The portions are pretty large, I loved the fries even though I usually like a skinnier fry, they were just crispy enough. We went for lunch today and it was pretty busy. I got the Royale with Cheese and it was great! My wife got the Olivia and said it was awesome and tasted really fresh. We went to eat at 9:50 PM and we sat down waited approx 10 minutes to be acknowledged, and after finally getting some to come to the table they told his the kitchen was closed. The times for the restaurant shows 11 PM online and on the door. If you're going to say your open, PLEASE BE OPEN!!! Don't waste 30 minutes of someone's time! If the late time of 11 PM is too late for this location CHANGE it to 9 PM on weekdays! This type of mediocre care for customers could be understandable if this were a small restaurant however a large restaurant group owns it. Dropped in for a quick lunch. Food was great, but they had a little trouble with their drinks and knowing what whiskey was available. Told me a certain whiskey was in a signature cocktail. I ordered it, and they came back and said they don't have the whiskey currently. So I ordered something else. Then they came back and said they did have the whiskey and he was mistaken, so I went back to the original signature cocktail. This whole process took about 10 mins, while everyone else in my group received their drink. It was a little awkward, but eventually taken care of. Just a small hiccup. The place looks great, clean, feels like ft worth location rather than trying too hard to be modern, which is good. Disclaimer I LOVE rodeo goat at ft worth. I was there so much. This store, I was there during first week of opening and the experience was great, chatted with barkeep and almost felt like home again but Since that visit their meat and service has been blend. No chit chat, no warm welcome, no normal southern charm or talking or bantering. Bottom line it didn't feel friendly as the first week. Also burger, I don't know what happen, aside from the first week...they continuously over cook the meat. it's always well done EVEN after I would hound the server about medium rare or even medium. But nope, after double triple checking telling them to remind the cook it's constantly overdone. There is no excuse! It wasn't busy, I explained how the meat was over done two separate visit now. I even complained to the "manager" though I believe manager was suppose to be a lady and I spoke to guy...so (not sure if I was being lied to) either way...I used to love rodeo goat in ft worth and I want to love this one...but it seems they don't care? We've gone to Rodeo Goat since prior to Covid and have really enjoyed it when the quality is good but those occurrences have become fewer and fewer. The issue is food that is warm at best has become the norm. Three visits ago we were sitting by where the food came out of the kitchen to see the issue and saw our food sit there while waitstaff was visiting with each other and the manager. By the time the food was brought to the table, "hot" was long gone. We spoke to our server who was one of the few who was working hard that the others needed to help. Last time we were there, the food was great even though we didn't recognize any of the staff. We went again today and the three burgers were barely warm, the one order of fries was cold and soggy but the sweet potato fries were hot so one out of five. The food was brought out to the table by the wait staff promptly, apparently today it was a kitchen timing issue (Sunday after noon at ~3:15). Our son visited last night and the same issue. Out of our last 4 visits, one was great, the other three were sub par. I understand restaurants are having staffing issues but with the prices the way they are, I'm afraid The Goat is sadly no longer on our list. read more

I came here with my family. Didn't find the restaurant very loud. Service was good. Burgers were messy, but good. I wouldn't get this burger to go as the bottom bun would be mostly gone. Bacon had a good flavor as well as the fries. Reason for 4 stars is because they use paper straws and while I appreciate what they are trying to do, it changes the taste of the beverage and once you got to the bottom of the fries, they were more like fry chips. All in all though, we had a good time and will be back. read more

Three of us are at Rodeo Goat at the Harbor in Rockwall today for lunch. Menu was vast, food looked great, ice tea perfect.... BUT... when the food arrived, first bite- one of the ladies in the group bit into a long string. ( luckily wasn't hair) but when the manager came by the table.. they couldn't explain how this occurred. His guess, a towel. I asked, " a towel.. so you wipe the meat down w/ a towel?" He said no, the counters... made no sense. I was grossed out - told the server so. Didn't eat one bite of the meat.... was still charged $14+ for the burger... not okay! read more

Have had nothing but good experiences until today. Customer service was good as usual, but ordered the Olivia Darling burger and it was really just awful. The first time it came out barely warm and they remade it so next up a nice hot burger. But both times they used a scoop to put a too large portion, way more than should be used, of the black olive tapenade in the center with a scoop of the cheese. Way over powering and the burger was not at all enjoyable. The cucumbers were also blah. Tried something new and it just did not work. Even if executed well, these toppings belong somewhere else and not on a burger. Still the beef itself and the bun make these great burgers with the right toppings and execution. Might have the cooks try eating what they make and they would then understand what I am talking about with the tapenade as well. read more

Wow! Great tasting and inventive burgers. Or build your own. AMPLE helping of fries. Fresh cut with skin and cooked to a crisp. Great beer selection. Skip desert. The fried pies are a bit doughy and had very little filling. Flavor of pies were just ok. We have been a couple of times and waiters are good but be prepared for a slow meal at busy times. read more

Went with a good friend to celebrate my birthday and we loved it! Service and food were both excellent! We had the Bodacious burger for dinner and were wowed by all the flavor. Very disappointed. Came here for a birthday burger and was excited to visit for the first time. Nicely decorated and fun atmosphere but the burger, The Telluride, was absolutely tasteless. No seasoning at all, and I am not just referring to salt and pepper which I added on myself. Just kinda blah tasting. Best thing was definitely the fries but I would not recommend the burgers. Not as impressed as I wanted to be. Could be because we went when the restaurant was still too new. Seating is confusing, not knowing whether to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. The beer I ordered they were out of but took a long while to find that out. The food was good, not great. Burger was a little dry and over cooked for my liking.
