Pretty decent divey-ish bar. Good, cheaper drinks, decent food that fits the bill, and some pretty hot girls working the joint. I love going here with my husband to watch Monday Night Football. It is easy to sit with a group so that everyone can see the game. The beer is cheap. The food is decent. The atmosphere is a clean, well lit bar with some games and music, but mostly people sitting and talking the night away. I read some of the other reviews, and I have to admit that I was nervous to visit Romes for that exact reason. I felt like it was a "boy's bar" that would be dirty and I would feel cheap. The good news is that I never feel odd there even though I'm one of the only women (except, of course, for the waitresses). And it is very clean and well lit. Plus, a bonus of the bar being full of men is that the bathroom was super-clean. I've been in plenty of nice bars with very cruddy bathrooms. If you're looking for a place to get beer and sit and watch sports or just chat with friends, this is THE place (unless, maybe, it is bikini night or something - then I would probably shy away myself). When I say 5 stars I meant 5 stars. I was in restaurants for 20 years but recently left to sell construction. This place is right down the street from my office and I go a few times a week and here's the thing. Denver's best hidden secret? Hell yes. Look, I get it...it's pretty girls serving bar/diner fare in an industrial neighborhood. But the food is good, the service is friendly and the beer is cheap. Where else do you go that serves a Philly by a in chaps and a bikini and then amanger comes and asks how the food is? In fact, I can tell that the food is made from scratch but still easy to order and quick off the line. Finally, the eggs and rellenos is amazing. We have visited Rome's on several occasions for NASCAR. Unfortunately we will no longer be frequently Rome's. Customer service is paramount in any business. Katy and Mike appear to be the only staff members that believe in great customer service. On one recent visit the waitress walked by us 4 times and never said a word,then she started going out of her way so she wouldn't have to walk by us. Unfortunately Katy and Mike can't work every hour and everyday that they are open. With that being said, several of the other team members, for example, Michelle and Lindsay don't provide the service that the owners, Katy and Mike give. The following will reflect the poor service we have received: *not acknowledged when entering business. *had to wait 15 min. to receive service. *dishes not cleared away. *had to track down waitress to close tab and pay. We will not waste our time and money anymore, and will not return. read more

If you blink, you will drive right by this place. It is in the middle of a good size industrial part of town. I am not sure why some consider this a "biker bar", but I have never been here on a weekend. Our group checked-in at 12:30p on a Thursday and it was busy. Patrons ranged from suit and tie folks to construction workers to a few bikers. We ended up sitting at the bar and were greeted promptly by talent. I mean a very attractive bartender. I mean a very intelligent lady. Ha, screw it, pure talent! God gave us yoga pants for every damn waitress in this place. Ordered a Mexican chicken sandwich, which came with fries. I thought the sandwich was awesome, just the right amount of spiciness, and my soda was always full. Reasonable prices, my lunch was right around $11. Their menu ranges from Italian to Mexican and everything in between. I am having a difficult time focusing on the food, did I mention yoga pants? I love a bar where you see all walks of life and everyone gets along. Word on the street is Friday is the best day to partake in the scenery. So, go a bit out of your way to visit this diverse saloon, you won't be disappointed. read more

Was once a regular customer, called in phone orders at least once or twice a week. They would usually forget condiments or utensils which was petty and nothing worth mentioning since I have all of that at work. The food is decent so I didn't give it too much time. Last week I called in as usual to place an order and Nicole the head bartender answered the phone, said hello once and hung up on me before I could even say I was calling in an order. I called a second time and told her she just had hung up on me and she laughed and said "yeah so, I couldn't hear you". Which I felt was pretty rude and told her so. I then asked if I could speak to a different server or a manager to place my order, she then proceeded to tell me if I didn't want to place my order with her, I wasn't placing an order at all and hung up on me again. I came in to the establishment in person and spoke to the manager/ owner and when I walked in Nicole looked at me and proceeded to ask me, "oh, are you here to tell on me because you couldn't order your food"? I expressed to her that I was there to talk to her boss because "she's fucking rude". When the manager/ owner came out to finally speak to me, he kept trying to justify her actions rather then rectify the situation. I could tell I was wasting my time and decided to go about my day. I'll definitely take my business else where, good luck with your staff. Their looks and lack of clothing will only take them so far. read more

