Came in on a Saturday afternoon to try the place, it was around 2:00 and there was no one in line. The service was decent but i was disappointed they were out of burnt ends, instead i opted for the brisket and pulled pork with a side of baked beans and collard greens. It all ended up costing 16.00 $ or so with no drink. I got my plate within 5 minutes, and was excited to try it based off all the good reviews they had. The collard greens were good, and the baked beans were a little sweet and tasted like some I've had from a can before. The pulled pork was okay but not especially juicy or flavorful. The Brisket was the best part of the plate and was a lovely tender bite with a deep smokey flavor that lingered in your mouth and complimented the meat taste without taking from it. I tried their BBQ sauces and the spicy one was by far the best. What made it 3 stars instead of 4 was the serving size for value. After finishing off the plate in 10 mins, i was still pretty hungry. I felt like i would need two meet plates in order to be full, and if they just would put a little more meat on the plate would make it worth the price, however they were very skimpy with their meat which added no value to their BBQ. overall based on flavor the brisket is one of the best i have had but will leave you feeling hungry due to small portioning on meat and sides. read more

Texan stuck in CO. This BBQ is best ive had in all of Denver area. Ive tried it all over Denver, Aurora, DTC, west, etc. Geogia Boys in Longmont is best in CO, but these guys know what the heck they doing. Nice job fellas. The burnt ends & brisket. Two thumbs. Every meat here is amazing. You must try the collard greens... they are so flavorful! The bbq sauce is wonderful and so is the Mac n cheese. I haven't tried the chili but I did hear it's completely unique and has won awards! Favorite bbq in town. read more

Inside the Stanley Marketplace. Shared a 3 meat, 2 side plate with my boyfriend. We got the pulled pork, hot links, and ribs with Mac & cheese and baked beans. They have two sauces, regular and hot, next to a container of pickle chips you can help yourself to. The pulled pork was ok, kind of dry by itself but pretty good with the hot bbq sauce. The hot links were delicious, as were the ribs. You really can taste a smoky flavor with the ribs. The Mac and cheese was some of the best I've ever had. And the baked beans were average, good but nothing really special about them. read more

I ordered food for pick up and little did I know that when you place an order on Yelp that they will not cook your order until you arrive. I received my lunch I ordered two meals. One brisket plate and one 3 meat plate, each meal had different sides that didn't come with the order I placed. When I got home and ate my food, the brisket was flavorless, pulled pork was also flavorless and the smoked turkey was decent but still flavorless And that was only because I had to add their barbecue sauce on their food to make it taste good. The mac & cheese was actually delicious and so was the smoked baked beans, the potato salad lacked all flavor. Unfortunately I had high hopes as I haven't had any barbecue since I've lived in Colorado for the past year and I was really craving it. $40 and a tip down the drain. I unfortunately will not order from here again. Rudy's BBQ in the springs is where it's at. Next time I'll take the time do drive out there and enjoy my meal. read more

Rolling Smoke is amazing for what they are working with. The brisket and chili typically sell out each day, so if you want to try it get there before 5:30 pm or earlier to be safe. I really like their mac&cheese as a side, and of course the chili is amazing. The smoked turkey was done very well and the sausage was good. However, if your going to go here then get the brisket, you can get good sausage most anywhere. The staff are friendly and it's in the very fun setting of the Stanley. read more

I received Friendly, Professional customer service when i visited Rollin' Smoke BBQ on a Saturday night. FINE quality...skimpy portions

My office is located just across the street from the Stanley Market Place. I was working late and decided to give this place a try. I shelled out 13 bucks for 3 ribs and a side of potato salad. The potato salad was lack luster. It was actually a bit on the bland side, so why the five star rating? The ribs! The meat was smoked and seasoned to perfection. It was plentiful on the the thin bones. I could have eaten it without any sauce, but that would have been a shame because I love a good barbecue sauce. They nailed it with their sauces... the spicy and the mild versions were simply delightful! I would have loved to pay a few bucks less, but I will spend with them again. Good job! read more

Just serviceable BBQ, nothing here is unique. The sausage just seemed like a gourmet sliced hot dog. The brisket was moist but had little flavor. The beans tasted like they came from a can and nothing unique was done to them. Place will probably do ok catering to the current clientele, but I'm going to hold out for Owlbear or Smōk, both of which make fare superior products. read more

I've been to a few different rolling bbq places in Denver, and Rolling Smoke BBQ simply smokes the competition. Had the brisket: tender, juicy, with a great smokiness to it that wasn't too overpowering. The beans were solid - the green chiles in the beans are a nice touch. The mac and cheese is wonderful, also nice and smokey. Service is brisk and the array of sauces is a great touch. Hooray for BBQ! read more

