From the salad bar I got quinoa salad, endgame, fresh mozzarella , artichoke hearts and a lot of other healthy choices, but there's different breads, pasta, potatoes & soup. The salad bar is not all that spectacular, I have been to other Brazilian restaurants that offer more. As a Brazilian, I was very disappointed by their salad bar. The meat did take some time to come to the table and I thought our selections of meat were very, very limited. We were being offered picanha about five million times. Our server was very sweet, but she spoke very low and we couldn't hear much of what she was saying after we told her we'd never been to the restaurant. Went last evening for dinner just my husband and I. The salad bar was not much to rave about I've been to many other Rodizio and the salad bars are amazing. The meat took some time to start coming around, it was okay not the best we've had. Limited selections of meat not like others we've been to. The server Savanna was very sweet and do a very good job. Not sure we will be back, spending 34.99 a person was on the high end for the limited amount of meat selections and the salad bar that was not as grand as others I've been at a lower price. Maybe I caught this revolving, cavalcade of delectable, tastefully seasoned skewered meats on a good day, Anyone saying it is overpriced should stick to the Golden Corral, where they belong. Without intending to sound condescending, please tell me where one can go to experience an unending troop of carvers, delivering to you table-side, a generous portion of perfectly seasoned beef, lamb, pork, chicken, and Brazilian sausage? Seared medium rare to well done. Not to salty either. To knock Rodizio Grill on pricing is tantamount to wishing it an extinction level event. The likes of which I personally wish never happens. I say this having waited for many years for Brazilian BBQ to appear on the Naples-Ft. Myers culinary scene. It isn't a once a week place to go. For me, 3 to 4 visits a year will satisfy the carnivore not to deep inside of me. As I have dinned at a vast number of Rodizio Grills, Churrascaria, and Brazillian BBQ places up North, the Rodizio Grill, is easily in the top 3rd of places I have been to. Begining with the sides, my experience started in dining heaven. When walking up to the sides buffet, I was greeted by a huge hunk of imported Parmesan cheese in a wooden bowl. I immediately grabbed a chunk and paired it with a medley of what appeared to be assorted Greek olives. Alongside them I spooned in some shrimp ceviche (which was as fresh, and as good as ceviche gets). I couldn't resist adding a couple of spoons of fresh mozzarella and tomato. A couple of small pieces of perfectly toasted bread assumed it's rightful place with my 1st appetizer. The rice and red beans were next and a small helping of Brazilian black bean stew. Still-I was very happy and all this comfort food was overwhelming. I tried a small poraion of various salads, fruit and green. All fresh, and tasty-kudos to Rodizio Grill. I knew I must persevere to endure the waves of meat that were about to land on my plate. The mashed potatoes were great, as was the beef stroganoff, the meats started arriving as I turned my place card to green. As a result of the slow roasting and seasoning process, the rotisserie grilled meats melt in your mouth, satisfying even the most discriminating taste buds. My wife is a well doner, medium rare for me, no problem. They will accommodate all, should one prefer Medium Rare, Medium, or Well-Done. The cuts are thin for perfect tenderness and flavor. As with all Rodizio Grills, Churrascaria, and Brazillian BBQ places, you learn to pick and choose which meats, poultry, lamb, or whatever, will excite you most. I did not try the sausage, chicken hearts, fish, and a few others for example, It was not my 1st time at this style of restaurant. No room for dessert, sorry. Though they looked yummy. Service was a B+, ambiance good, restaurant was very clean, well designed too. It's not if I will go back, it's just a matter of when. Their signature, non-alcoholic lime drink-WOW, under $5. I must admit that the salad bar buffet was excellent. Plentiful, great variety, and delicious but pricey at $26.99. Meat offerings at salad bar were spare ribs in black beans and beef stew, both were flavorful and tender and fulfilled our desire to eat meat. Our friends opted for the full Brazilian. All four of them complained that every cut of meat was tough and chewy. Our friends had us sample some of the cuts and we agreed, tough and chewy. I asked if they had skirt steak, or rib eye, no was the answer. If there was any type celebrant, a crew of waiters would surround you banging a conga drum. After a while, this became quite annoying causing a young child at the next table to wail uncontrollably. Waiters pushing carts around with plastic facsimiles of cakes was anything but upscale. We presented two gift cards valued at $50 each but they would only accept $40 of each card leaving a remainder of $10 on each. The waiter's explanation was confusing and bizarre and became embarrassing in front of our guests. We were six at our table and wine lovers. Ordered two different bottles at $40 each, horrible, very vinegary. Asked to sample some others, equally as bad. Wines we all agreed we'd never heard of. Unbeknownst to us, that this is a large chain restaurant and run like such. Very commercial. Got us once, but never again. P.S. Their suggested tips started at 20% up to 25%. No way! read more

