Above all else their ability to truly communicate and keep their customers up to date is so helpful and keeps things consistent. Much appreciated. Bruce was extremely helpful getting everything planned and scheduled and Shannon, as always, followed through and kept everything moving along the entire time. There's something special about Roadhaugs that nobody else seems to have and that is they care about their clients and treat them as their own family. Some of the packers that came to pack and load the house were with me on the first move so they knew my things and they knew the routine because I have some unusual and valuable furniture and instruments. The delivery crew that showed up here at the house to drop everything off, totally new to me and I knew none of them when they arrived, but by the time they left, we were all on very friendly terms, and I cannot speak highly enough about them. They were all absolutely magnificent and always are with Roadhaugs. Not only would I recommend them in the highest regard to anyone who has a relocation coming up or even if you need something moved in your home or from one building to another. They move for the Steinway piano gallery in Charlotte, and were recommended to me by another musician and colleague friend of mine who had used them before as well. The fact that they were expert movers, I would even go so far as to say "white glove" movers, makes them even more desirable and trusting ones life possessions and memories with them. Again, I cannot thank Roadhaugs enough and will absolutely use them again should I need to relocate but, at this point, I'm hoping that's not in my future! I have waited a month to write this review and to sit with my thoughts about our recent move. Reign…read morecame very highly recommended to us by several members of our community and friends who had used them. We hired them to pack for us and for the actual move and some aspects of the move were incredible and very professional and others did not go well. The quote and booking process was very efficient and professional and I thought communication from both our team leader, Travis, and from Jason, the owner, was prompt and thorough. I thought my actual moving team was wonderful. We have moved nine times during our marriage due to work relocations as well as personal reasons. The Reign team was highly efficient and the movers did a great job with moving all our furniture, even heavy and more delicate pieces. Things did get a little sloppy right a the end with boxes marked "kitchen fragile" left in the driveway and not all of the packing was logical. It was really very hard to find things because the boxes were not all accurately labeled and didn't have descriptions of what was in them. Some things were just tossed in boxes even if they had been organized in labeled bins in closets of our previous home so unpacking was kind of a disaster. We also had more damaged or just completely lost items than any other move we have ever had. We are missing things like the seat cushion from a chair that is only sold in pairs making it very expensive to replace, the contents of an entire drawer from our kitchen, and then exactly half of the hardware to put our guest bed back together. We then had quite a few things broken - two lamps, a tv, and some glassware. We also had a theft during the move that is currently under investigation with the sheriff's department. We have no plans of moving again but if we were we would consider using Reign for the move itself and I would make sure my valuables were more closely supervised but I would not trust them to pack for me again.

They sent a 3 man crew; Bill, Clint and John who were right on time and were extremely professional throughout the very long move from Charlotte, North Carolina to Palm Beach, Florida. Everything was wrapped secure and tight, they handled my antiques with care. They cared for every item and also paid attention to the clock - they were efficient (when they easily could've lagged or taken breaks) which saved me a lot of money. Once they got to my new home, they did a walk through asking where everything went and got right to work. We accidentally told them the wrong places a couple times and they were very happy to fix it for us with no complaints. They were very slow and steady going through the door frames and they were very careful with our hard wood floors. I moved 35 miles from my last home, and the job was totally complete in under 6 hours. That's arrival, load up, drive to new location, unload, and assemble some furniture that had to be taken apart.
