My friend and I were craving some boonshik. They give you side dishes and a bowl of soup. We ordered a couple set: spicy rice cake, kimbap and chicken cutlet. We added cheese on our spicy rice cake and got spicy tuna kimbap instead of rolly kimbap as an add-on. They charge extra for it, but it was so worth it. It was delicious and the service was great. They have a restroom and tables for a dine-in option.

Top notch food. Came in on a Tuesday night, literally no one was sitting down but there takeout was popping. only two owners/workers and service is quick. overall area had four tables but we were the only ones and my kids are loud and it didnt bother anyone. ordered and literally in minutes our order was done. We ordered the couple set, pork cutlet and the rose rice cake. Everything was one point. Only thing bad I could say was the corner where we sat was quite hot and eating spicy food made we sweat like crazy but it was worth the food. So good we got takeout and left overs for the next day, and the leftovers/takeout was a little hard it was still pretty good. Overall would come back again!

After going to this location and the other Rolly Kimbab on Springfield Blvd location a couple of more times, I can confirm that the kimbap rolls are rolled better at the other location. The rolls here seem less filled and use more rice than the ones made at the other location. Still great food for the price, but the rolls at the other location are just consistently better. Some more things I've tried here: - Steamed Dumplings: Not bad. Wrapper is thin, and the filling is juicy and slightly sweet. Wouldn't order again because they just seemed like microwaved frozen dumplings. - Lobster Kimbap: Not bad. It seems like it's just a lobster meat stick or cut up lobster fish balls they use as the lobster. The lobster meat stick is slightly saltier than a crabmeat stick, but it may as well have been a crabmeat stick because the difference was negligible. Has avocado in it.

Was really disappointed in the bulgogi gimbap I ordered. The meat was cold and the rest of the filling had a 'fridge' taste. I did enjoy the chicken fried rice and the sides it came with. Lots of chicken and everything was fresh. Would order a meal here again but not their gimbap.

My favorite spot in the bayside/flushing area to get a quick snack. I recommend getting the spam masubi and bulgogi kimbap (both pictured). There is no parking lot but you can park on northern right in front of the restaurant. Ambiance is ok- there are some tables and chairs to sit and eat. Service is usually very quick. Tip- ask for the miso soup!

This place offers great breakfast sandwiches, rice bowls, rice balls. Cute little place offers a pleasant environment for breakfast.

Greeted in Korean which I loved. Seems like a family business which makes me like it more. Prices are fair, unlike the city, which is another plus. And I got a pleasant surprise (cup of soup) which is such a sweet unexpected touch. Another plus. I wasn't hungry and was rather full but I wanted to give this place a shot. I ordered the Kimbap bulgugi (spicy and regular). Loved both and it was exactly what I expected from the previous yelpers photos. Also love the name of the shop. It's so cute!

Excellent kimbab. You know why it's so good? Their rice to filling ratio is On F****ng point. It's like 20% rice and 80% filling. Super generous portions and reasonable prices. I wish we had options like this in Brooklyn. The kimbab is like somewhat a cheat meal, but not really? I usually destroy two rolls and feel perfectly satisfied and not stuffed afterwards. The spicy tuna is a must everytime I'm here. Bugolgi and spicy squid is pretty good too.

Soon after I ordered, an anxious uber-eats/grubhub/doordash(?) driver came in and showed the Counterman their phone presumably with the order they are picking up. The Counterman tells her that it will be a "couple of minutes". The further agitated driver asks for a clarification "how many minutes? 2... 3..." and the Counterman states loudly "A couple of minutes means TWO!". The driver protests "A couple of minutes can mean a few.. 2, 3, 4..6..." she drops the futile argument as the Counterman attends to counter business. I laugh to myself. What does this have to do with anything? Probably not much, I just love the confusion the statement "a couple of minutes" causes (I side with the Counterman - a couple literally means two). Anyway.. this place serves over 40 kinds of kimbab among other casual Korean foods. I had the Rolly and Spicy Squid kimbabs. They are cheap, delicious and filling. They come with soup. What's not to like? - a meal and a show!

