The brand is well developed and cohesive for a family restaurant. Ricky and his cousins are very friendly and authentic. The menu is easy to navigate and apparently derived from grandma's recipes in Tijuana. All ingredients are fresh including q3hr guacamole. I had the 3 pack of chicken taquitos with a flight of chips. The chips were a bit sparse and so Ricky made up a fresh batch and filled the box to the brim. The queso and salsa are on point. The taco was slightly spicy for my 10 year old. My other enjoyed her corn tortilla wrapped enchilada style taquitos. My wife had shredded beef which she liked a lot. The beans are rice are good but not special. Nothing bothers me more than paying $53 dollars for lunch and they forget to put one of the orders in the bag. So when I got home from Pasadena after driving through the BS 210 shutdown for 45 min and my order is missing I am pissed. I called and left a message with no response from anyone. I guess they are too busy telling other customers if they want to make their food with love to respond. They ripped me off for $18 and I left them a $5 tip. I hate wasting money and being ripped off. I saw this place on instagram and decided to check them out. First off, the staff is so welcoming and helpful. It's a family run restaurant, and they really make sure you feel at home. The restaurant itself is super clean and the decor is nice, which makes it a fun place to sit inside or out. We got their chicken taquitos and carne asada fries, and both were delicious! We rolled into this new spot to grab some dinner last week. The gentleman at the register was very helpful and answered all of our questions with a smile. It was clear that the taquitos are made ahead of time when we told that corn tortillas were available for some taquitos, but not others. We decided to eat there since we didn't want our dinner to get cold during the drive home. We both found the rice to be okay, but it didn't seem to be fresh. Only one person in our small group got the beans and didn't much care for them. They appeared to be runny refried beans - not sure? The taquitos were good - light and not too greasy. The inside appeared to be clean, but it is still new - hopefully it stays this way. Overall, it was a good dinner, but not somewhere we will likely make a point to return to. read more

First time here and i was impressed. We got a warm welcome by the employees and they let us take our time deciding what to order. My father got the 2 taco plate which came with rice and beans, i got the 3 taquitos plate which also came with rice and beans but couldve substituted the sides for an additional charge. Theyre able to do beef, chicken or cheese on corn or flour tortilla which was a lil softer than if it was on corn. You can also mix and match the taquitos if you wanted. I got the beef taquitos on flour since they sold out of the beef taquitos corn flour and it was really good. There was so much good flavor and wasnt dry. The rice is my favorite because it was nice and moist. The beans was good too but i really like their spanish rice it comes with so i would definitely get this plate again. I was told that if i download their app that i would get a free churro donut... It took forever for the app to load the free reward so the worker gave it to me anyway. Came here twice in a row during soft opening. The portion is generous (I am stuffed after the 4 pack 3 would be enough for me but 4 for husband). It's made to order and you can tell the crispiness and the freshness. The sauce is also bomb love the house sauce both mild and lit must get extras on the side! My go-to is chicken with corn tortillas. I got the protein bowl once but you don't get as much also it's kind of meh (the cheese was all congealed and no sauce comes with it also very little veggies and protein). Once inside, I didn't expect much by the menu and I was pleasantly surprised! We ordered the ground beef crunchy taco meal and two taquitos with a side of homestyle guacamole. The taco was super crunchy, fresh and flavorful. The taquitos were also amazing. Cooked to perfection. My husband actually went back the very next day for lunch on his own. He had our puppy with him and the sweet cashier asked if he could give her a chip. LOL I'm sure she would have loved one, but he passed on the offer. The gesture was the kindest thing. Really enjoyed trying this place out! For starters, we were immediately greeted by friendly staff as soon as we walked in, which set the tone for our visit. Despite them being most known for the taquitos, they also offer nachos, salad, tacos, burger, bowl, elote and corn in a cup. What's great is they offer 2, 3, or 4 pack taquito meals and even better that they allow consumers to select from flour or corn tortilla for preference, or mix and match if you're into both. For protein you can choose chicken or beef and for vegetarians, potato! We ordered taquitos and corn in a cup. The GM was onsite that day and allowed us to op for extra rice instead of beans as our side- great because I'm not the biggest fan of beans. The rice was flavorful and fluffy. The taquitos were delicious too- you can also select your spice level, and for mild you can definitely feel the kick! So, despite the taquitos being delectable, I will say they were very soggy, I had to use a knife (they don't carry these on a regular btw) and fork to eat them. Personally, I was expecting to be able to feel the crunch and I didn't get that at all. Could be because we got flour tortilla? But I've had flour taquitos plenty of times and still got the crunch. I am sure texture changed due to taquitos being drenched in sauce? The corn in a cup was a big miss for me ass well because we could barely taste the mayo and tasted mostly melted butter. When the GM asked how we liked it, I shared my thoughts and he remade it, but still, very limited mayo. I did, however really appreciate him remaking it. The customer service was top notch. The GM was friendly from start to finish. I observed him interacting with customers and ensuring their satisfaction. He even offered my cousin a sample of their fresh organic drinks. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I'm not completely sold on the taquitos. Though very tasty (especially that green sauce), I just couldn't get past the sogginess. I live in Sacramento, but if I was in the area again, I would most definitely give them another try with corn tortillas instead. Thank you to the staff at Roll Em Up! The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. We had our pup with us and my daughter tied his leash to the table which then pulled the table with the umbrella attached down. We were able to manage fixing it but a staff member came out and checked on us and wanted to make sure everything was okay. When our food was ready, an other staff member delivered it to our table and noticed our dog. He offered a pup cup to him, which he loved. The food was amazing! We all loved it.
