Apparently Rodeo Goat is a Texas chain but as chains go, this is a good one. Rodeo Goat is a burger joint but on steroids, and amphetamines. The burgers and fries were phenomenal, and the toppings range from typical to insane. We had a table of 7 guys who had spent the day drinking beer and attending an Astros game, so I was slightly buzzed upon arrival. So of course we started with more beer. They had probably 15-20 brews on tap and most of them were local. Then we pretty much ordered all their fries. There were regular fries, sweet potato fries, chili cheese fries, cheese fries with jalapenos and bacon....at this point I sound like Bubba Gump. For a burger I got a Whiskey Burger. It had a blackberry jam, candied bacon, cheddar and a bourbon mustard. Delicious! All great beer drinking food. So why only 4 stars instead of 5? Well, I may have been drunk and just thought everything was great.

We wanted some good burgers and found great reviews here. The place seems packed all the time especially during the weekend. Plenty places to sit indoor and out. We ordered Ranch House Burger, Marvin Zinder burger, The Empire Burger and Bodacious in a bowl. As well as two side orders of fries. Healthy portions to fill hungry bellies. Burgers were cooked to liking. Mine was juicy and flavorful. Service was great our server was friendly and made sure we were taken care of. Casual place to talk, laugh and even scream when a game is on

There is a paid parking lot across the street, or you can try to find free street parking. Side note, do not leave any valuables in your car as my friend's car was broken into. When you walk into the establishment, no one will seat you, so you'll need to find a table yourself and a waiter will come by shortly after. Service was pretty good, and everything I ordered was absolutely delicious. I literally have nothing bad to say and would highly recommend giving this place a try. 1. Inspector Clouseau Burger: If you're a fan of smash patties, this is the one. The meat was incredibly tender, and the onions added so much flavor. The dipping broth on the side oddly tasted like a rich and delicious beef soup, which made it even better. 2. Fries: So crispy, flavorful, and the perfect portion size for two people to share. 3. Churro Goat Balls: The name is pretty self explanatory. They were super delicious and basically like warm, fluffy bread balls. I'm so happy I got to eat here for dinner and can't wait to come back!

Rattlesnake (sangria margarita) is absolutely amazing, one of my favorite cocktails ever and decently strong Nanny Goat was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Cheese fries surprise also amazing and insanely huge portion Lots of street parking and paid parking lots nearby. Fast and friendly service, would definitely come back. Great place for both lunch and dinner/chill night with friends

Been to Rodeo Goat a few times now and it's easily one of the cooler burger spots in town.. Location in EaDo is great (A favorite stop around plenty of bars in the area), it was a packed house when we visited for a World cup Saturday night, high energy.. Lots of creative flavor combos and add-ons to choose from, the meats are seasoned well with a variety of sauces to choose from. Fries were just okay but they got a full bar. What's not to love? Plenty of indoor seating with high tables and some outdoor patio bars. It's a fun atmosphere and definitely a more modern/trendy vibe, and service was surprisingly very efficient considering how pack it can get. Overall, it's a fun spot to grab a burger and a drink, especially if you're looking to escape the heat while bar hopping or after a Dynamo game. Would I drive across town just for it? Probably not... But it's definitely a popular local spot for a reason, and I can see why people keep coming back.

    CHEESE FRIES SURPRISE

The location never disappoints when looking for a filling burger. Its heavy if you pair with fries but worth the calories. Service is always on point even with new staff and fits into the EaDo vibe. Not far from the baseball stadium with a short walk.

When planning out me and my friend's itinerary, we were trying to find a food spot that would be close to Truck Yard and I just happened to come across Rodeo Goat on Maps, and it didn't disappoint! Their burger menu was great, and had many different loaded burger options, which I loved! I ended up getting the Sugar Burger which came with the patty, candied bacon, grilled peaches, caramelized onion, and jalapeño jam. The peach was a great addition and added a faint sweet touch to it. The burger also came with a huge side of fries! If you're a burger fan, I would definitely recommend this spot, because there's burger options that would satisfy anyone! It is also right next to Truck Yard, so perfect dinner spot and then you can hop next door for drinks! I also thought service overall was great, and the ambiance was very casual and relaxed.

