauce had SUCH a good flavor and wasn't watery. I have ordered spaghetti and meatballs other places, that were lacking in flavor...and this was far from that! The two slices of crusty garlic bread weren't soggy at all. The meatballs! Oh the meatballs. The were so flavorful and tender. My fork just slid into each one as I cut into them... just like butter. I couldn't believe it and asked our server how they are so good!? The server let us know their sauce and meatballs were homemade, and I made sure to tell her they were outstanding! The wagyu burger was exactly how you would expect it to be. Perfectly cooked burger with great taste as a whole! The garlic fries were SUPERB. I just couldn't believe these came from a little casino Cafe. Our waitress was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. They also have outdoor seating, which made for a really nice and relaxing atmosphere, also you can bring your furry babies which I love! Between the great food, friendly service, and pleasant ambiance, we had a wonderful time. We'll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this restaurant!

We had the absolute best experience at Rodeo Cafe yesterday morning! My mom and I stopped by for breakfast on Thanksgiving after discovering our usual spot was closed--and I'm honestly so glad it was, because it led us here. We were able to find perfect parking right in front of the restaurant, and before we even made it inside, we were greeted by a warm, friendly host who set the tone for the entire visit. The energy was upbeat and welcoming, and the service throughout was exceptional. Every staff member we interacted with--hosts, servers, everyone--was genuinely kind, attentive, and made us feel completely taken care of. I ordered the chorizo and eggs breakfast plate, and it was absolutely delicious. Packed with flavor, cooked perfectly, and so satisfying. My mom had waffles with eggs and sausage and couldn't stop raving about it. Everything was fresh, hot, and clearly made with care. We chose to sit on the patio and it was such a beautiful morning--peaceful, sunny, and just a great vibe all around. The whole experience felt like a hidden gem moment. We both left full, happy, and already talking about coming back. Next time, we definitely want to try their lunch or dinner menu too.
