Beautiful seating area with a fireplace.

Super Quaint!! Lots of different seating areas inside and outside to choose between. Who knew this place existed?? My daughter discovered it and I'm SO glad she did. Their prices are extremely reasonable and their servers are really great. I need to say that their oysters are wonderful. Grilled or raw. Fresh and tasty too!! Almost every person at our table really enjoyed their dishes. The scallop entree was rather sparse with only 3 scallops and was one of the most expensive items on the menu. Absolutely great wine list and fabulous cocktails list to choose from. I had the Key Lime Martini and enjoyed it immensely. I WILL be back!!

Cool east Coast place in Wash Park. The prices were good and the food was hot and tasty. Cocktails were great priced too. Wait staff was nice and attentive. I had the fish and chips and my friend had the lobster roll. Curious if they have live bands, it would be a cool place to have them and hang out.

My husband and I came here the other night to celebrate our two week break from work after discovering they are a part of the Bilt rewards network our landlord Greystar participates in. We get 3x points towards our rent for using partner vendors, such as Lyft, as well. I had been once before as a guest to my friend's daughter's birthday dinner and had the fish and chips. It was great so I thought let's try them again! I'm from NYC and I was craving seafood but my fav Jax in Glendale closed apparently and I didn't want to go to Cherry Creek and pay half my paycheck. Well.. this place has either gone downhill or I should just stick to fish and chips. I ordered the $27 Cioppino and my husband ordered the special $23 Shrimp Scampi. Both flavorless and the seafood was overcooked. Was most definitely NOT flown in fresh like some other places (Rioja, Stoic and Genuine e.g.). The Maryland style crab cakes were not lump and just looked pathetic. Even the special holiday cocktail was pretty bad, too much cranberry juice. Our waitress was lovely and I love the rustic ambiance but it's not enough to justify the prices and the $26 I spent to get a Lyft here from our 9&Co apartment.

Fish and chips (a little overcooked but perfect crust) and crawfish omelette.

Best seat in town? The two high tops next to the front windows, which open wide floor to ceiling, is the perfect place to enjoy a street festival and people watch on the street. Today I had the crawfish omelette. What a great combo of Cajun and French culture--very crawfishy flavor combined with the fluffy eggs and the sauce was perfect. As always, the service is attentive.

This place has never disappointed me in any way. Its casual atmosphere is inviting for any size party with your family or friends or even your date. Seafood that tastes good at affordable prices is what people can go for here. I appreciate the generous Happy Hour menu. Everyday from 3pm to 6pm. With $2 off ALL appetizers, you can share some plates with others as most of them are a good portion. House wines are $5 during HH; if you like white wines go for the refreshing Sauvignon Blanc that is of great quality. Our waiter, Laurent F was so easygoing with us. Attentive, prompt are words I use to describe him as an efficient waiter with very little effort. It was a quick early dinner for us at 4:30pm and we lacked nothing during the time we were there. Shrimp Ceviche was good. I don't necessarily say that it was the best kind I've ever had and yet it surely didn't disappoint us. Max Mussels are a must order item from the menu as it's a good portion. Make sure to eat the soup at the bottom of the bowl once you're done with the mussels; you may have to order more bread to soak it in it!

Alaskan Cod Fish and Chips (this order came with three pieces)

Ordered take out for from max gill and grill. I have mixed reviews on our order. We ordered two of the fish and chips and an order of the calamari. The calamari was good in flavor although some pieces were really rubbery which was disappointing because of the inconsistency and we were a bit disappointed that more than half of the order were mostly fried peppers and not actual calamari. The fish and chips were our biggest disappointment. Usually when you Think of fish and chips, you imagine your fillets of fish and fries. We, however, got more so like fish sticks size pieces. My husbands order had three pieces and mine had only two. I do have to say the flavor was bomb (soooo good abs well seasoned), perfectly cooked, however the size of two fish sticks and getting filled up with fries was a let down. Also it about $17.99 deff not worth it.

I went with a friend for happy hour and was delighted by the experience! The atmosphere is warm and beachy, creating a great vibe for a relaxed outing. Our server, Savannah, was fantastic--she made excellent recommendations and was on top of everything! Their happy hour menu is solid, offering a wide range of food and drinks at reasonable prices, with $2 off all apps, specialty cocktails, and $2 oysters. I ordered a Painkiller, which was perfectly balanced--refreshing with just the right mix of juices and rum. My friend and I shared the French Dip sandwich, Lobster Flatbread, and a few happy hour oysters. The oysters were a bit small but very fresh. The sandwich and flatbread were both delicious, and the kitchen even split the sandwich for us without needing to ask, which we appreciated. They also have great specials throughout the week, like Beer and Burger Mondays, Tiki Tuesdays, Wine Brine and Beer Wednesdays, Thirsty Thursdays, and Hangover Happy Hour on Saturdays and Sundays. The menu is well-rounded and reasonably priced, with options for both seafood and non-seafood lovers. Oh, and happy hour lasts all day on Thursdays!