Super good burger and ambiance. Food came out immediately, so fast service. Solid rodeo theme commemorating Houston Rodeo performances. Not a ton of beers in the draft selection, but they do have some dark ones--if you like (512)'s Pecan Porter! Smaller burger, more stuff going on flavor wise. Good things. Unexpected things... The blue cheese burger ("luv ya blue")had a strong clove and other spices in a coleslaw that was very delicate and delicious, in a brioche bun, with a really juicy beef patty. The clove was a curveball, and it was a really memorable, perhaps even bright tasting burger.

    CHEESE FRIES NO SURPRISE

$4 Moontangs ALL DAY when the Astros are playing (normally $9). Great drink that is not overly sweet. Super smooth consistency. 1/2 price fries ALL DAY every Wednesday. They have 1/2 or full orders of fries btw. The food and service were both phenomenal. Fries are fully loaded and covered is gooey cheese. Absolute guilty pleasure! The bun holds up to the burger and all its toppings. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. My only complaint is they forgot the jalapeños on my fries and my salad was also missing the hard boiled eggs.

    ROYALE WITH CHEESE

Yummy food! Queso was okay, not my favorite. I had the Firebird and added whipped blue cheese and red onion. Blue cheese was so yummy. So was the Bandit Ranch. I wish the fresno aioli was a little spicier, but I have a pretty high tolerance for heat. Neat little place, industrial/diner feel. Great happy hour. Melody was our server. She was super sweet and helpful.

During a conference my coworkers and I walked here. When we walked up we were a bit confused as to where to go because the hostess station is in the far back of the restaurant. We had a great time here as the weather was perfect to sit outside. Our waiter was great even though he disappeared after we got our food. I loved the different options of burgers and I chose the one with the blueberry compote. The bun was toasted and soft and meat was cooked to perfection. The fries came hot and crispy in some places. If I was back downtown I would come back hands down.

The burgers are on the smaller side here but I love the selection! It was my first time here but the friends I came with all generally agreed that the burgers were smaller than they remembered (not sure if there's been a downsizing over time or if they had larger portions from other locations). I went for The Luv Ya Blue, which had great flavor and texture from the bleu cheese slaw. The waiter recommended it cooked Medium Well. I also ordered the Salted Caramel Pretzel milkshake and saw stars with how good it was- I would come back for the milkshakes alone. The pairing was also suprisingly good. There's decent street parking and a paid lot across from the restaurant. Sit outside during the cooler nights, the patio is spacious and they have a few games like Ring Swing and Connect Four. I do wish the portion sizes were a little bigger but this is a great place for a fun date night or a casual outing with friends. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! - Ambiance: 5/5 - Food: 4/5 - Service: 5/5

NEW FAVORITE BURGER PLACE!!!!! First time visiting and we were blown away. Loved that it was inside & outside. There were fun games for everyone to play with such as Hook & Ring and giant Connect 4. DOG FRIENDLY!!!! Our server Morgan was awesome and gave great recommendations. We got the Bodacious burger, Billy F Gibbons burger, & Homemade Goat Chips. Morgan gave us a sample of the goat chips before we decided to order them. Highly recommend this place!!