It just may have been an off night this past Saturday Jan 6th. Meat was very tough where even the paper thin sliced pieces could not be chewed. I asked for med rare, and three times the server sliced off the blackened crust with the layer of fat. Over twenty minutes to wait for another server. Seems a table of 4 adults and two children were more important in that dining room then the other three tables against the wall. Even our waitress Amanda stated she has to really take more care with them and apologized for her limited visits to our table where she ignored our request just for the little dish with the three sliced bananas. 30 minutes later we were able to get her attention and ask...her response....Ah hummm.....I won't be returning to this Rodizio. To get a good rodizio style steakhouse in Southwest Florida you should go here. This is the best there is to offer for the area. We went in to enjoy a birthday celebration. Amanda was our waitress. She introduced the style of dining to our first time guest and proceeded to talk about the wines offered. Her selection of wine for the table was great (the Laçador, Malbec)! We loved it! All of the gauchos were kind and listened to our "medium rare" requests. Sergio was exceptionally entertaining and fun. Food was great, was just a little disappointed that there was no New York strip or filet being served. It was a Monday night, which May be the reason why those steaks were not offered. I can understand the place is new but this isn't an excuse to be so disorganised. The tables were on top of each other making it hard to have a conversation . Hostesses looking around to sit us because they didn't have any clue to where sit us even if we had reservation I felt awkward like a walk-in. As soon as we sat at the table there was food from the previous setting (probably?!) the hostess grabbed it and threw it at a co worker at the table aside from us...and said to us: sorry for that...I mean...seriously?! I get it, things may get missed while cleaning but where is the professionalism when dealing with those situations? The server was kind but not very professional. The buffet selection lacked but the meats weren't bad just not a big variety. I hate to compare restaurants but this one seriously seemed like a cheap imitation/version of texas de Brasil ( that I absolutely love). The meat seevers were funny and they tried to give to us an experience but they barely could serve meat between tables due to the small spaces. There was no Lamb until we asked for it and the server said "oh, we bring it out just upon resquest" hmm should I believe this or no?! Well, if this is the case the wait staff should inform guests about it. Came in early before the mislead crowd to be seated eating salad for half hour to make sure you are full before the food. I asked where is the beef ? Not even the manager tried to get extra help for our table. They have turtle service even ordered glass of wine took 25 min to get it after 3 request. If you went to the De Texas Brazil steak grill don't expect the same quality or variety of food severed or fast service. We went for brunch, and overall enjoyed the experience. The meal was a little pricey, but the meat selections were well-prepared, and the service was attentive without being overwhelming. I especially liked the sirloin and the linguica (sausage). My only beef (heh) was that when the waitress presented the dessert tray, she was vague on whether or not dessert was included in the bill (it wasn't) and how much it cost. This was our first experience at a Brazilian steakhouse, and were quite looking forward to it. While we were quickly seated in the veranda (outdoor) area, that began the poor, inattentive and slow service of the server. The grilled meats were great and served promptly as long the 'green' knob was up, and were nicely seasoned and flavorful. The bottle of wine came to the table at a turtle pace, as did the 'sides' which finally arrived when we were almost done. I really love the food; however the price is quite high. I went on Sunday at lunchtime and the price was roughly $35 for each adult. Also my 3 year old was $7. While the meat is delicious there is no way that I can say I ate $35 worth of food. My three-year-old, as usual, took a couple bites of food. The buffet consists mainly of macaroni, pasta salads, and bread. Unless you are able to consume pounds of meat, I'm not sure it's worth the price. No one in my party had alcoholic drinks or dessert, so that did not jack up the price. For three adults and one child our bill was around $125 not including the tip. I have been to many Brazilian restaurants in Florida and finally there's one in Fort Myers. The ambiance is relaxed, the staff excellent. Music is soft bossa nova and not too loud. It is clean and the lighting is appropriate for lunch. Many of the gaucho and staff in general are from Brazil. Our server, Lindomar Freitas, was very accommodating and friendly. Josh and Zoe were very helpful. 3 of the 4 guests ate meat. They especially loved the picanha and chicken hearts. The salad buffet was ok and has a variety to choose from however the lettuce was a little brown. Too many of the salads had mayonnaise and not much raw food options: carrots, cucumbers etc. would be nice to have different kinds of lettuce. No option to build your own salad. The hot food selection is hot. The food that comes to the table is very delicious especially the pão de queijo (cheese bread). The gaucho knew how to cut the meat well. Just returned from dinner at this new restaurant at Coconut Point. Yet another over priced mediocre place. The quality of food was OK but nothing special or different and extremely over priced for the quality....meat was very salty and definitely tasted liked it was pre seasoned at corporate then shipped in to cook. When will they get an actual gourmet restaurant in Coconut Point instead of all of these chains and over priced crap houses! I live in Estero and have been here since the mall opened.
