I haven't been to Roll Roll in years. Everything is so so so yummy. My favorite is the Oh Baby roll. We always order two because be love it so much. The only thing that was a bit strange is that the restaurant was playing gospel music... I didn't think that was particularly fitting but that is more of an ambiance thing.

This is not a good sushi spot. The miso soup is clearly store-bought, and not from a good store. The rolls kept falling apart, and I know how to use chopsticks so I'm not sure who they got rolling the sush but they need a slap on the face for this. I got the salmon skin roll, the shanty, and mackerel nigiri. Aside from the mackerel, everything was just bland, small and nothing special. Like everything just tasted like carnival cruise sushi made in mass. Except for the mackerel. Mackerel is delicious anywhere. My buddy treated me to thank me for helping him out with something, and after the 2 rolls I ordered, I literally didn't want to order anything else, since nothing was all that special, or good really. Also they don't serve sake. How you gonna operate a sushi restaurant and not serve sake?!? Service also sucked. There were 2 sushi chefs and 1 waitress. Since there's no bar to sit at, there was 0 contact with the chefs. The waitress didn't smile once, was hard to get ahold of (which is crazy for a less than 30 seat restaurant) and didn't refill my water once. The total came to just over $60 for both my friend and I, and while writing this review I realized they charged me for a coke I didn't order. Do yourself a favor, don't come here. Instead, walk across the street to Light and Healthy and have AYCE for barely more cash, with alcohol. I left hungry. Will not be coming back.

Roll Roll exceeded all expectations! From the moment we walked in, the incredibly friendly service stood out. We were warmly welcomed and invited to choose our own seats. Almost immediately, waters and complimentary miso soup were brought to our table--a thoughtful touch! The food arrived impressively fast after we ordered, and everything was absolutely delicious. The garlic edamame was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor, the ginger house salad was vibrant and tasty, and the cucumber salad was refreshing. I especially loved the California roll with smelt egg, and the avocado roll was equally amazing. Prices were more than reasonable, especially considering the high quality and the fact that it's in LA. I'll definitely be back for another visit!

If you're anywhere near this place and don't stop in, you're making a mistake. Roll Roll Sushi is that rare combination of warm hospitality, culinary creativity, and affordable excellence that makes you want to gatekeep it--but it deserves to be known. This is a small, family-run sushi spot where everything just works. The prices are reasonable (honestly underpriced for the quality), and the service? Outstanding. The owner--who also serves tables--treats you like a guest in her home. She was so kind and welcoming, especially with our kids, that we left feeling like extended family. Food-wise, the sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Our kids devoured the avocado and California rolls--no coaxing needed. As a self-declared ramen connoisseur, I have to say: the creamy vegan ramen blew me away. It was rich, balanced, and totally unique. You won't find anything like it in your typical ramen spot. Hands down one of the best I've had--and that includes some heavy-hitters in Tokyo and LA. This isn't a trendy, Instagrammable chain--it's better. It's a place where love shows up in the food, and the owner's kindness lingers with you long after the meal. Bottom line: Eat here. Bring your kids. Order the vegan ramen. And thank me later.

I ordered the lobster hand roll and a spicy tuna hand roll. Both were good but I initially went in because I saw a menu on Yelp had said hand rolls were $4. It must have been really old because the hand rolls are now $7 for the "basic" and $13 for specialty. I like that this place offers free miso soup, though. The service was great! I'd definitely go back. The ambiance reminded me of a small diner.

I love going to Roll Roll because their prices cannot be beat. The quality of the sushi definitely isn't Sugarfish-level, but it's good for a Friday night when you're craving sushi and don't want to spend $50+. The service is also wonderful, and their miso soup is complimentary! I tried the udon, and it really wasn't great, so I'll happily stick to ordering sushi next time! They accept Apple Pay and have convenient parking in the lot in front.

Wonderful family owner business. Not an all you can eat establishment but they have different price points at $7, $13, & $18. I got myself a combo box which comes with California rolls and you can choose two items. I chose the vegetable tempura and the egg rolls. The nice thing about this establishment is the Tax is included in all the prices. They also bring free miso soup with all meals ordered and they have free WIFI. What more could you ask for?! The owners were so friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back soon.

The food here was amazing and very delicious. I got the spicy crab roll and the salmon roll as well as an avocado roll. Let me tell you the sushi here did not disappoint. The service was top-notch and fast and they kept on coming back and asking us if we need anything just always great. They have been open for eight years and I don't know how I've never been to this place before, but I'm sure glad I came with my lovely wife on this beautiful sunny day. The ambiance and vibe of the overall place trendy and welcoming. The bathroom is well kept and clean, which is always a plus. There's plenty of parking in the parking lot so you should stop by sometime and try some of their sushi from roll roll you will not be disappointed. I guarantee you. Definitely bookmarking them in my Yelp Account to make my way back here someday soon. 100% recommend this place.

