Recently, I brought my LS-430 to Kwik Kar for a tire rotation. When the technician was finished and he brought the car outside, there was a loud thumping sound. He took the car back inside to the shop and worked on it again. He said he didn't have the lug nuts on correctly. I then looked at the wheels and noticed a broken plastic hub cap. I pointed this out to the technician. He said he would order one and replace it. I told him he should have removed the plastic hub cap before removing the lug nuts and rotating the tires. This was an obvious procedure. After I got home, I noticed another broken hub cap. I called Kwik Kar and told the supervisor. I asked where he bought the hub cap so I could order one. I told him I would pay for the second hub cap because I didn't notice it before I left the shop earlier. I never received a call back. Kwik Kar has lost a customer. I will now take the car to the Lexus dealer for service. The wait is longer and the price is higher, but the care and quality is better.

To recap. Tried to upsell me. Would have worked if they were actually closer to 5 minutes than 50... so thank you for being slow and inept?!?

Extremely Disappointing Experience…read more I had an oil change done at this Jiffy Lube location in February 2026. About five months later, while driving on the freeway in the Texas heat with my toddler in the car, my check engine light came on. I immediately pulled over somewhere safe and had my car towed to a Honda dealership. Honda determined that my oil drain plug had fallen out, causing the engine to become starved of oil and resulting in engine damage. They immediately advised me to contact the facility that had performed my last oil change as this error is predominantly an installation error. I contacted Jiffy Lube, but after conducting their own investigation, they determined they were not responsible and instead pointed fingers at the Honda dealership for not catching the issue when I brought my car there in June for an A/C repair. That visit had absolutely nothing to do with an oil change or my oil drain plug, and I had no reason to have any concerns about my oil at that time. I am extremely disappointed with how this situation has been handled. I trusted Jiffy Lube to properly service my vehicle, and now it's not longer drivable. Rather than taking accountability or seriously addressing the possibility that the plug was not properly installed or secured, the responsibility was shifted to another business for an unrelated service. I have to pay over 10k in repairs for a 2018 car that's I've had for only 2 years that I drive minimally. This was not only an expensive situation, but a disheartening one. I expected better quality and accountability from Jiffy Lube, and unfortunately, that has not been my experience.

Apparently the drain plug was completely unusable due to it having signs of power tool. The only way that could have happened was when I had it taken here. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! We first arrived and Eric greeted us, very welcoming and friendly. Felt like I was talking to a friend, and no more than a minute later, he told Killian the mechanic and in less than a second, immediately went to check our car, with no questions asked. This for me, was an AMAZING experience, not just because they charged us half what others would for their service, but because of Killians work-ethic in getting straight to the job. I love to see anybody love what they do, and when I seen Killian get to work, I knew this man would get the job done. I am ONLY going here from here on out, and I couldn't recommend coming here enough. GREAT service, and I wish I had more to show my gratitude, but I hope this reaches whoever looks at this, and appreciates the love an individual can have in their craft. Replace stuff until the issue goes away not truly a pro diagnostic process. IMO They listed many other issues they wanted to charge for wish I did not even ask to look at. Trying to up the bill to me. They up price parts and labor so your bill will be 2/3 more expensive than a smaller shop elsewhere. But considering that actual dealers do the same thing or worse.... the people are nice enough but don't expect to get out of there with a reasonable bill. Was the issue fixed? partially will see longer term. They only want to use OEM parts even though some after market parts are better. Example of part cost. Part cost aftermarket OEM compatable 130.00 they charge for part 530.00 and then their labor. Gun to the head and they have your car.

My particular car manufacturer does not have the Rotor's machined. They require you to replace the rotors when you change the brakes. So I told them I would buy the brake pads from them and then I would bring in the Rotors since I know I won't be able to machine them. They refuse to allow you to bring in the rotors. They refuse to give you a price quote for the rotors. I assume it's some kind of astronomical price compared to what you might buy at AutoZone or O'Reillys and they're gonna price gouge on the parts, hoping you're a sucker and don't know better. Furthermore, when I tried to get a price quote. He simply just hung up the phone when you ask too many questions. And he claimed he was the manager. Well, I can tell you, the manager of the store is an asshole and will not be getting my business and will not be getting favorable reviews either.
