The rolls are pretty big but the are not wrapped very tightly and kind of fall apart. I would either want to the price to be $1-$2 dollars cheaper or I want a good wrap on the rolls and a little more flavor. Salmon Special Roll- Pretty good but I would recommend that you order with no cream cheese. Rainbow Roll- Was decent but the shrimp part was sliced so thin you could almost see through it. So many other places spicy tuna lacks any sort of spice but Jo & Go Houses' was on point! The quality of their fish is amazing. Best albacore I've had from a takeout sushi spot ever. I ordered the albacore tanji roll and a spider roll. They both came with miso soup. The packaging for my to-go order was also very neat which I appreciated. It felt like they really care about the food they are putting out. You would look at this place and not assume its as bomb-diggity as it is. What a tasty little secret! Great customer service too. The sushi rolls are big, and the bowls even more so. I recommend the salmon bowl if you just want salmon sashimi over rice. You get a lot of salmon. If I want something lighter, I get the hwedupbap bowl, which is essentially a sashimi salad. It comes with a side of white rice, gochuchang sauce, and miso soup. For rolls, I like the Dragon Roll and Rainbow Roll. This is the perfect place to pick up lunch or dinner on your way home. Call ahead to place your order, and food is ready in 10-15min. They're super nice and very patient while we look over the rolls. ALSO. Do not sleep on the simpler rolls like the Philadelphia Roll & Mexican roll. They're hearty and well priced! The rolls came with miso soup too! This takeout spot is located in the supermarket, no seating (the guy selling chicken bites next door gets mad if you sit in his chairs, even if you buy chicken). My favorite is a dragon roll which includes big cuts and the shrimp inside the rolls instead of crab meat imitation. The price of $15 is great and worth it. The service is fast and dragon roll took like 10 mins to make. The flavor is very good, the rice is properly made, everything cooked well. And it comes with a miso soup as a bonus. The seatings don't exist so it's more of a "to go" place. The ambience doesnt exist as well cause this is a the "hole in the wall" type of place but korean grocery store is great and has a lot to offer. If you're looking for a quick bite to satisfy the sushi craving, this place is good for the price and quality. My go to orders are usually the Philadelphia Roll and the Dragon Roll. Sometimes I'll also get the Salmon Bowl as well. You get what you pay for. The quality isn't spectacular and the rolls kind of fall apart when you pick it up with chopsticks, but it's still good. The Philadelphia roll has cream cheese and salmon inside but for some reason it's never wrapped tight enough that it's always falling apart when I pick it up to dip into soy sauce. The dragon roll is a California roll that is topped with eel and avocado and on the sweet side with the sauce. I've also had their Hawaiian roll which doesn't seem to be the freshest, but never gotten sick, and the Sashimi salad which was mixed greens with chopped up sashimi. Orders always come with miso soup which is a tad too salty for my taste buds, but it is free. Located inside Greenland Market. Service has also been really nice and you can call in your order to avoid the wait. Closed on Sundays. read more

Did you know that Korea and Japan has very low death rates for COVID cases? With that said, but probably makes NO difference living here in America, my sushi chef didn't wear gloves when assembling my food! I still ate my Albacore roll tho ....lol, and live to tell -so that's why I had to dock a star. I occasionally buy a roll here, if I'm around the neighborhood for lunch and when avoiding fried and/or fast foods. Fish is usually fresh (rarely you'll get a 'fishier' piece or two) and rolls are made generously. I've tried several rolls here and I'm a fan of the Rainbow Roll and Albacore Roll. Don't let the fact that this place is inside a market disuade you. I've been wanting try them for a while and today was the day. I was immediately impressed when I got home and saw the rolls, but first let's start with the service. Pleasant and you you can tell they take pride in what they offer and are really sweet. The prices are fair for the size of the rolls, in fact it's a bargain, but they don't skimp on quality! I ordered the Angie roll, salmon skin roll, and the Philly roll. The rolls are great, made to order and I really appreciate the little touches like a free miso soup with the special roll that was tasty, plenty of seaweed and with an actual soup spoon. The rolls were big and the fish fresh! The salmon skin roll had nice portions of salmon skin make perfectly. The Angie roll was really good with lots of avocado, they really don't skimp on there ingredients unlike other sushi spots. We came across this place after our normal sushi place was closed for a few days for the holidays. I've been to Greenland market a number of different times and noticed that there are a few different spots where you can place orders, mostly for pick up. We decided to give it a shot, and I'm so glad we did. Sushi was so good, they gave us some complementary miso soup, and the portions were big. The cute Korean lady who was taking our order looked like she was also making all of the sushi rolls. She was so nice and super efficient. There used to be a sushi place on Saticoy next to H. Salt that had the best sushi I had in years. Unfortunately he closed. I have been to a few in the area since then and they are middle of the road. I decided to go to Ralphs tonight to get some sushi. The girls wanted it too so I decided to go to a sushi house. I decided to search and I happened to see Jo & Go House. I didn't look at any reviews but decided to go there since it was close. I ordered 5 rolls. They made them pretty fast. When I picked up the bag, the first thing I noticed was the weight. I saw they gave complimentary miso soup, but I knew it wasn't that. One of the rolls I purchased was the Albacore roll. I was shocked when I saw it. The pieces of albacore on top of the roll were about at least twice as large as I have ever had and twice as thick too. I was stuffed. I never made it to any of the other rolls but they all looked delicious. The girls were happy too. They loved it. And, it is just not the generosity of the portions, the prices are incredible. Premium rolls always have premium prices. They are the best priced rolls I have seen in the valley. Great food, great prices, this is my new sushi place. Thanks Jo & Go House! read more
