Always fancied this location. It's in such a cute neighborhood as well. The restaurant itself gives rustic vibes in a welcoming way. It's not an overly big space but it makes it to be an intimate place to be. It may get a little loud when busy with the music and voices over powering but a place to be when wanting something more chill and laid back. The service was wonderful. Our server checked on us a few times (although I feel like she over did it on this), but overall I think she as great with the service. Food wise: I guess what I had previously tried when I first visited this location years ago was pretty decent but it's been years since I came here. I got the hula hula tofu bowl which really was just like a salad bowl. Not fully what I was expecting it to be as a rice bowl with slightly lack of flavour. Although it did have a bunch of veggies in the bowl that I really like. I think my favourite part were the donuts which were DELICIOUS

B said he was craving for burgers suddenly. We were in Coquitlam at that time and the only thing I can think of was Romer's. I told him that Romer's had really good burgers and it is a must try. This is the first time to this location. I liked the atmosphere. All Covid 19 protocols are in place here. There is 1.5 hours of free parking in the Suter Brook Village. B got the double maple bacon Cesar. He said it was nothing special. B got the Chorizodor burger and I got the Red Truck burger. The Chorizodor burger was very tasty and the flavor combined very well. The quality of the meat / ingredients were fresh and high quality. Not many places have chorizos. So, it was nice to see it here. I got the red truck burger. The burger had a very strong smoky flavor bbq sauce. It was good. But the sauce was very overpowering. I had a Cesar salad with mine and it was nothing special. The salad was somewhat sad. B had fries with his burger. They were good but the burger basically filled him up and he couldn't finish his fries. Overall good food. We will be back to try out the other burgers.

Food was good! There was a technical issue in the kitchen and the food took almost 2 hours to arrive but we were given a 25% discount because of that.

I love the burgers and fish and chips and the sides are amazing overall I really recommend it.

4 stars for the drunken donuts. I came here specially for the donuts after trying them at a Yelp Christmas event last year. I remembered it and tried to find time to get to a Romer's. I came here early and got a table easily. Maybe the rain kept people away too as it was not very full when getting close to the lunch hours. The donuts (mini size like those at PNE) were freshly fried and served with 3 dips - Kahlua Nutella, Lemon Limoncello, and Maple Whisky - was simply delicious. I could not decide which was my favorite dip as they were all good. I also tried the eggs benedict which was ok though the eggs had the lingering taste of vinegar. The mac and cheese was not too bad either. I will say, stick to the drunken donuts and skip the others. Maybe the burgers will be better.

Service was great and so was the food! The best part is that I can order a burger keto style for an additional cost and it's yummy!

Was pleasantly surprised to be able to book a rezzie on their website 15 minutes out on a Saturday afternoon. Ambiance was nice, and service was crazy quick. Their menu had a good selection of brunch items with really reasonable prices. I ordered the smoked salmon Benny and was thrilled to see the hashbrowns were actually tots! When I say they were the star of the show, I'm not kidding. They were so perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and so soft inside and absolutely seasoned to perfection. There were also so many on my plate I couldn't finish the all. The Benny was just okay. Eggs were cooked well, English muffin was under toasted, and overall it was on the cold side. Hubby ordered the classic breakfast. It also came with the same perfect tots, his over easy egg was a bit over cooked and he wasn't a fan of the bacon. The focaccia on the other hand was delish. Soft and super flavourful. We had a 25% off coupon from the Community Values book which made this extra reasonably priced. Will definitely be back!

I ordered their Tuna-Up burger and it was cooked perfectly with all the right flavours. I use to order the tuna burger all the time when it was available at Brown's Social House. Although it wasn't on the menu.....I was able to order it and the kitchen would just cook it up but not anymore. For me, the tuna burger is what I enjoy since I find it as a healthier option. If you're like me and really enjoy tuna........you have to try the Tuna-Up at Vera's. Its fairly priced like their burgers. Onion rings at Vera's are well made...perfect amount of batter. The only thing I don't like about onion rings in the amount of oils that drips from them.....hey, you only live once and its well worth it. GO and try their Tuna-Up burger with onion rings! I'm hoping it's a permanent option on their menu.

I really like that Veras is in Port Moody, I like that they support the LGBT community and the pride parade and I like that offer so many toppings and specials. I like the decor. I really like that Veras uses good quality meat and fresh ingredients/toppings, the soda machine is very flavourful and bubbly, I like the craft beer and alcohol selection. The portions are good too. They have many different specials for the day or different sports events. I really like the veggie burger, I would recommend it with two patty's since it's very light compared to the beef burgers. I like ordering my burger with "the works". The bathrooms are not gender neutral at this location but they are clean. Ordering ahead is very easy and stress-free/simple.

Portions were decent, just not a place I'd go if I was extremely hungry. Drinks were a highlight and definitely add to the overall experience. Service was friendly and attentive.