I've been coming here for years and have loved the food every single time. Rolly Kimbab is my go-to spot when I want something delicious, healthy, and moderately priced. They are great for food on the go, as well as to feed large groups of people. I consistently choose Rolly over other restaurants serving kimbab because of their simple, homemade quality that translates through their fresh ingredients and the love you feel while eating it. Their kimbab rolls are great on their own because they are packed with fresh cooked meats and colorful veggies. Great to bring on trips or picnics for a meal, and just order as many as you want! We've placed large orders for parties as well, and they can arrange them on a catering tray for you. Their cupbabs are a fun mix of rice, egg, kimchi, and your choice of meat. Another travel size meal-in-one! When we prefer a more traditional sit down meal, we also like ordering the Couples Set, which gives you a sampler of meat, tofu, kimchi, salad, etc. I'm grateful for this humble establishment providing such consistent and nutritious food, and will continue to give them my business!!

Haven't visited the shop physically since I don't live that close by, but I've ordered from here a few times now. I have tried a variety of their kimbaps, but my favorite dishes are the kimchi and tuna kimbap and their seafood/janchi noodle soup (잔치국수). When I'm feeling fancy, I sometimes go for the lobstar kimbap. The food has good portions, tastes and looks great, and it always satisfies my cravings. I'll be continuing to order from here!

It was indeed a verrrry hot day so I appreciated how the AC was absolutely blasting. I almost did a double take before walking in because I genuinely cannot do hot soup in this weather if there's no AC. Thankfully, it was nice and cool inside, which made the meal that much better. Everything was so thoughtfully done. The banchan were dangerously good (I could've kept eating them forever), and the collagen gomtang was rich, comforting, and perfect to share. My friend and I split one bowl, and they still brought us two bowls of rice, which was sooooo thoughtful. The staff is amazing. My friend and I definitely got carried away catching up, yet not once did we feel rushed. Instead, the staff kept making sure we were comfortable and even offered us more banchan. That level of hospitality is so rare and honestly made the entire meal feel extra special. Also... please do yourself a favor and order the Jeju Tangerine Fizz. It was hands down one of the most refreshing drinks I've had this summer and paired perfectly with the meal. Amazing food, incredible hospitality, icy-cold AC, and an experience that made me want to come back before I even left. 1000% recommend!!!

This place is a little of a hidden gem and not quite like other Korean restaurants. But no gatekeeping here! We also came at a weird lunch time around 2pm so it wasn't really busy and we were seated right away. Once you enter, you'd quickly notice the very detailed beautifully hand painted murals on the walls and an abundance of painted butterflies. The attention to detail is impeccable! The menu is also very cute and I'm guessing handmade. It was pretty detailed and we appreciated learning about each dish before deciding what to order. We ended up ordering the Kimchi Pancake with seafood, the spicy bulkoki udon and the jeyuk udon. The kimchi seafood pancake was super crispy and filled with squid and shrimp! It also came with a semi sweet dipping sauce that paired nicely. Both udons came out piping hot and fresh! Udon had a nice chew to it, was loaded with vegetables as well as meat for each dish. The egg was fried and did not have a runny yolk. For sides, they gave us 4 things- a tomato salad, kimchi cucumbers, braised string beans, and bean sprouts. The tomato salad came in this cute apple shaped dish but neither of us really cared for it- this is completely biased though since we're not really fans of tomato. What we really did love was the kimchi cucumbers! Also at the end, they served us 3 pieces of cantaloupe which were very sweet. Overall, yummy food, cute shop, and friendly/nice staff! I'd come back to try their other food options in the future!

There's 2 waitresses and one busser, but I felt only one of the waitress was pulling the weight, while the other (maybe she's the owner?) mostly chatted with one of the table customers. I felt bad for our waitress she was so busy with fulfilling takeouts + dine ins and the dishes require a lot of servicing table side. She couldn't catch 1 second of break :( Food wise, we got their 2 person combo of spicy pork gamja tang and spicy rice cake which came with the steamed egg. Everything was so good, egg was extra fluffy, rice cake was delicious and the meat came right off the bones. They take a good variety of side dishes. My partner wasn't a fan of the gamja tang but due to feeling it's a hassle to eat meat with bones, so those who fee sim may agree. We also asked for the fried rice after we finished the gamja tang, for 2 servings I think it was $4.75 or something. I really enjoyed it but I guess I like scorched rice, also something my partner doesn't enjoy so those we feel sim just note. Environment feels very old school, well worn. Feels cozy. It can get loud very quickly on a Saturday night as this place seems to be a hit for large parties. Since the wait staff is short handed, expect a bit of a wait for things. Don't come if you're in a rush.