OVER CHARGED ME AND MISSING ITEMS Not gonna order online with them again. Might just do dine in only as when you order online, they have "hidden fees" and adjust your order price on uber eats. Not only did they over charge me for free miso soup that they already give as complimentary, they only gave me 2 spicy mayos when I paid for 4. Little ways like this are how some restaurants steal money from you. Was tricked out of $5 because of this.

I moved out of Ca and craved sushi often. I couldn't wait to visit so my family and I could enjoy their fresh sushi and scrumptious spring rolls. The customer service here is top notch. You are always greeted with a friendly smile and welcoming atmosphere. This establishment is always clean and I like that they have a sink outside the bathroom where you can wash your hands before you eat. P.S. The bathroom is spotless. read more

I ordered the Oh Baby Roll and the Popcorn Lobster Roll and a Thai Tea on Uber Eats. The Thai Tea was ok but was a little too sweet and didn't have a lot of the consistency and depth from condensed milk that I am used to. Maybe it was premixed. The rolls were delicious and the Popcorn Lobster was my favorite. I really enjoyed the bits of tempura crawfish on the outside and the crabmeat inside was fresh and delicious. It was a large portion amount for a roll at that cost as well. The Oh Baby Roll was pretty good but I wished I had ordered two of the Popcorn Lobster Rolls! All in all, it was a filling meal and the sushi was fresh, well packaged and tasty. I will order sushi from them again. read more

One of my go to sushi places in the valley. My favorites to get are the oh baby roll, the eel roll, and the sashimi salad. Their prices have gone up quite a bit like many other restaurants. So the specialty rolls like the oh baby roll are now $14 each. The sushi is consistent and the rolls are still good. Definitely recommend getting the sashimi salad! Usually the service is nice but the sushi rolls can take some time especially if there are other tables being waited. There's only one person working the register as well as waiting the tables so a wait is expected but not terrible. read more

Me and my boyfriend went to check out Roll Roll and OMG this place is seriously amazing!! We ordered 2 premium and special rolls, along with dessert of strawberry tempera ice cream! Sorry roll roll. Just not what I remembered from 5 years ago. If you look at my photos - the fish was much bigger . The fish is tiny. The noodle was hardly edible it was so salty and spicy. And just plain bad. For $15. I wish I sent it back . I did not realize it was gonna be $15!!! For bad noodles !!! Salmon was fresh but again tiny. They wouod be better off giving 2 pieces for $6 rather than 3 tiny pieces for 8. Soft shell crab salad was good. The only item I would ever come here for is the soft shell crab salad but its not enough for me to come back here again. The only way i would and give them another chance if they comp us that pasta ( offer something else ) . We did not tell the waiter because he was so nice , but the chef should know not to put that much salt!! read more

Roll Roll is my go to sushi place. It's also my neighborhood haunt that I visit just about every Saturday when I treat my mom for lunch. Why is it my go to? Straight up, the prices are RIDICULOUS. They're menu of sushi is three blocks for pricing: -First block is basic rolls (i.e. California roll) at 4 bucks -Second block of premium rolls (I.e. Crunch Rolls) for 7 bucks -Last block of special rolls (I.e. Rainbow Roll) is 11. But pricing isn't everything right? As soon as you sit down you get a complementary bowl of Miso soup while you look over the menu. What about for those people in your squad that wanna hang out but don't like sushi? Got you covered. They're entrees feature Teriyaki Chicken or Salmon perfectly cooked with a sweet glaze and comes with a nice salad and rice seasoned with a bit of rice topping. Udon and Ramen also have a home here and also Tempura both mixed and vegetable; not soggy tempura or so breaded you can't taste anything but lightly coated and the vegetables are fresh with the seasons. That's the other point of why this is by far the best, the quality of the fish and ingredients is clear you can taste it. Ever have a roll that was just sort of...okay? Not here, everything is fresh and clean and have a roll for just about everyone's tastes. They'll even do soy wrap on request for an extra cost. Have a sweet tooth? Got that too; Green tea ice cream is sweet with a great matcha flavor but the thing to try is the Banana Tempura. Yes you read that right. Tempura Banana slices served hot with a scoop of green tea ice cream and whip cream. WiFi is free for customers and posted in sight, one bathroom for customers in the back with a second sink just outside the door (one inside the bathroom too). Parking is out front and shared with the other businesses in the complex so watch out for peak times like lunch and dinner. Street parking isn't ample either so plan accordingly. read more

