Food is amazing, customer service not so much. They, for some reason, don't know how to answer the phone. No matter how many times you call. I went about a week ago and I called around 8pm to see if they're still serving food. They closed at midnight so I wasn't sure when they stopped serving. No answer. I called 4 times after that still no answer. I drive all the way over there to go order the food and they want to tell me they closed. It was 845ish when I got there. The grandpa wants to tell me "you should've came earlier or called us to place your order" well if mfs knew how to pick up the damn phone I would've placed an order. Get some better people working here. Maybe younger folks because last time I went here the customer service was amazing but at the same time it was NOT an old cranky grandpa working. read more

It's a rather casual place that is located on a main road which is the reason parking is in back. I dined twice over a two week period and was left with the impression that most patrons order carry out. The rum punch packs a punch. The address on yelp wasn't correct so I called the listed number to get the new address and I'm glad I did. I was in town visiting for a few days stopped here to get dinner to go, the food was oh so delicious. I had the curry chicken with rice/peas and cabbage my son had the oxtails both plates were full with enough for leftovers the following day. I was visiting Holmes Beach, AMI in December 2024. We found this amazing restaurant driving by it. Our family did takeout one night here. OMG!! The food was on point! Authentic and delicious! It took us back to the US Virgin Islands! The Restaurant is a little hidden off the main Road. The vibe you get going to pick up the food was not far from those on the islands. Extremely Chill with Reggae music jamming. We are still thinking about our meal at Rodney's.(back in PA-and it's February 2025) We can't wait to go back and have more good eats from Rodney's!!! This place was amazing!! Came late on a rainy night. Our server, Lovely, was delightful, upbeat, attentive and kept us updated on our food's status ( it took a while to cook). The shrimp kabobs were delicious-almost like a sweet and sour sauce, but tastier and filled with peppers and a good number of decent sized shrimp. We ordered the jerk chicken with coleslaw, plantains and an (extra) side of beans and rice. Fantastic, well cooked and a HUGE portion of chicken.