Definitely the worst burnt ends I've ever had. We had a good time here at the station 26. But food was disappointing, got charged 12 bucks for three chunks of "burnt ends" - a.k.a big chunk of unchewable fat. Will never get any food here again. read more

Love their tender brisket, love their spicy sausages, loooove their burnt ends (when you can get them, they won't serve them unless they're perfect) and I love their baked beans and smoky collard greens. But the BEST thing on their menu is the mac and cheese! Their mac and cheese is exactly how I like it - not saucy but stringy, gooey and extra cheesy! It's a total gut bomb and I mean that in the best way possible. My husband tells me if I double the amount of cheese in my own recipe, it will come closer to Rolling Smoke's version. Probably best if I stick to the single servings at this truck. Always happy to see these guys parked outside of my favorite breweries. read more

Ordered the 3 meat plate, with ribs, brisket, and hot links, and was seriously underwhelmed. Hot links were fine, nothing special. The brisket had no crust and was kind of tasteless. The ribs were very dry, with the meat still stuck to the bone - it took quite a bit of effort to even bite. Hopefully just an off-night for them, but I'll stick to Post Oak and Owlbear for the good stuff. read more

Visited Stanley Marketplace today. Always a pleasurable time. Never been to this bbq joint, but I can say I have now and I experienced the rudest individual at a food counter I've come across in a long time. Skinny white guy. Short hair. Glasses. red billed baseball cap with an 'A' on it. My girlfriend went up to the counter, he says 'and what do you want?' I'm sorry but that's rude. No hello? No what can I get for you? He took her order and walked away. We kindly asked for a receipt. He came back and printed it out and tossed it to her. Literally tossed it. We then noticed that he kept our change on the receipt. When our number was called to the counter, we mentioned the change. We were scoffed at then ignored. I don't see how they can have this individual running such a high traffic environment with kids and family when he acts like that. The bbq was okay, but I won't go there again because of him. I'm tired of rude people. No other vendor at that marketplace has treated us like that. Owner has been non responsive to my complaint. read more

This place is awesome we ordered the three meet plate with burnt ends, brisket and sausage. The sausage was tasty but not the standout. The brisket was solid. The burnt ends were the star of the show. Tender and juicy. Sides were coleslaw and Mac & cheese. I usually don't care for restaurant m&c because it always taste starchy, not here it taste like cheese the pasta is just the vehicle for the awesome cheese the coleslaw was also solid. I live down the street and have been back a couple of times already. We love this place. read more

Cheap looking place. Soft drinks are on the floor in a styrofoam cooler, and they were out of diet coke. Meat was ok, Rib City, even though it's a chain is 100 times better. But $12-13 for a sandwich with a side is just too much- the comparable pulled pork at Jim and Nick's (2 miles away in Northfield) is $7.50 to $10, with or without sides. The people here are nice, the barbecue is good, it is just overpriced, which seems to be a pattern at Stanley Market. Maybe the overhead is high there? Just left there for lunch. Had the brisket sandwich which was piled high with fantastic smoked brisket. The spicy sauce was just "hot" enough to not over power the smoke and brisket flavor. The people at this place are cookoo for coco puffs. Going here to very pay period, my coworkers and I like to enjoy bbq. On frequent occasions, the sweet tea isn't sweet at all. To make matters worse, because of the quality of the meat, I still politely attempted to tip, and in the heat of the moment, the cashier believed I took money out of the tip jar. Not noticing that he thought that, I continued to order a sandwich with an additional side, and as I took out my card, I had a few lose dollars in my wallet still, and that's when the long blonde haired cashier proceeded to ask me "Did you just take money out of there?!" Frustrated and blindsided I said no I didn't, and continued to put that excess cash as well into the tip jar to diffuse the situation, which only made it seem even more suspicious, and when I answered "No, I didn't." He continued to assume I stole a dollar, when in reality I had tipped $4 by this point. Frustrated and being accused, I expressed my frustration with the belief that after ordering a $13 sandwich, and getting an extra side and sweet tea, that he would accuse me of stealing. After paying with my card I tipped ANOTHER 20%, giving them over $5 in tip, and being accused of stealing. THIS WILL BE THE LAST TIME I EAT THERE. read more

Rolling Smoke BBQ was an average barbecue spot at Stanley's in Aurora. I ordered their beef brisket, spicy sausage, coleslaw, and potato salad. My plate of beef brisket as well as sausage seemed drier than it should have been. For a two-choice meat plate priced at $21 (inclusive of a drink and two sides) it wasn't worth my money. Customer service could also be enhanced with a friendly greeting and a "thank you" after the purchase was made. read more
