Twisted icecream with peanut butter and banana

Over priced and tasted like a healthy pb fit smoothie from smoothie king. A medium was $9, the icecream wasn't sweet, the banana and peanut butter didn't taste good at all, the flavor was not it for icecream. Wish it was better, wouldn't recommend getting this.

We love rodeo whip! Our friends brought us here years ago to have their deliciously fresh ice cream. We're so glad we have this so near and can have it any time! Great and super quick service.

    Garbage Pail and Oreo pints!

Small, local and long standing ice cream joint in Deland. Not a large place or overly fancy, just simple and perfect. I've been going to this place since I was a kid and it still hits the spot! Large variety of flavors and choices to mix and match for the perfect cone or sundae!! My personal fav as a kid and even until now is the Garbage Pail, vanilla mixed with snickers, peanut butter cups and m&ms. I realized I was in the area for work and decided to hit up the drive-thru for a few take home pints. The Garbage Pail for me (still states like heaven) and Oreo for my boyfriend. The chunks of candy/cookie with the creaminess of the ice cream make this a must stop when the craving for a sweet treat hits!

Amazing ice-cream! So many flavors, good staff and you can try samples. The small is big enough for 1 person. If you are in the area you have to stop by.

Well this place is a just a little scoop of heaven. If you've never been, you don't know what you're missing. This time of year the make their pumpkin ice cream.... Not overly pumpkin flavor and nice hints of ginger and cinnamon. My fav for this time of year. My all time fav... German Chocolate Cake. Let me tell you. Bits of moist chocolate cake, walnuts and coconut. Even better is one scoop of the German chocolate cake and one scoop of pumpkin. Amazing together!!! Ummm..., maybe I shouldn't have told you that. My husband is hooked on their chocolate chip and daughter is chocolate chip cookie dough. They have kinds of homemade flavors, sundaes, milkshakes just to name a few. They have special limited flavors throughout the seasons. Enjoy enjoy enjoy!!

My sister and I stumbled upon this gem after dinner, and let me tell you, it was the sweetest discovery of the evening. We were feeling a bit adventurous and decided to try something new. Though the name escapes me now (perhaps it's because I was too busy savoring every bite), it was a dreamy concoction of dark chocolate, fudge, and chocolate hard shells. Oh my goodness, it was like diving headfirst into a pool of chocolatey bliss! Each spoonful was a symphony of rich flavors and creamy textures that left us smitten. The ambiance of Sweet Spot Ice Cream is just as delightful as their treats. It's like stepping into a cozy little corner of paradise, with cheerful decor and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. But what truly sets this place apart is the friendly staff. They're like the cherry on top of an already perfect sundae, always ready with a smile and a willingness to help you find your new favorite flavor. So, if you're ever in Deland and craving a sweet escape, do yourself a favor and swing by Sweet Spot Ice Cream. Trust me, this sure was a sweet spot for ice cream. There was lots of candies that I haven't seen in along time. This shop has one of the longest fresh chocolate cases I've seen. There was so much fudge options and other goodies. We got several chocolates to enjoy later in our hotel. They were delicious. The staff here is the sweetest. We felt so welcomed and were greeted right away when we entered. I thought it…read morewas just a food truck type of spot, but it was actually a market with a little bit of everything, including hot food and ice cream. My wife and I arrived and tried to find parking in the lot, but it was very small with lots of vehicles parked all over, so we went to the side of the building and that's when I saw the food truck. It looked operable with outdoor seating, but no menu. So we parked in the grass area and went inside the market. The inside is much larger than it appears from the outside. The back area has some tables to dine-in and it a small section more towards the back has homemade ice cream! Onto the food.....they have a large menu with lots of options. Picture ALL of your favorite Mexican foods and then some! We tried the 5 street tacos with Jibarito (drink) special for $13.50. We added a couple of supreme tacos, a plate of refried beans and yellow rice, and a tamale. Note: We ordered chicken for the tacos and tamale. While the chicken was just ok, I would imagine that any other meat would have tasted better. Everything came out to about $25 and tasted good. Surprising, the best part were the refried beans, which is a first for me because those are usually afterthoughts at every other place I've been. So the verdict is in....is Crystal THE best Mexican food in Deland? No, but it's pretty solid. It reminded me of a gas station version of Garcia's down the street.