Geo Si Gi is highly known for their signature gamjatang (spicy pork bone soup). Ordered the Gamjatang & Grilled Mackerel Set - $52.95 (for 2) The gamjatang is perfectly spiced - bold and warming without overwhelming heat (and trust me, my spice tolerance is low!). Instead of the usual red kimchi, they load it with long strips of green napa cabbage, cut right before your eyes before serving. Some bean sprouts, watercress on top, with tender potatoes, chewy rice cakes, and massive pork bones that fall right off - so meaty and flavorful. Served with a side of sweet mustard sauce. Pure comfort on a cold day. The grilled mackerel was enormous and incredibly plump - way bigger than expected! As an oily fish, it's rich and satisfying, but we barely made it through a third. If you're a mackerel fan like me, it's a must-order. . Banchan were simple and homey: nothing flashy, just solid classics. Bonus: it comes with fluffy steamed egg (jjim) that rounds out the meal perfectly. I can eat an entire bowl of rice with just the steamed egg . This set was massive for two - we left with about 1/4 of the soup and 2/3 of the fish! Pro tip: Save some broth and ask them to make fried rice with it at the end. Game-changer. . Highly recommend for hearty, soul-warming Korean food in Flushing!

A couple of us shared a $13 bottle of the green grape flavor of Chum Churum, a soju. In terms of banchan, there was a bunch. Everyone got a cold and refreshing cabbage soup as well as a very tasty version of Braised Tofu/Dubu-jorim/두부조림. Once we ordered, we also got a bunch of other banchan, including cabbage, radish, and cucumber Kimchi, broccoli and cauliflower Namul, Marinated Mushrooms/Beoseot Bokkeum/버섯볶음, Anchovies With Peanuts/Myeolchi Bokkeum/멸치볶음, and Potato/Gamja Salad/감자샐러드. One of the other things brought out was a pretty tasty version of Raw Soy Sauce Marinated Crab/Ganjang-Gejang/간장게장. Most of these were refillable. The first actual thing that arrived was something that I can't eat, the $22.99 Seafood Pancake/Haemul Pajeon/해물파전. I have a cephalopod allergy, or in other words, anything with tentacles, so I avoid squid and octopus, and seafood pancakes always contain one of those two. Everyone else enjoyed it, though. The pajeon I could eat was the Kimchi Jeon/김치전 for a dollar less. It was pretty tasty, though I prefer other spots that had a bit more of a crisp. Next was one of their signatures, the grilled duck. Going from online reviews, we went with the non-spicy version, as people prefer it, as the spicier marinade overpowers the duck. This was the $29.99 Sang Ori Gui/생오리구이. The sliced duck was on a hot, sizzling plate, with there also being a lot of grilled onions and scallions. The duck had a mix of pieces, ranging from fatty to less so, and had a nice mix of textures. This was easily one of my favorites, though I liked it even more when paired with the ssamjang that arrived with the BBQ, as the sauce balanced the light fattiness. Arriving at a similar time was the last thing I couldn't eat, the Spicy Stir-Fried Baby Octopus on Iron Plate/Jjukkumi Cheolpan Bokkeu/철판쭈꾸비볶음, for $30.99. I couldn't try the octopus, but the portion was plentiful, and I had a bit of the noodles on the bottom after making sure there were no tentacles, as well as trying the sauce. The sauce was tasty, spicy, and very flavorful. We went with two of the Korean BBQ meats, one beef and one pork. My preference of the two was surprisingly the $49.99 Charcoal Grilled Marinated Beef Ribs/Yangnyeom Galbi/양념갈비. This also came with two veggies: kabocha squash and asparagus. The beef was extremely tender, had the perfect mix of fat and meat, and had only a light sweetness from the marinade. This was absolutely delicious and very much worth the price point. Also tasty was the Grilled Pork Belly/Samgyeopsal/삼겹살, for $36.95. This also came with a few things, including cabbage and a large mushroom. The pork belly was delicious, being just fatty enough and very tender as well, with a mild chew. The BBQ came with a few extra side dishes. This included a tasty steamed egg/Gyeran-jjim/계란찜, greens, an onion salad, ssamjang, salt, and a small boiling pot of soybean stew/doenjang jjigae. They were all tasty, though nothing particularly notable outside of the portions being generous. Also, at the end of the meal, they gave us some sujeonggwa. Not much for me to complain about this place. The food was very tasty overall, and the service was wonderful. I would go back and order a full beef BBQ set.
