I really wanted a platinum Ford F-150, and I had done my research on this truck everyday for a month. I was nervous and reluctant to purchase such an expensive vehicle ($65k+) from a mazda dealership, but I did anyway. It is never fun nor easy to take your vehicle to the dealership to get worked on. It's even worse not knowing how long they would have the car and what all they would have to do to get it back to the standard that you expect. I'll admit I've had to come to them a few times for various issues, but each time that I have ever come to them I was graced with Paul being my service advisor. Paul has been nothing but courteous and I would even say he us over communicative with me jn reference to my vehicle, and I absolutely love that. He made sure that everything that my warranty spelled out, my warranty was going to fix and or repair. He had my interest at heart throughout the whole process Every time that I've ever been there. I hear all of these horror stories from friends and colleagues about how they just dread having to go take their car in to figure out what's wrong with it and to try to get the work done in a timely fashion. I am blessed to say that I have never had to have that issue, every time that I made an appointment with Paul he made sure that I had a loaner car waiting for me, and he would give me a call at least 2 times a week to keep me informed on what was taking place with my vehicle. I am a very big car person, and because of this I own quite a bit of vehicles. I have a 2019 Mercedes SL550 convertible, a 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe, of course I have my Ford truck, and I also have a 2019 Tesla Model S. I say all that to say that these vehicles that I purchased from those dealerships, with the exception of the mercedes, have not shown me as much care and concern for my vehicles as Mazda has/does and has Paul has spearheaded all of it I've no impossible since pregnant. I have dealt with Paul since the purchase of my vehicle. Even when he might be having a bad day, he never shows it or lets me know. He treats me like I am his ONE and ONLY customer and that his only job is to make sure that I'm happy. And he does a damn good job at that. I have left a few REVIEWS in the past on different companies, good and bad, but I felt like I had to recognize Paul and the men and women that he works with because they go above and beyond. By the way I really appreciate that they send me a video each time in reference to my vehicle showing me recommendations of the next steps as well as showing me that the work that they did and what they had completed I have never received that from any other company and I think that is a very, very, very awesome touch. Keep up with the continued great work that you all are doing, and I hope that people recognize how well you all are at your jobs, but if they don't I will scream it from the rooftops for y'all!!! read more

I unexpectedly found myself in the market for a new car. It had been awhile since my last purchase, as I tend to do a lot of research, and then keep my car. When I walked into Roger Beasley Mazda, Christina helped me. She was super patient as I went through my list and drove 3 different cars. (I had a full list of what I wanted to test drive that day). You know, I had a good experience getting exactly the car I wanted at a reasonable price, so of course I wrote an enthusiastic review at the time. Now, a month and a half afterward I have a different opinion. The car's fine, don't get me wrong. But the support after the sale? Took them one month to send the registration application to the County Tax office. What takes a month to do when the forms are all filled out before you leave? How do I know if took a month? The Tax Office told me. Why does it matter? You can't replace the crummy dealer financed loan with a good one without the registration - an application isn't sufficient. One more thing - the dealer did not apply to have my current personalized plates transferred to the vehicle as they assured me they would. Several times. Why don't I do it myself? I will. Just as soon as I have the registration. Which the Tax Office said might happen. Early. Next. Month. Thanks Beasley. I would have dropped off the registration for you if you told me you couldn't figure out how to get it out of your office for a month. Great car. Crappy support. read more

5 months ago I would have rated 5 stars based on the effortless first, free oil change. Today, I went through a horrendous experience. My battery on my 2022 CX-30 completely drained unexpectedly overnight. My MyMAzda app does a fantastic job of notifying me if a door is left unlocked or open, all lights are automatic shut off. My vehicle will not start unless I am jumpstarted. I took it in and after 4-6 hours later, was assured it was just the battery but it is on a universal back order, then we just stared at one another in silence until I asked, "So what you're telling me is my new vehicle that I haven't owned a full 365 days and is well within warranty, needs a new battery but I cannot have one installed? I will need to go purchase a 3rd-party manufactured battery elsewhere and spend my money when I shouldn't but because I need an operating vehicle and you do not have a loaner currently available?" I had to ask if I could be reimbursed for the purchase, Ashley then went and spoke to a Supervisor who stated I'd be reimbursed in the form of an e-mailed gift certificate...? Had I not asked, I wasn't even going to be reimbursed at all. Not a single string was pulled in my situation. After calling around to Firestones, I then drove around and spent $235 at an Advanced Auto Parts. I had no choice. If I shut my vehicle down, I would need to be jumpstarted to get back up and running. At no point was I presented with, "We do not have a loaner currently available but I assure you I will put you on the waitlist for the next available loaner as we wait for your battery." At no point was I presented with ANY resolution other than buying a battery elsewhere. To add salt to the wounds, I had requested a Supervisor to contact me and when they did, he specifically stated that while they had my vehicle in their possession, Mazda approved for installations on 3rd party batteries because of the universal back order. Their system of communication in the Service department is terribly lacking and it was at my expense. I could have avoided this entire experience. I felt completely unsupported. They truly were okay with letting me leave with a less than a year old, in-warranty vehicle that was not mechanically functional. Terrible experience. Purely terrible for my first Mazda purchase. read more

