Named after Astros legend Craig Biggio, the restaurant fully embraces Houston sports culture, with memorabilia, massive screens, and an atmosphere buzzing with excitement. From the moment you walk in, the energy is contagious. Crowds gather around towering floor-to-ceiling screens while conversations, cheers, and game-day excitement fill the air. During our visit, a FIFA match between the Netherlands and Switzerland was on. We honestly could not imagine a better place to watch it. These screens are so enormous that even a casual sports fan like me found myself completely engaged. The space itself is impressive. The two-level venue is massive, with a central bar downstairs surrounded by seating and screens seemingly everywhere you look. Upstairs, accessible by either a steep staircase or the elevator (we happily chose the elevator), you'll find a smaller bar, roped-off VIP areas, and additional seating facing yet another gigantic screen. The scale of the entire operation is remarkable. After exploring both levels, we settled downstairs at the main bar to soak in the atmosphere. While my friends focused on the adult beverages, I focused on the food. The menu goes well beyond typical sports bar fare. Alongside burgers, wings, and nachos, there are brisket dishes and elevated comfort-food options. I ordered the salmon sandwich with fries, and it exceeded expectations. The salmon filet was generous, flavorful, and topped with shredded green and purple cabbage that added freshness and crunch. The fries were crispy with just the right amount of seasoning. Service was friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. Oh man. This is a place I'd want to love and has potential. I love the atmosphere and ambiance - perfect sports bar vibe, multiple big screens, and menu boasts a great selection that looks like more than bar food. So far so good with the concept. Unfortunately the wheels fall off with the execution. I ordered the pan seared salmon with rice and asparagus. They overdid it with the salt. I mean, to the point where you could take a bite and almost crunch the grains in your mouth (see pic). The fish was fresh and juicy and cooked perfectly, but the coating of salt on top just ruined it. Tone it down next time, and this could easily be four or even five stars. I'm really glad we did. We were welcomed warmly, sat immediately, and were impressed by the ambiance. The staff and service were wonderful. I think it's supposed to be a bar and grill, but it appears more upscale than your normal bar and grill. The food and drink selection was a healthy mix of anything anyone could want. The chicken tender basket was beyond incredible (plump and juicy) and the breading was perfection. The salads were great. The burgers were also amazing. Came in for an event and decided to give this place a try. I loved the atmosphere, but that's where things ended. I'm assuming they have a different menu for the time of day. Lunch menu was very limited. No prices on menu so you have no idea what your spending until the check came. Service was very slow. Sitting here writing this review I've waited over 10 mins for the waitress so come pick up the check. Waited 15 mins plus for a waitress to come take our order. Food was ok, but I have simple tastes. Was hoping for a simple burger and fries, but that wasn't an option. Ordered the "HR chicken strips"only 2 strips of chicken and a handful of fries (no basket) $21. I can get a better value at Cane's. Wife loved the dirty hot dog. All totaled, chicken strips, kids grilled cheese, dirty dog, chips and dip, with three drinks and tip was $100. Boring and Flavorless - and I Like Plain White Rice First the good. We had reservations for a large party of eight. The table was set up ahead of time, and getting to our seats was smooth and easy. Ordering our drinks was also handled with quickness and care. In fact, the waitress, Scarlett, did a great job all around. She deserves all the credit and none of the blame for what followed. We got two orders of chips and queso / three dips for the table, and they arrived pretty quickly. The chips were tasteless to the point that even my youngest asked if we could salt them. They were probably baked, so perhaps they were healthier than chips with, you know, taste and flavor. At least there was queso, right? Cheesy deliciousness! Nope. I really don't know how you make queso that dull. Biggio's found a way. To be clear, I don't even like things all that spicy. My family was from Pennsylvania where salt is considered a "spice" and almost everything tastes like mashed potatoes. Like the Barenaked Ladies sang, vanilla is the finest of the flavors. If your queso is blander than vanilla, though, you're breaking some kind of mediocrity record. It was a bar, and bar-food-burgers have always been a delight to me. Juicy, delicious burgers on warm buns and dressed with my choice of fresh vegetables and a frosty beer. With all the wonderful flavors mingling just so. My mouth waters just typing this in. Unfortunately, Biggio's bacon cheddar burger has never met such a burger. It was supposedly "medium." It was medium well, if I'm being generous; but even then it was like the chef had somehow extracted every ounce of burgery deliciousness and donated it to Guy Fieri for Flavortown. My wife also had the burger and pronounced it "fine." Gentlemen, you know what your wife means when she says "it's fine." 'Nuff said. Others in our party were perhaps more adventurous and opted for the BBQ Brisket and Mac & Cheese. Sounds great, right? A beautiful melding of two fantastic dishes that complement each other so well that M&C is a ubiquitous side dish at every BBQ joint everywhere. Well, the queso at least LOOKED like cheese. The cavatappi was the beige of a 1981 Volvo, and the meat was as dry as my burger. And MAYBE someone in the back might have whispered "barbecue sauce" over the plate as it left the kitchen. I didn't get a report on the tacos, but I did observe that nobody finished theirs. The high point, taste-wise, was the dessert. Four of us split two of the seasonal hazelnut cheesecakes, and the other four shared two of the warm chocolate brownie. The former was strange, though tasty. It just didn't really look or taste like a cheesecake. It was more like a very thick pudding atop another, nuttier less-thick pudding. The baseball brownie looked better than it ended up tasting, especially the "baseball shell" over the ice cream. The pricing wasn't too bad for downtown on a Saturday night. Only a couple of us ordered alcohol, which helped keep the total tab under $400 for a party of 8 with 2 apps and 4 desserts. I expected $$ and it was closer to $$$. Also, there are no prices on the printed menus, so you'll have to use the QR to get "live" pricing. All in all, not what I expected from something with Craig Biggio's name attached. read more

Um the inside on the ground floor is very underwhelming and very mid. There's a hostess stand to the left and seating to the right. If you keep walking past the hostess station you arrive at the bar. A standard issue bar with the usual alcoholic offerings. Nothing special. There are a few large TVs barside and if you walk to the left a giant TV and other side tvs. Nothing special. Anyrate I ordered the poke nachos and albeit very large portions it wasn't that good. A pleasant surprise was that it was made with wonton chips. This place is huge! It is a good spot to watch a game. I particularly liked that their high top table chairs had backs to them. The presentation of the food was great and overall pretty good. They also had a great local tap list. My biggest complaint is the cost of the beer. It was $12 for a craft beer and $10 for a Miller Lite which is wild.
