Another DC work day, another food truck to try for lunch! This truck was out with several others and sounded tasty so decided to try it out. I went with the sausage and pepperoni pizza with the addition of onions. If you like thin crust, this is your place! Crust had nice texture. The sausage was mild, not spicy and flavorful. Pretty large personal size; I was surprised at the size of the boxes coming out. Definitely bang for your buck. Considering how long the line was, the wait wasn't that long; this place was cranking out pies! Moving a lot faster than a couple of the surrounding trucks. Guy at the window was friendly; even cracked a couple Harry Potter jokes when he saw my bag. I wasn't expecting much from food truck pizza, but was pleasantly surprised; I enjoyed it. read more

Blows the other pizza trucks in DC outta the water! The pepperoni is way superior and Hawaiian isn't bad either. Haven't ttied the rest yet, but the Buffalo Chicken is really popular. Four stars just because they have the potential to get even better! The pizza itself (as depicted) is enough for one hungry person, or split between two that are just looking for smaller portions. Made to order pizza on a food truck. I ordered the sausage and mushroom pizza. The crust of the pizza is very thin so if you're a thin crust kind of person definitely try this truck. The sausage is very flavorful, not spicy and there is a hint of fennel. The pizza also had caramelized onions which gave a sweetness from the onion. The pizza probably took only 10 minutes to make which is not bad for a food truck. The pizza felt like it was missing basil. If you can add basil it would bring a more fresh taste. read more

Okay, so I came here wanting a great lunch and vegetarian. I ordered a margherita pizza. It came in a pretty large box and it was done in 5 minutes. I was shocked and thought for $10 in DC at lunchtime, you can't beat that. When I got to my office I was shocked. The pizza was small and it had barley any cheese on it. The basil that was on it looked like it was bad. The crust was good, but I don't count that as a complete lunch. I asked the lady that took my order if they had arugula (which was shown on a pizza on their web site) and she had no idea what arugula even was. Highly disappointed with the food and the service in general. This was an example of "you get what you pay for". I'll definitely just pay a bit more to get a better lunch and service. I'd recommend staying away from this truck. read more

Pizza was cooked perfectly. I had the Meat Lovers (Pepperoni, Sausage, Bacon, Mozzarella, Tomato Sauce) and added Red Onion and Mushrooms (Free of charge). The quality of the ingredients are just okay. The sausage was not that great but the pepperoni and bacon was good. The wait for the pizza was normal 10 minutes or less it was pretty fast. The only con was that the pizza could of used more tomato sauce. So as far as Food Truck pizza goes its decent and for $9 I would try it again. read more

The first time I tried their pizza, I ordered the Buffalo Chicken, and it was tasty. After the first bite, I knew I wanted to try the menu out. The second time, I ordered a veggie pizza. He told me they were out of artichokes. I asked him to put banana peppers on the pizza in place of the artichokes. They didn't and some fresh green leaves topped the pizza. It was okay. I always see a long line for the Rollin Pizza truck outside my office in DC... First (and last) time getting pizza from a food truck. Poor customer service: I asked what the pizza in a pic on the side of the truck was, and they guy said "doesn't matter, we don't have it." Coooool. Poor pizza: When I put my glasses on, I actually noticed that there was, in fact, some resemblance of cheese on the otherwise scorched piece of bread and lukewarm canned tomato sauce. Ordered the "margherita" pizza, which, ironically, wouldn't even be 3/5 if I were 3 margaritas deep. Fresh made to order, great ingredients (the cheese alone is so good), and relatively inexpensive for the high quality. 1st impressions are everything and they absolutely won me over when I went to them a little over a month ago. I felt that the pizza was better than some pizza spots in the area. My coworker and I stalked this truck anticipating the return of the truck. Customer svc was good and food was delicious!!! Until today, a totally different experience. I was so excited they were in the area but after this encounter I will never return. Rude customer service, the gentleman at the register caught an attitude about me asking for red peppers and Parmesan cheese. Then he forgot my soda and wanted to give me a hard time about what time of coca cola I wanted. "He said there is two different types....I said yes I know but I didnt ask for Diet I asked for regular cola and had to literally point to the can. I ordered a BBQ chicken pizza when I opened the box it appeared as if hot sauce was added instead of BBQ sauce and I noticed the chicken on the pizza looked rather pink. But I figured it was due to the sauce. After trying a small piece of the chicken. It was not cooked. Highly upset I walked back to the truck and said the chicken is not done. He talks to one of the assistants and I had to explain to her pink chicken means not done. I just requested my money back. Yesterday, Rollin Pizza D.C. catered our work event for 150 people. I was extremely impressed with the speed and quality they were able to get the pizzas from the oven to the table. They didn't miss a beat. Everybody was extremely satisfied with their pizza and many people asked for them to come out again. They were also very professional and accommodating.