I picked up an order here and the cashier there was rude. She told me to wait outside bc of ' cutomers' when no one was coming in, and it was not busy. They made my order last while she was just making calls on her personal phone. I waited for 30 minutes. read more

Honestly I really like roll roll for a quick and cheap lunch! The menu is simple with $5, 10 or $15 roll options and there is no sales tax at the end which is always a nice surprise. Id say the value for price is really good but it's not the best sushi place in the world. Great for a quick casual cheap lunch! read more

The super baked salmon roll is perfect: I could eat this everyday. The edemame portion for takeout is so small. For $5 I expect more. This isn't my favorite sushi spot but it is affordable and convenient. I do order from this place often so I do recommend. read more

Just in case you're unsure of what they sell here, it's Sushi Rolls. I took a chance on this place as I wanted take out sushi, and it happened to be on grub hub at the time and the price was definitely right. They have a decent selection of items from small appetizers to full out sushi boats and teriyaki boxes. We tried a combination of some rolls on the menu along with the beef and salmon teriyaki. The sushi was good, but unfortunately the teriyaki dishes were a bit cold and dry. Overall I'd like to try them again as I know part of my mediocre review is due to the fact I had it delivered vs. eating it fresh in the restaurant. Hopefully when all this blows over, I'll be able to give them a try in person. read more

I have been basically addicted to the sashimi salad at Roll Roll for an emergency meal. They are so kind and friendly every time. I would eat it every night if I was allowed. For now once a week is the most I can do. But the dressing is awesome. And the service is MORE awesome. Thank You Roll Roll for being the best neighbor!!! read more

I was so happy to come here for sushi. Even during these uncertain times with COVID-19 and our community in such disarray, they have managed to maintain good prices, good quality, and excellent customer service. I was able to order several rolls over the phone and pick them up within 20 minutes. I arrived early and saw their whole process. The workers are wearing masks the whole time. Gloves are n out only always used, but in the ten minutes I watched them work, saw them change gloves at least twice. They are working diligently and very sanitized! The sushi was all very delicious and good quality. I am happy to come again for more. read more

Smaller than usual portions. A roll here is 6 pieces of low grade sushi.. The sushi wasn't cold and refreshing and they really were quite stingy with the amount of avocado on the roll. I definitely won't be coming back here as the one roll I ordered was quite a disappointment. I asked for it riceless and they were accommodating, however, the inside was supposed to come with crab meat and spicy salmon and it's safe to say there was hardly any spicy salmon. read more

Happy hour prices all the time?! Had to give this place a try. We were greeted and seated very quickly and the server brought over our free soups. Miso soup was good, typical basic Miso soup. We came at around 4pm so not a busy hour at all, but the service was so slow. Not impressed! The rolls were truly mediocre with everything tasting like a California roll. But if you're in the mood for a cheap sushi fix- I suppose this is your place. Rolls are tiny - a couple pieces per order. Not my cup of tea & definitely not my favorite sushi spot. read more

Summary: you want some really bomb sushi at really affordable prices? Roll Roll is the spot to be! Food: just awesome... good quality meats! The sushi is just out of this world, especially for the price! And no tax! Does it get any better than that? NOPE . My favorites and soon to be your favorites: Jalapeño Bomb is the bomb ! It'll light you up on your way to heaven! Lol. The other favorite? Oh BABY!!! Yes it's called on baby... perfect name. #42 is a lobster roll (forget the name but pretty awesome and it's hot)...this is the place for some crazy rolls if you that's you thing. Service: spectacular! I've been in here for lunch and dinner and always exceptional... professional service and just top notch. Everybody is simply nice! We could use more nice people in the world like them, especially in today's society with all the drama! Total bipartisanship at Roll Roll! DON'T !!!! Imagine for a moment giving a blacksmith a dull knife and some fish and saying "Make Sushi and Rolls" .. It would be a disaster as this was. I'm sure at sometime this fish was fresh and flavorful.... I couldn't tell you when that was. The fish was cut to thick, uneven and seemed chopped at. The sauces had no flavor. All the food tasted the same which wasn't good. We kept good thoughts and didn't have any ill effects from the food. It took Roll Roll to make me a fan of grocery store sushi and rolls. My opinion only .... You results might differ. read more

Very crunchy nori wrapper and good rice to fish ratio. For our sushi we started with chu toro tuna, salmon belly, and halibut. Super fresh melt in your mouth quality. Halibut was interesting with the truffle, first time definitely won't be the last. We ended it with red snapper and black snapper. Absolutely amazing, I think the black snapper or the red snapper was slightly charred. It was so good. To say the least, this restaurant was worth it!

