The address on yelp wasn't correct so I called the listed number to get the new address and I'm glad I did. I was in town visiting for a few days stopped here to get dinner to go, the food was oh so delicious. The oxtails were tender and well seasoned. The jerk chicken had a little heat initially but the more you ate the heat dissipated. The sides were: rice and peas, callaloo, plantains and cabbage. I was visiting Holmes Beach, AMI in December 2024. We found this amazing restaurant driving by it. Our family did takeout one night here. OMG!! The food was on point! Authentic and delicious! It took us back to the US Virgin Islands! The Restaurant is a little hidden off the main Road. The vibe you get going to pick up the food was not far from those on the islands. Food is amazing, customer service not so much. They, for some reason, don't know how to answer the phone. No matter how many times you call. I went about a week ago and I called around 8pm to see if they're still serving food. They closed at midnight so I wasn't sure when they stopped serving. No answer. I called 4 times after that still no answer. I drive all the way over there to go order the food and they want to tell me they closed. It was 845ish when I got there. The grandpa wants to tell me "you should've came earlier or called us to place your order" well if mfs knew how to pick up the damn phone I would've placed an order. This place was amazing!! Came late on a rainy night. Our server, Lovely, was delightful, upbeat, attentive and kept us updated on our food's status ( it took a while to cook). The shrimp kabobs were delicious-almost like a sweet and sour sauce, but tastier and filled with peppers and a good number of decent sized shrimp. We ordered the jerk chicken with coleslaw, plantains and an (extra) side of beans and rice. Fantastic, well cooked and a HUGE portion of chicken. I had the Jerk pork and the Curry chicken plates. I think the meats were pretty solid but I have to rate a 4 because of the Mac and Cheese. As good as the food was the Mac and cheese failed the plate. It was like a velveeta Mac cheese or box. read more
