Stayed here in Jan. 2011. Very happy with the room (I do think it was an ex-smoking room, but that can happen anywhere), and the owners were very nice and helpful. The waffles are indeed good! They mix (at least last year) each batch in their living quarters as you want it. They left clean towels and changed the sheets each day even though I said they didn't have to. Great motel for the price. Not at the end of town we needed, but it worked out fine. read more

This motel has a carport than runs around both sides of the U shaped building which is great for inclement weather. Each room gets its own covered stall and you don't have to worry about your vehicle being too close to the next one. Very unusual. The room was immaculate and the television was smarter than one of the operators (me). The management is very friendly and this is where I plan to stay in Medford in future trips. The ability to park your car in front of your room (and covered to protect your car from 100 plus heat) is just one of many pluses this gem has. Room was nice and clean, HDTV with DirectTV, free wi-fi, and comfortable bed (for me it was). A suggestion: add door stops. We have been traveling for almost 2 weeks and have stayed at several nice & several questionable motels...this was one that was among the best we have stayed at. Nice clean, quiet room, comfy bed, hot water and they also have a laundry for guests. U can imagine after traveling for 2 weeks we needed a laundry desperately...nice and clean laundry room. Clean, only $62 dollars a night with AAA discount, ice machine outside (and across from Wendy's if it goes out), free breakfast and coffee in the morning, your car is parked right outside your room, the air conditioning was very efficient, and the KING sized bed was super comfy. read more

We arrived very late, and were very pleased with the Rodeway Inn. Off the Freeway a decent distance, and overall a quiet location. Room was very clean and beds were comfortable. I really liked the covered carport spaces outside each room. Good front desk service and a decent breakfast. My only complaint was a noisy heater fan. This motel is awesome and definitely shows pride of ownership as well as genuine care for their guests!! Room was lovely and clean and well stocked. The owner comes in to talk with guests in the breakfast room and make sure they are happy with everything. They even went to the trouble and expense to build shade/rain covers over all the parking spots on the building perimeter--never saw this at any other motel I've stayed in! I stayed there twice on a road trip to Northern Oregon. The family and staff are so nice, and the place is great for traveling on the way up Interstate 5. The rooms are clean, bed is comfortable, a fridge (and freezer compartment that actually freezes ice packs!) and microwave which are very useful and I love the parking set up- right under the canopy in front of your own room. The only issue I really have with it is that the breakfast area is definitely a bit small, but the offerings for breakfast are wonderful- waffles, pastries, eggs, sausage, and cereals and good selection of fruit juices and coffee. The issue I have is that they don't let you take food back to your room. It has to stay in the breakfast room. Not sure why that is required, and I don't know Oregon food safety and santitation laws, but if you don't have sufficient space for all of the people who come on an average summer weekend, then food should be allowed to leave the room. Other than that, I love this place and will definitely be back sometime in the future. read more

Traveling from California, family of 4 and I have to say how pleasantly surprised I was with our room. Refrigerator and microwave plus coffee maker in the room, free wifi and continental breakfast. Very clean and lots of room to spread out. I like that each room has there own personal covered parking stall right in front of your door to the room. Really close to the freeway and restaurants. Also very quiet since it is set off the main road. I highly recommend giving this small, quaint inn a chance. I know I would be back if we go through this area in the future. read more

This is a really nice place, clean and pleasant. The thing that turns this Inn into a five star Inn though is the manager. He is fantastic!!! He really helped me out from before I ever arrived. He was really kind and helpful and helped me park my really hard to park car. He spent a lot of time with me helping me out, and was really kind and pleasant about it. Many people would have gotten impatient with me, but instead he seemed honestly happy to help me and very patient. He was incredibly kind to me. That is something that is very rare in this day and age. I pass through here a lot. Now I know where to stay when I come back. For those interested, there's a coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, and nice TV. There is free wifi and a full breakfast in the morning. Also, the place seems very clean yet doesn't smell so bad of lysol it would kill me walking in the door. I appreciate that a lot being chemical sensitive. read more

