Cool bar and restaurant and we were there for karaoke night but very very impressed with the size of the breaded wings. They ran out of jalapeno poppers but gave us the last three but as you can tell they were torched and came with cheddar cheese which is not our cup of tea. Wait staff was great and that was the first time I ever saw someone order naked wings and I had to look away. The poppers were on the house but we found them on our bill as well as an extra drink that was not ordered so always check your bill and we totally understand that mistakes can be made, no biggie. I placed an order on DoorDash recently here. Their menu has a variety of options. I ordered the San Fran Patty Melt with a side of onion rings. There were no photos on DoorDash, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Most patty melt sandwiches I've ordered come on rye bread with Swiss cheese. This came on sourdough toast which I guess is why it's called a San Fran Patty Melt. I wasn't expecting that but it was good. It's a half pound hamburger patty and there were some onions and a few mushrooms on it. I ordered well done and it was cooked well done. The onion rings were plentiful and maintained their crispness. They didn't seem soggy. There were no condiments included but the order was placed in a styrofoam container lined with some foil. Delivery charges were reasonable and this is a good value. Looking on their website, this looks like a fun bar to go to. One day if I'm feeling adventurous, I might take a Lyft and see what it's all about. Recommended. P.S. Romer's Bar & Grill Bellbrook. Grilled chicken sandwich and appetizer sampler, (turkey balls, jalapeno poppers, cheese sticks). "Meh" sums up this experience. The grilled chicken was good. The fried stuff left something to be desired. I tried the turkey balls, which are a bit outside of my comfort zone. I was surprised that they were really crispy and the filling was well balanced. Still not my thing, but may be something that others would like better. The jalapeno poppers were extremely disappointing. I'm always excited to find cheddar jalapeno poppers, because most places carry cream cheese. But this was nacho cheese. Like runny, has been sitting in your refrigerator for a week, separating nacho cheese. I didn't eat more than a bite of those. Cheese sticks and onion rings were what they were. I expected better from a place that is known for their bar food. The bar food portion of the order just was not good. I may return for the grilled chicken, but probably wouldn't explore the menu much beyond that. read more

Asked to turn a basketball game on and then were told three different excuses as to why they couldn't (first they don't have espn+, then when we explained we watched a game here 3 days before on ESPN+, it became if they changed one tv than it would change all the others (also not the case from which we witnessed previously), then it was they got signed out of ESPN+ in the last 3 days. Ok so the food is great it's just the service that's there. Me and my family sometimes eat there but the first time the service was well, second and so on it just got worse, today my family was about to eat but it was empty there so we took our seat and it took about 10 minutes for them to notice we had sat down. Then we ordered potato skins which took about 20 minutes. We got mad about that because they kept passing us and saw us and ignored us basically. Then when we ordered our dinner we sat there FOR A HOUR! My mom had a long day, she wanted to go home, My dad was pissed, And so was i! And we went to get our check to leave and they said it just got done cooking, Well maybe if it didn't take a WHOLE HOUR IN A EMPTY RESTAURANT, Then maybe we would just eat it. So the food here is really good for a bar. We've been coming here for years, but lately the service has gone down hill. The servers are often taking care of far too many tables so you have to wait quite a while for beers, place your order, etc. If you're feeling patient, it's often worth the wait. However, we stopped in one Saturday night to play darts and have a few beers. We didn't have a table so we attempted to order drinks at the bar: The bartender was not busy, he was chatting with the 5-ish patrons seated around the bar - when we walked up he screamed at us to "go sit down, your server will get your drinks!!!!!" We were stunned at the hatefulness he spewed at us. So we found a table. It took twenty minutes to get our first round, the poor server was working the whole place by herself. And the bartender wasn't ever pouring the beers for tables, she was!!! I would have thought he was just having an off night, but I've seen him do this a couple times since then to other folks. After the last time, I don't think we'll be back for a while. It's just upsetting. He could be nicer about it, or insist that you pay him and can't put it on a tab you have with a server... it just doesn't make sense. I was a bartender for years. Social distancing....none. People sitting shoulder to shoulder. Smokers on the patio right on top of us. No masks on bartender (waitress was wearing one). This was our