Right after our food was served, one of the servers came by to ask if everything was ok and if we needed anything. We said no. Shortly after, the server dropped the bill at our desk. Mind you, we were not even close to finishing our meal. I understand there are other customers waiting for a table but you shouldn't be rushing the customers currently eating. Over the past year or so, we've come to appreciate Alex, who always makes sure our meals are delicious. The restaurant itself is temperate and not too loud with plenty of space between tables/booths. The music playing is not too loud and allows for conversation to flow. They upgraded their ordering system to a tablet-based system a while ago, which has greatly streamlined the ordering process. If you're looking for recommendations on what to order, I highly recommend trying one of the AYCE options and ordering the lemon pepper salmon nigiri (I order at least 50 pieces of it every time!). Simple, balanced, and incredibly satisfying. The pan-fried pork buns were the only disappointment. The filling felt underseasoned, and the bottoms lacked the crispy crust I was hoping for. They were fine, but not something I would order again. The beef noodle soup was solid. The broth was excellent, with a depth of flavor and spice profile that I really enjoyed. I don't get all the hype about this place. It is cheap,but small portions is why. Parking sucks and it's kinda like the McDonalds of sushi. It works for a quick fix that won't tax your wallet. I'm obviously missing something appealing about this place. If these reviews were based on value per dollar, I could understand the 4-1/2 star rating. Comparing this place to a good sushi bar is like comparing apples to oranges..... there's no way that is 4-1/2 star sushi. It's exactly what you pay for.... cheap prices...... cheap food. Just because the taxes may be presented as no tax, doesn't mean you're not payin em. You just don't see them categorized as tax. But, he's doin something right, just not my kinda place. read more

This place is very good. The food is satisfying. The owner is welcoming and friendly. Great environment. $3 rolls; they're smaller then most, you get 8 pieces, are tasty and they're worth $3. They r worth the price. Do not expect royalty for $3. Ok you other yelp reviewers? I pay $3 and I get $3 value. I do not get a large roll for $3 and that's fine. $6 roll, delicious, bigger size (average) and worth the price. Pay $6 and you get $6 value in sushi. I haven't had the $10 roll; I should. They give a free soup while you wait. The servers r attentive. Quickly served food and good tasting. Perfect value for the inexpensive sushi. Dinner was coursed out and I was astonishingly full at the end of it all. I recently had sushi at this amazing spot and was thoroughly impressed. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the presentation was beautiful. Each piece was crafted with care, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The rice was seasoned just right--not too sweet or vinegary. I ordered for lunch thru grub hub app. I ordered a basic roll with soy paper and seaweed salad for the side. I opened up the bag and everything is a mess and everywhere. The presentation was rushed and the rolls are coming apart. Whats worse is the sushi doesn't even taste fresh. The seaweed salad is barely there as well. There is barely a serving. What a shame. This is THE BEST sushi spot in the valley in my opinion. Ive been going here for years and I'm always satisfied. My favorite roll is the 911 roll and the garlic edamame. The free miso soup is always a plus! Quick staff and clean restaurant with outdoor seating. Awesome. read more

The food here has to be the worst sushi I have ever had! It got me sick for three days. I would not eat here and I don't recommend you eat here is you don't want to get sick and miss work. I will be reporting this place too the health department as well. read more

Roll Roll is my all time favorite place for a quick Sushi run...the owner and staff are so nice and the food is consistently great. As a Realtor, I eat "on the road" alot. I always enjoy stopping by Roll Roll for a great lunch. read more

Favorite sushi place when in the area. Got greeted with a free miso soup. Selection is very affordable and fresh. Love the 911 and Salmon Lover!! Would have given 5 stars if decor was nicer. Red-bean ice-cream is awesome too!! read more

The sushi rolls were tiny and bland. The waiting staff was horrible, it took 15 minutes for us do get menus and another 10 to order drinks. Each roll was the size of a pebble and was not worth the price. read more

I don't think there is a roll I don't like here!!!! I've been here about 4-5 time in like 2 weeks that's how good and fresh it is. Even my kids love this place good owner good help awesome sushi read more

It is very Crowded but the quality of the food is good and the price is cheap compare to other places. I waited in line to order and i had to wait for 20 min to get my food but it was worth it. read more