This place was awesome. The room was clean and smelled nice. Nothing fancy just good value for the price. Each room has their own personal covered parking stall. The continental breakfast was very nice. One of the best things was the service they gave when we arrived late. The clerk was genuinely concerned and was so very helpful. I wouldn't be surprised if she was one of the owners, she was great. The young man that was at the desk in the morning was also very helpful. My wife and I were looking for any vacancy in town, and were able to book a room maybe 30 minutes before our arrival. We were so fortunate we found Rodeway Inn. The service was warm and friendly, and the check in and check out process was quick and easy. The rooms were very clean and well kept, the bed was super comfortable and the amenities were plentiful. We especially enjoyed the free breakfast, which provided self-serve waffles, biscuits and gravy, fluffy eggs and sausage patties among a very nice breakfast spread. The location is near I-5, the bed is comfortable, there is a mini-fridge and microwave, and a complimentary breakfast that is better than most places that include free breakfasts. While traveling on vacation about an hour and a half out from Medford, my husband called to reserve a room for me. He was informed that there was no need to reserve a room as there was "plenty of vacancy". At my arrival an hour and a half later, I walk in to be informed there was no vacancy, and that despite my husband calling they booked out that room to someone else twenty minutes prior to my arrival leaving me stranded. Had they allowed my husband to reserve a room as he requested this would not be an issue, however they declined to do that and insisted there was plenty of rooms available which was clearly not the case. Now the real question is, did he actually rent out the room, or did he just decline me on my arrival due to my mobility service dog? We shall never know. Spent four nights here to attend legal matters in Medford. First this place gets points for having new comfortable mattresses. Isn't that why you get a hotel room in the first place, to sleep. Nicely remodeled, clean, space design very functional. Have a direct private covered carport to your door. Liked the timer on the heater/cooler unit. Good service, quick no nonsense breakfast. One of my pet peeve - TV sleep timer which I was not able to find on the DirectTV remote. And I hope late night TV watching did not travel to next room. We're pleased to say that family-owned Rodeway Inn lived up to the hype! And now we're here to vouch for it. Clean, upgraded rooms and A/C ready and waiting for us when we checked in from 100 degree heat this Saturday. Spotless bathroom, plush bed, and very helpful/friendly staff. We checked in on Fourth of July and despite many local restaurants being closed for the holiday the Roadway Inn team was eager to help us find an open, tasty restaurant to go to nearby. The next morning we had a better-than-good continental breakfast - decent coffee, DIY waffles, A/C and more pleasant/accommodating staff. We will be back! read more

I have never been to a hotel this clean. I always take a disinfectant wipe to the door handles (Inside & out), telephone, tv remote light switches etc...as these items are usually missed by the cleaning person but there was not one speck of dirt on it. I even wiped down the directory. There were plenty of nice towels and the sheets were very nice too. The bed was a bit firm for my taste but it won't keep me from coming back. I love that you can park in a covered area right in front of your room and the fact that there is only 1 entrance & exit. I think my only real complaint is the noisy bathroom fan that comes on when you turn on the light. Glad I always bring a night light:) The owner, Kumar, is very friendly. We'' be back:) read more

Checked in here going of online reviews. For a inexpensive motel, this was great. The grounds were furnished with summer/fall flowers. Designated parking in front of your room. Room had no foul smells and was extremely clean. I like the fact that's it's 100% non smoking or pets. ( one inconsiderable girl needed to smoke under the carport) I have stayed on worse for more$. I would definitely come back. Staff is accomadatong. 5 stars would of been having a lounge on site. Within 3 blocks is 3 tweeker poker bars. Dress nice and they think you are Feds and leave. Great value! Clean and well maintained. No heebie jeebies here! Friendly hosts, decent sized room (there were 5 of us) with the basics. Nothing fancy but was great for a decent night sleep and free breakfast which has everything you needed-juice/coffee/bagels/make your own waffles/yogurt/eggs/pastries. I think it was by the airport because there was plane noise so if you're bothered by that, it may not be good. It didn't bother us, though. We came through here in 2013 and had a great stay; decided to try it again and it's even better. It has all the usual basic needs: coffee maker, microwave, hair dryer, wifi, tv. But it's the beds (so comfy! just the right amount of firmness), the super friendly and accommodating staff, and the decent free hot breakfast-- for a very affordable price--that make it a favorite of ours. We are absolutely going to make sure we always stop at this spot on our trips along the PNW. read more