third choice when we wanted to grab a drink on a girls day out. Other two were closed. Got our drinks and menus pretty quick, but waitress never came back to take our order. Food on other tables did look good. When tables turned over, I didn't see any cleaning of table before other sat there. I'll just start off with saying... I can't say enough good things about Romers!! The food is awesome, everything is homemade, and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommend boneless wings, traditional wings, turkey balls (like Thanksgiving dinner rolled into a ball and deep fried, and served with turkey gravy), jalapeño poppers... pretty much everything we've had is amazing. Sauces all homemade and delicious. The only downside for me, is I wouldn't eat out there in the evenings/weekends because it gets crowded and more bar atmosphere. TLDR: Get the wings, if you don't live too far away I prefer getting it to go. Food: I didn't care for the loaded tots, just nothing special, kinda bland, eh just skip them. The wings are what really shines here. Carolina gold, Asian persuasion, dry rub, and Cajun were all pretty good. Didn't care for the hot bbq as there wasn't much flavor just spiciness. Service: Been here a few times now. If it's busy (most of the times I've been here) it'll be loud, if you sit outside there's smoke. It takes a pretty fair amount of time for someone to even come by your table when it's busy, I've ended up just ordering to go from the bar multiple times because of this. We have been coming for lunch for years. The last few times have been less than good. I ordered a Philly Cheese Steak. I got a burnt bun with burnt meat. I found two peanut sized pieces of green pepper and one peanut sized piece of onion. There was enough meat to put on one half of a 6 inch bun. We also got onion strings that were mostly just the crunch stuff off of the onion. Majorly over done. Very disappointed. The last time I got the teriyaki chicken which was basically chicken no sauce. Just had the worst experience of my life at a restaurant...Romers in bellbrook. This is coming from Someone that has worked in through college in the foodservice industry, so I understand everything servers have to deal with. I came in to eat (.75¢ wing night so who could turn that down) and waited 20 minutes for my first beer. Not a huge deal on a busy night but there were 4 other tables in the whole place....I counted after. Waited another 20 minutes to even place my order amd then 15 for the server to come back and ask if I needed anything else. I asked for another beer and after seeing her disappear into the kitchen for the 4th time after she was "swamped" and waiting another 15 minutes I asked for a box and the bill because I had to leave. She immediately brought it out to me and I asked why the bill didn't reflect the price that it should have been. Her reply was, "you asked for a box so it's full price, if you want the special, you have to eat it here." And then got snippy about me ordering what I ordered (not a crazy amount) when she was the only server. I told her to box it up and paid and even tipped when I should've just walked out but will NOT be returning nor will I be bringing my networking group back for trivia nights. Nasty food. Just ate there with 7 other people. My boneless wings were soggy, my friend's burger was burnt (he asked for medium rare), my 2 other friends wings were so-so, one friend's BLT was so bad she didn't even eat barely any of it. (I only ate 3 or 4 pieces of wings and tossed the rest.) The server was nice, but it took forever to get food served and initially the table was nasty dirty with obvious marks from previous meals. First time visitors yesterday. Ordered 2 pizzas, philly cheese steak, open face sandwich, a juicy Lucy's bud some boneless wings. Overall the food was really good. The pizzas were Dayton style. Thin crust and cut into squares. The sandwiches were good and had large portions. The wings did not last long. We had them with the garlic dry rub. The juicy Lucy was loaded with deli meats, cheese and jalapeños. It was tasty. The house chips were a nice addition they were crispy but did need a touch more salt. The house sauce that came with them was quite nice. All I all it was a nice dinner with plenty left over for lunch today. We shall be back read more

This place was awesome! I had the Hot BBQ traditional wings and my friend had the Caroline Gold grilled boneless with two side salads. The total was about $34 with drinks. Best Wings that I've had in a long time. The size of the wings were healthy too and not super small. The amount of breading was just right. This is my new favorite wing place. The sever, Kallie? was also really nice and very helpful. I also happened to attend on a trivia night which was a lot of fun. The only thing that I would say about this place is I found myself in an argument with my friend over the debate if this place is better than Tanks. Edward Romers, Last night I got a Doordash order to pick up at your restaurant. The order was for 64.78 which is a lot for someone to pay. The man behind the bar was a small, skinny white guy