Okay, Nancy's Hustle is officially a HIDDEN GEM!…read more I chose this place for dinner based on a recommendation, and it absolutely did not disappoint. This was the dinner portion of a first date, and the vibe was PERFECT. First things first--Nancy's Hustle is kind of tucked away, so you need to know where you're going. Map yourself there and pay attention because you could easily pass right by it. But once I opened that door... YES! It's a small, intimate restaurant with low lighting, a bar, table seating and a patio. We arrived before the patio opened at 7:00, which was perfectly fine with me because I actually prefer sitting at the bar. The whole space just had that cozy, intimate, grown-folks-date-night feel without trying too hard. We started with cocktails. My date ordered one of their summer cocktails--I cannot remember the name to save my life --but it was a beautiful yellow drink served with a pineapple slice, and it was GOOD! I stuck with my favorite, a classic Long Island, and they made it perfectly. Now let's talk about this FOOD! We tried the Parmesan and Pancetta Croquettes, and they were delicious. Crispy on the outside and incredibly soft, creamy, savory and cheesy inside, with shredded Parmesan across the top. Even the presentation was beautiful. I ordered the cheeseburger, and I almost NEVER get excited about somebody changing up a burger, but this one came on an English muffin and IT WORKED! The fresh beef smash burger was cooked perfectly. I left off the pickles, aioli and onions, but otherwise I wouldn't have changed a thing. It was honestly one of the best-prepared burgers I've had in a while. Then, halfway through my burger, I discovered they had French fries. How did I miss the fries?! So of course I ordered them late, and I'm glad I did. Fresh, hand-cut potatoes, perfectly cooked, and served with a dipping sauce that I cannot identify--but whatever was in that little cup needs to keep happening because it was AMAZING. From the cocktails to the food to the atmosphere, Nancy's Hustle was exactly what I wanted for a first-date dinner: intimate, relaxed, interesting and GOOD. Definitely one of those places that makes you say, "How have I never been here before?" Nancy's Hustle, I WILL be back.

We had a 7pm reservation for two, and it was in a corner with a small table and high bar stools. It was very hot. We were sweaty, and I am normally very cold in restaurants. I think they go a little overboard with saying that having food here is like traveling the world and breaks down barriers. I like the concept though. They could do more with the decor to give it more of a world traveler vibe. They definitely tried. They were playing American hip hop music, which does not fit the international theme. We got the three course dinner, which was $60 each plus tip. The food was good but did not feel like it was worth the price. For appetizers, we got the Mochiko Chicken and Crispy Pork Belly in Pasilla Sauce. We liked the chicken a lot, and it came with a sweet mango chutney and spicy mayo sauce. The pork belly was alright. It was pretty standard. For entrees, we got the Singaporean Shrimp Laksa and Nigerian Suya Skewers. I liked the noodles and curry, but the fish cakes were not that appetizing. The skin was much bigger than the meat inside, so it would weirdly inflate or deflate. The shrimp came with their tails on, so I got my hands slimy with curry. I did not personally try the beef, but I was informed it was a 3.85/5 and 4/5 with the sauce. The laksa was a decently sized portion, but the beef was quite the small portion with a few chunks and a bit of rice and tomatoes. For dessert, we enjoyed the Orange Torta Caprese and New Orleans Bourbon Bread Pudding. I was kind of confused why the chocolate cake was called torta. It was very small but nice and rich. The orange flavour was strong. The bread pudding, on the other hand, was very big. Although it wasn't pudding. There was a large piece of the bread in whole form. It was delicious. I did not taste bourbon.

Service: not great, we had a manager start off as our server but she was awkward in a "not socially aware" way (ex. she kept saying our server had to use the bathroom, even when our server came to the the table and looked so embarrassed; she also told me my non-alcoholic drink order would not taste good without knowing it's what I drink at home), rushed us (every time she said she would give us a moment she'd come RIGHT back to the table within seconds) Our actual server started off rocky as well, perhaps wasn't having a good day and she was visibly annoyed with the manager. She was short and blank with us until she realized we're very nice lol and by the end, her tone and energy had completely shifted for the better. The foreign object: about 2/3 of the way through the meal, I bit into a small piece of blue plastic. There was street parking but I was coming with a baby so unloading the stroller on the street was a no for me. There was a garage and supposedly valet parking. I couldn't find the valet anywhere in the block so I just went to the garage. It was $7 for 2 hours Service: Our server was great! It seemed like she was the only one and the place was packed ! Seating: There were 2 tops, 4 tops, and booths. They also had high chairs. They did let us pull the stroller up to a table for my little guy to sit . The space is larger than expected and was packed the entire time. They also have a large patio but none of their fans weee working Other: They have 1 unisex restroom. Luckily it was large as I had to bring my stroller in to use it as a changing table since they didn't have one. The challenging part was the door wouldn't fully open so I had to really push it to get it open far enough to get the stroller in
