Rollin Fresh is one of the coolest food trucks in all of PDX. The sushi burritos are fun, well prepared, and tasty. They are also located inside of Hawthorne Asylum which is one of the best. I know a lot of people might think twice about sushi from a food truck, but I assure you that you have nothing to worry about with Rollin Fresh. Just ROLL with it and get their sushi burrito.

I love a good sushi burrito and Rollin fresh hit the spot with an amazing and unique experience! The salmon skin was such a treat, and something I've never had in a sushi burrito before. We enjoyed the excellent service (friendly cashier) and the beautiful mural which covered all of the interior walls. Would definitely come back to try more

Rollin Fresh is a different take on sushi. It's well priced and bigger than a hand roll. Whether you order a signature sushi burrito or a deep friend sushi burrito you get to choose to have it as is or in a bowl. Since it was our first time we chose to experience it as is. I would recommend it, no pressure. Lol. Order was the City of Roses, it tasted neutral, a little tangy, and had fishy flavor to it. It has a crunch to it tempura shrimp and jalapeño crisp. Also ordered was the deep fried Fresh prince. The taste reminds me of a Godzilla roll without the spiciness. The Teri-aioli it comes with is savory and a good combination with the fresh prince. It tastes like peanut sauce. We got a couple sides too, edamame which was just edamame lol. It needs a little more salt but was fine. My favorite thing, and I highly recommend ordering it was the salmon skin chips. It's exactly that salmon skin but fired until extra crispy. Super good, and crunchy. It goes really well with the blazin salsa. I'll say nothing was as spicy as it sounds. I would say out of a 10(that being super spicy) it was a 2. Parking was easy to find. It's part of a building where there's 2 other food spots, so there's options for parties. The customer service wasn't fancy or great but that's fine. There is plenty of seating and easy to get a spot. The whole location is cute, welcoming, and friendly.

I mostly wanted to post a review to post the good photo of the menu I took. Still trying out their menu items. Nice outdoor seating area

City of Roses * flavorful where the fish are, small portion, cute seating

Ambiance was on-point with a large covered patio shared by multiple eateries. Portion was small but both orders were flavorful and fresh. Plus the cashier was really nice.

We stopped by this area because it was close to our Airbnb and I'm so glad we did! I ordered the En Fuego and spam musubi and both were delicious. The service was great, they bring our your food wherever you are seating and it came out pretty quick. The lot was pretty empty when we went so there was plenty of seating.

I was getting some work done down the street and saw this place and decided to try it while I wait. I walked in, I know they saw me walk in, but I was kind of looking at the menu and the soda machine, but no one came out or said anything. I continued to wait and then saw a bell on the counter for service. So I thought okay, maybe you need to ring the bell so they know you are ready to order? So did, and continued to wait, I should've walked out. Then I finally heard someone say they'd be out in a moment. They came out and I made my order. The guy was nice when he came out, but it was really off putting that I had to wait as long as I did with not even a verbal indication that they would be out. It didn't take long for my order to come out. The food was just okay, not the best I've had. I did really like their pineapple soda though. I doubt I'll try coming back.

Dined here a couple of times for lunch. Beautiful eye catching mural walking in. Nicely modeled spacious outdoor seating shared amongst the neighboring restaurants. Service ~ displeasing. Both times no greeting, no smiles. Could not even get a suggestion what to order. Took a long time to make despite having no customers ahead of us. Really made the overpriced burrito distasteful to eat. They need to take some lessons from the Friendship Kitchen next door.

Yo... I literally come here all the time because I like the convenience but tonight your staff was standoffish and to be honest a little rude. Tried handing me all items that I ordered for me to just carry- I had to ask for a bag and then let me bag it myself-- which is honestly no big deal but then I got my food and what is this?? You charged me for 2 full musubis but gave me 1.5?? I had cash tip in my pocket but ended up taking it with me. NOT COOL. I hope it's just an off late night.