with medium length stringy hair and a ball cap on. I took the food, thanked him and went out to my car. Once I was out there I read the order that the customer Ernie ordered. I notice both pizza boxes were the same size but that Erinie had ordered a 14" and A 9" pizza. The order was for A pizza with sauerkraut, ham and bell peppers the other one was for beef and mushrooms. At least those are the ingredients I can remember. I brought both pizzas along with the bag of other stuff back into the store. I told the guy I got two pizzas the same size. His first words to me were " I just gave a small and a large pizza to the other guy". I told him. That was me. I opened up both boxes and showed him the pizzas. "yeah , he said". I asked which one was the 14". He said there were both 9" pizzas. but, the order is for a 9 and a 14. I showed him my cell phone and what it said plus the ingredients. I explained. The 9" is supposed to have beef and mushrooms but it has sausages and onions. The one with sauerkraut and ham is supposed to be the larger one. ( I don't remember bere batam ) but you get the idea. We didn't even get to the taco salads and the fish and chips which now from talking to Doordash weren't even in the bag I had. By this time the guy behind the bar told me that the order on my cell phone is wrong and it isn't what is sent to the restaurant. I told him it has to be! " No it isn't "he said. We get completely different orders on our side. If that's true then you would have more problems with doordash drivers delivering the wrong food. I seem to be the only one that got the wrong food. He said, " the food that comes up on our side is the food we make. This isn't my problem, it's yours and doordashes. I said, it's not our problem you made the wrong food. So he went back to the cash register, looked at the doordash tablet and then walked back into the back room. He came back out and said he could make another pizza but it would be 15 to 20min. I said but they were both wrong pizzas. After that he flipped out. He called me A bald Mother Fucker and how stupid I was for not understanding that the doordash order that he gets is right and the one I get is wrong. I said it can't be. This is what the guy ordered 64.00 dollars worth of food and you're saying he and doordash or wrong and you're right. He was in front of a lady who was waiting for her food. She was not with me. He yelled to me, "Get the fuck out of here,Now" you STUPID, MOTHER FUCKER! go back to delivering your food. At that time the lady jumped in to stop all the yelling. She was upset and frightened. I left the store and contacted the customer Ernie. I told him I would bring him the food I had but it's wrong and I am not sure if it is all there. I believe he was missing either fish or taco salads because the food in the bag seemed light. Erinie was angry that the man treated me this way and he was upset that he spent a lot of money for him and his mom to eat because she is quarantined due to her age and wanted to give her a nice meal. Several people have recommended Romer's for their wings so we decided to go check it out. Sadly, we were disappointed. The food is mostly fine, but nothing special. My husband is more of a wing fan and he didn't finish his wings. We did like the Turkey Balls, which were inventive and good. However the real drawback here is the environment. First time at Romer's last night, really close to us and they had live trivia so we thought we'd check them out! Pretty nice place inside, I mean it's kind of a sports bar feel but it's clean and plenty of tables around. The menu was pretty big for a sports bar but we opted for the "best wings in Dayton" and some chicken chunks for her. The wings were ok, I actually like mine a little crispy and these were a little too heavy on the breading for my taste, they were huge but the breading is what made them huge. Sauce was ok, not bad. I actually liked my wife's chicken chunks better than my wings since they were not breaded and had that crispy skin on them, I'd probably skip the wings and order the chunks next time. We were excited that they had fat tire on tap, love New Belgium beer and glad they finally brought them to Ohio! We will ask for a price next time before ordering them though! $6.50 a beer! wow! So, our dinner of 10 wings, chicken chunks, an order of fried green beens and 4 draught beers was $50.00 (before tip)! As we left we were a little shocked at how expensive it was, next time we'll have to stick to the bud light I suppose, wow! The trivia was fun and kept us there for a little longer which I guess is the point. Not sure we'd rush to go back but if we did we'd be sure to get the budget beer! read more

Unless you're into trivia, avoid the live trivia - which is twice a week :( it was so very loud and headache inducing the level at which they had the mic volume set. It also happened to be on trivia night there was no room left at the bar so we sat at a table. Server never returned after we got our food so we were stuck waiting and waiting to pay a bill so we could leave. But again the food is very good. I love the spaghetti with meatballs here.
