Then you have Tac/ Quila, à Michelin guide which maybe the busiest out of them all for dinner. Located right in the heart of downtown along the main strip. All their restaurants are along the main strip and walking distance from each other. There's a parking lot in the back as well as street parking. Heads up, this place is alway packed everytime we've walked by. Reservations recommended. I needed to make reservations for a group of 5 but open tables only allows up to 4 for online booking. We would need to call restaurant for a bigger booking. It's pretty hard trying to get a hold of someone there. Instead we happened to be there for the Villagefest and just walked up to the restaurant to make the reservation. A whole process with that as they needed to get the manager approval for a group of 5. Anyway, it was done. Night of dinner, we were running a couple minutes behind and thankfully we got a hold of someone to give them the heads up. Check in was breeze and the staffs were all amazing and friendly. Hostess, waitress and all the staff were a doll. First time for all of us as we've heard so much good things about this place. It's alway busy everytime we seen this place. They have both inside and outside dining. A converted patio dining along the street was added as well. Our waitress was the sweetest. I didn't get her name through. As it was our first time, she sure did explained everything down to the tee. The menu was quite extensive with the book. A nice selection both for cocktails and wine. An order of the margaritas sampler was had which is pretty much similar to the Clandestino restaurant. They were pretty good but a some was on the sweeter side which was too much for me. Some starters were sheared, the guacamole and salsa and chips. Between the guacamole and salsa which were both good, salsa was the winner. And the ceviche. We went with the mixture of seafood. Shrimp, octopus and fish served in a tower with avocados and chips. That dish was excellent and very flavorful. Highly recommend. As for entrees, their menu does sound really good. A selections of items were ordered. First off the steak fajitas, served with riche and beans. It's not like the usual with the sizzling plate. Portion was quite small, thin pieces of steak with grilled onions and bell peppers. The rice was good and also had a side of guacamole, sour cream and salsa and a side of tortillas. Overall, it was just ok. Nothing major to rave about. Would I get it again, probably not. Then you have their street tacos which are small and served 2 to an order. The birria tacos were nice, very small but good. Also served with rice and beans and the dipping sauce. The short rib enchiladas, with ranchero sauce a blend of Mexican cheese and sour cream. Small portion of two but flavorful. Lastly the stuffed poblano chilies. Pepper stuffed with Oaxaca cheese, calabacitas, tomatoes, onions and sweet corn on top of rice or beans. You could also add a protein. It was good. Overall, the food was good. Ceviche was the winner out of everything we had. Short rib enchiladas come in second. Fajitas was a miss so that probably won't be ordered again. The service was excellent and the staffs were all amazing. The property is beautiful.