I am addicted to the deep fried Bridgetown sushi burrito. Had it 4 times now at 3 locations. This Glisan location most recently did the best job being super generous with the fillings. And could actually taste the spiciness of the tuna for the first time because they put a lot. The new Carreta location was disappointing as far as how much they packed in of the fillings, but still, they are always delicious. And the Teri-aioli is so good, and makes the dish. I really want to try other stuff but I'm low income and always afraid I'll get something that I don't like or lets me down. But one of these days I gotta venture further into the menu. Have had the Gold Rush once and was very tasty. It's seriously insane how much I have this place on my mind and think about splurging. I would definitely recommend getting an extra Teri-aioli. So curious to try the soft shell Spidey Sense as I've never had soft shell crab, but would have to forgo the habanero aioli. Thank you for filling me with joy everytime. You make me smile and I can't lie, moan.

Awesome Poke spot that serves tasty bowls with fresh fish! I can't remember which bowl I got but it had yellowtail, tuna and salmon and it was fantastic! The guac was great and their rice is so good! The Sea V Chay should definitely be ordered. Good portion and flavors. Love this spot and will order again when I'm in town!

Located in a very poppin neighborhood, this branch has a fun and casual vibe. Order for pickup was made in a timely manners. Food was fresh and tasty. Portion size was decent as well. It's a little different from your typical poke place in that there is not make your own option but their selections/combos are creative enough to entice you. I enjoyed the En Fuego Poke Bowl with Spicy Tuna, Spicy Salmon, and Tempura Jalapenos. Interesting inclusion of guac but it sort of worked. Love the kick and heat that built up quite a bit. Not a bad poke at all! Would really love to have a 1/2 salad 1/2 bowl option.

El En Fuego made wrong again. Not ok.

I think the price tag of $100/person can initially be steep but you can easily spend this much on these nicer orders. I was also worried they might drop the quality during the AYCE portion but it continued to be delicious and service was consistent throughout (there was another group of 13 people so service was a bit slow having to divide time between the rest of the restaurant and them). Really easy to do since they had such an extensive menu with just about everything from appetizers, tapas sashimi, hand rolls, nigiri, fried items, sushi ROLLS, ramen/noodles, and skewers! Highlights were definitely the: -otoro (5 pcs ~$25) -salmon medley (salmon belly and 3 other cuts) -scallop nigiri -karaage (5 pcs for $8.99) *pro tip to add their house negi sauce $1 or spicy mayo $0.50 -agedashi tofu (fried tofu) -wagyu beef skewer $8.50 -citrus YTG roll ($15) so refreshing with hamachi (yellowtail), tempura flakes, and a house jalapeño ponzu sauce ! I might try for the Alaskan roll next time considering it was hard to identify the scallops in the baked roll but still kinda tasty if you're into the warm baked rolls! I was unfortunately really wanting to taste the scallops! Overall we had a great time! Service was nice and attentive! The drinks were really affordable and generous too! With a combined 115 years of experience this restaurant shines with what feels like authentic sushi. We were there with a group of four and were seated promptly for our reservation at 5:45 PM. Service was average, but the food more than made up for it. Because of that first experience, we decided to place a fairly large takeout order for a family dinner last night. Big mistake. We were told the order would be ready in 30 minutes. We arrived on time only to discover they had not even started preparing it yet. The explanation was "a computer issue," but nobody called us to let us know there would be a delay, and no real apology was offered. By the time we finally got the food, we were already late for dinner and had to head straight home. When we opened the bag, the nigiri had been packed so poorly that everything was jumbled together in a heap. We literally spent 10 minutes trying to reassemble the sushi ourselves. What disappointed us most was the way management handled the situation afterward. We called expecting that a restaurant positioning itself as upscale would want to make things right. Instead, the manager argued with us, reviewed security footage, and claimed that because we briefly checked the bag at pickup, the order must have been fine when it left the restaurant. We checked that the boxes were there -- we did not open every container because we trusted the restaurant to package the food properly. The bottom line: the dine-in experience may still be worth it because the food itself is genuinely very good, but based on our experience, order takeout at your own risk.