Biker bar. If you want hot girls serving food, go to Hooters or Tilted Kilt. Pro: Beers were huge for cheap ($5 for 32oz). Girls did wear sexy pants (mesh). Seems like a great sports bar too. Con: biker bar, rougher looking crowd. Service was slow due to lack if servers. Bathrooms were a pee-only situation. read more

I personally really enjoy Romes. The girls are hot (yes I'm straight LOL), the food is pretty damn good for bar food, and the prices are CHEAP! I have never experienced this bad of service anywhere that what we received at this place. Brought my nephew there after his father's funeral and told him that I heard this place was good. It was 3:00 in the afternoon so not overly busy and we sat at a table that was front and center of the bar. The waitresses were there being gabby with each other who proceeded to walk back & forth past us without even a hello. After 10+ minutes of this I was finally able to get one of the girls attention and asked if we could get served as we have been here ahwile. She acted as if I was rude for even asking and mumbled something under her breath but thinking she would be back to take our order. Wrong! To my surprise she never came back and neither did anyone else. After another 5 minutes I said lets get the hell out of this place and headed for the door....no one even noticed that we left. We could have robbed the place and no one would have known. Lol...Needless to say I will never step a foot in Rome's again and if I were you I wouldn't either. read more

Rome's is a good place to go when you need a neighborhood type of bar to go to. I've had some pretty rude waitresses/bartenders here, which was obviously less than pleasant. It's obviously got the meat market kinda vibe going on, so be prepared for that when you're going to Rome's. Otherwise it's just that, a 3 Star vibe. read more

one of the best hidden gems in the city. i frequent enough i should be buying stock in the place. ive been a patron of this location for over 8 years, prob closer to over 10. time passes when you are having fun, :) food is always spot on, beers are always chilled, and the prices are well met with the drinks and food they pair with. there are always gorgeous ladies working there, and for the most part very friendly. meh...i am sure you get one here and there having a bad day, as we all do, but that is peanuts compared to the overall feel. they often have different styles of attire on different days and in October, they dress up different each day for about two weeks i think. maybe a bit less, maybe more, but it is fun to see the choices they pick. ya gotta go if you have not been. ive gone, and will continue to. :) PS - they just added an outdoor seating area!! I have been here about 10 times most of those visits a few years back in my early 20's. I went on a date with my husband recently and I just felt like fried mushrooms and shot of quality tequila so I knew we had to start here. I dig the air hockey and pretty women with ample cleavage- all of their waitresses meet this requirement. I always held Romes in my minds eye as a "biker-ish" bar, especially because of its location, but to me it lives up to all the charm that is to be expected of such an establishment. I really think the food is good here, especially the Mexican food. I get the impression that someone in the kitchen actually cares. The waitresses are very good looking and a lot more professional than Hooters. I put this place in the same category as Hooters, Tilted Kilt, Twin Peaks, etc. The outfits here, on their "fun" nights, are better than any of the others. The problem is, sometimes you go in and they are all wearing athletic jerseys or some lame outfit that doesn't give anything but your imagination a workout. And when you go to one of these places, chances are that's not what you are going for. But their food and drink prices are much more reasonable than the others and its not a big chain which I like to support a little more. The last couple times I visited I was blown away by the girls. But the first time, not so much. Lastly, if you have a baby-bring him along as he will probably be an excellent "chick magnet" and really enjoy himself and the attention. My 9 month old might be their biggest fan. Plan on holding them most of the time though, no high chairs and I am certainly not surprised. This place is A W E S O M E!!! I went on a Monday for lunch and I was mesmerized by the lovely staff here! They were all friendly and sweet and they were always in my view because they work hard and are literally ALL OVER the place. The food was phenomenal, I had the steak tacos which were perfect- not too big, not too small. Most of my buddies had the breakfast burrito which looked amazing, and no one had any complaints. This is a great bar/restaurant at all times of the day. I used to work grave yards so I would go around 8am. Every time I come they have great food and drinks. Their bartenders are very friendly and attractive but they keep it classy. I have taken my wife here many times and we have always had a great time, They have car events every once in a while that's worth checking out.