Beware! I was ready to buy a new car at Roger Beasley Mazda Central. I did my research and found several nicely discounted vehicles on their website. I was pre-approved by their credit department the day before my scheduled visit. When I arrived for our pre-set appointment, they had not yet pulled the car I requested, so I waited. When they were ready for me to see the car, I walked out and I couldn't believe what I saw.... The car had been badly damaged by hail. Do you think the website posting, Internet Manager or sales person I traded several emails with prior to arriving ever mentioned hail damage: NO!!! Why would I spend nearly $30,000 on a hail damaged car. So, they began back pedaling and said we have other new cars on the lot that aren't hail damaged. Don't fall for this sales trick. There are many car buying options out there, so don't waste your precious time or money dealing with dealerships like this one. read more

I'd like to start by saying the experience I am sharing occurred about a year ago, but after sharing it with several other Mazda customers on the UT campus I wanted to bring it online to ensure others can see and adjust their shopping experience accordingly. I have had a Mazda CX-5 since 2018 and bought brand new at Greenway Mazda in Houston. I had seen Roger Beasley for service since around 2019, after getting admitted to UT Austin and moving to Austin. On a road trip about a year ago, a rock chipped my passenger side window, and I went to Roger Beasley for a replacement. I went in with a tinted window and was given a quote for replacement, which I consented to and accepted upon bringing my car into service. When I picked up my car, a non-tinted window was now on the passenger side door, which caused a mismatch with every other window on my car. I asked if it was because I had to pay additional for a tint, but they said that their windows come tinted, and in order to have the window replaced as a tinted window, I would need to go to the original dealership I purchased my car at. I at this point had already paid full price for a replacement of the wrong window and asked if they offered any discount since I will now need to pay full price again for a window replacement, to which they said they offer nothing whatsoever, and I will be needing to go to an alternative dealership and pay full price for a tinted window replacement. After paying several hundred dollars for this window under the assumption it would match my other windows since I am at a Mazda dealership and had never been told otherwise, this was incredibly frustrating. I told them this would be an incident that would lose me as a customer after years of service, and they only apologized and said they could recommend a dealership where I can get a tinted window replacement at full price. It is extremely concerning that this dealership will complete a replacement without checking with the customer about discrepancies like this, or confirming whether or not they will be using conforming parts. I share this story with every person I know looking for a vehicle in the Austin area to deter them from going to this dealership, and as promised, will never go here again. Hope this helps others, because to this day, it will cost me $500 for a new replacement of a window that is perfectly intact, just not tinted, due to their mistake. read more

I came in to purchase a car last Saturday and had a terrible experience. *I originally was working with someone named Simon who was incredibly kind and helpful - this review is not about him. Once I decided what I wanted to purchase, I was passed along to someone named Michael in sales and he was absolutely the most condescending, rude man. He could not have possibly cared less about me - and made it abundantly clear. He was impossible to find - leaving me alone for extremely long periods of time to go and work with other people, and when I would ask where he was he would act SO annoyed and roll his eyes. In negotiations, at one point he just told me 'no' to my question, got up and walked away. He never came back, never said another single word to me - at this point I had been at the dealership for about 5 hours. It was truly bizarre - a real immature, gross man. Like, sorry that I am bothering you and wanting to figure out a way to purchase a car from you! You could, I don't know, pretend to care? Negotiations are normal when you are buying a car, and it is OK for the customer to ask questions - you, as the sales person, should be prepared to answer those questions and should not act annoyed and inconvenienced. Anyways, I went to the Mazda South location yesterday - they had the same car available - they matched my CarMax offer on my trade-in (something Mazda central would not do), let me pay in cash via a wire transfer (something that Mazda central also said they would not allow - I asked twice about this), and I walked off the lot within a few hours with my new car :) - amazing experience. This is a review for service more than the purchase, I felt like the the whole purchase was good and I didn't feel pressured during the whole transaction. This review is for the amazing service department, I dropped my car off for my 3rd oil change and once again they wow me with how good they are compared to dealers I have used in the past. They have complimentary shuttle if you need help getting to work or home, today the shuttle was already out and one of the employees gave me a ride herself. When they work on your car, you get a video of your car on the lift so you can see under it and they point out all the inspection points and any issues they see. Pick up is fast and easy. I had some changes to my account and those were made quickly and accurately. Highly recommend Beasley if you're in the market for a car. I'll buy there again I'm sure. read more

NEVER AGAIN. Absolute worst place to deal with. Customer service is atrocious and the vehicle is junk. Mazda refuses to give a recall for cx5 electrical issues. It's called " ghost touch". ( Google it) my screen changes settings and radio stations all by itself, constantly, while driving. On top of that, I have more electrical problems which caused my cx5 to not start. I will Absolutely never buy from Mazda again. Also, their customer service agents are terrible & rude. Negative 5 STARS. Thousands of people have had this same experience with their cx5.