Service was fantastic and the restaurant is adorable. We visited on Thursday when they had an all day happy hour so well drinks were only $5 - great deal! We started with the baked Asiago crab dip and man, was it filling! We barely had room for actual dinner. Fun appetizer but not the best I've ever had. The hot lobster roll was alright, bread was light and pillowy and lobster was just fine. However, the french fries were perfectly crunchy. The fish tacos had a nice (possibly tempera) breading and were tasty. The asparagus side was pretty pathetic. Side of mac & cheese was large for the price and quite good! I'll be back during happy hour or a football game to order some other things on the menu and enjoy their TVs.

This place has been on our "to go" list for a long time, however it wasn't actually until getting a discount through Offline we decided to go. Ambience is great, really a fun quirky place inside! Service was also good and very fast, however, our entrees came out WAY too fast as we were only partly through our appetizer. I got the key lime martini which was really tasty and my fiancé got a traditional margarita which was very strong! We then shared the mussels as our appetizer, and it's a really good amount! They were good, a few overly fishy ones but that was definitely the minority. We then got the shrimp po boy which was massive with old bay fries, and the green chile lobster Mac and cheese, which was all really yummy! I would return again and am definitely interested in sitting in another room because they all look so fun and unique!

This will likely be my last review for 2024, and I couldn't be happier it was here! We have been coming here for over 10 years for mostly special occasions, but also for just great food and cozy atmosphere. I find it unique because there is an island/dockside feel to the place, but a cozy warm place in the winter. No matter what the season, they do a wonderful job taking care of us and serving up awesome food! Noise level for a Monday at 5pm was very tolerable, even as the place started getting busier. Easy to hear each other and chat. My all time favorite here is the lobster Mac & Cheese with hatch green chili. It is the best I have had anywhere (including Maine.) Usually there is enough to take home, but since it has been awhile, I took no hostages. Parking can be a challenge and I would recommend leaving yourself plenty of time to drive around to find a spot. There were plenty of lucky folks that got good places, but it was when I was driving the other way. This is one of those places you can wear comfortable clothes, shorts, tees or your suit and anything in between. I have never felt out of place because of what I had on. Check it out, this place is one of my top favorites!

Absolutely Exceptional…read more Jack's on Pearl exceeded every expectation. As Texas transplants, we've enjoyed some incredible steakhouses over the years and have traveled extensively, but this was truly one of the best dining experiences we've had. We even drove up from Colorado Springs for our 18th wedding anniversary, and it was worth every mile. We started with the wedge salad, which was fresh, crisp, and packed with flavor--easily one of the best wedge salads we've ever had. The warm bread service was incredible and paired perfectly with the house-made spreads. The mac and cheese was rich, creamy, and absolutely unforgettable. The highlight of the evening was the Wagyu steak topped with cheesy potato croquettes. It was cooked to perfection and so tender it practically melted in your mouth. Every bite was packed with incredible flavor and was one of those dishes you continue talking about long after the meal is over. What impressed us most was that every single item we ordered was exceptional. The quality of the ingredients, attention to detail, presentation, atmosphere, and service were all top-notch. After reading some of the reviews beforehand, we weren't sure what to expect. In our experience, this restaurant is incredibly underrated. Our meal, service, and overall experience were outstanding from start to finish. If you're looking for a special dinner, anniversary celebration, or simply one of the best meals you'll have in Colorado, Jack's on Pearl is absolutely worth the visit. We will definitely be back and will be recommending it to friends and family. Thank you to the entire team for making our 18th anniversary so memorable. -- Andrea & Sergio

I will say for the oyster deal it has been good, but sometimes the oysters aren't cleaned well. Again a hit and miss. The ambiance is nice and soothing, very ocean blue. We have also tried some sides and other entrees. The shrimp entree was good but lacked some salt. The burger was amazing with the bacon jam and always have the best shoestring fries. I also got an order of the crispy rice that has a salmon and a tuna. The salmon was way too sweet and had a fishy aftertaste that I disliked. The truffle tuna was definitely the better one of the two. However, the rice itself was absolutely mushy and not necessarily crispy. It also didn't have the best flavor. Desserts tried were the olive oil orange cake and the brownie. both are OK and nice and sweet, but not something I would spend money on Overall, truly think this place is a hit and miss. Service was excellent. Our waitress had high positive energy and staff worked as a team. Minor mistakes were no big deal, and somewhat charming and impressive in the way it was handled. Sourdough bread for starters. I made the silly mistake of scraping off the top of the butter and getting an incredibly salty bite. The next time, I stuck my knife into the butter and scooped some out. That was much better. I got the burger and fries, which were fine and on par for what I would expect at a nice establishment. The mac and cheese side was okay, maybe a little disappointing. The filet mignon was cooked so perfectly. Maybe sous vide? Just executed incredibly well. Shrimp, I wasn't crazy about. It tasted like shrimp and it was good, I guess. The sauce that came with the steak was killer on my burger. We don't sauce our steak, so I experimented on burger because it came with steak anyway. Sauce was like some sort of concoction with worcestershire (spelling?). Maybe if you get a burger, ask for steak sauce haha. Chocolate lava cake was what anyone might expect... tasty crowd pleaser. They are going for a fine dining theme but it is closer to nicer casual with fine dining prices. Upon walking in, there was an electric violinist that was doing covers of rap and pop songs. It was off putting to say the least. Then half way through our dinner, the electric violinist was swapped out for a DJ that was doing remixes of again rap and pop songs. It was all too loud in my opinion as well. The food was very mediocre. We started off with sourdough bread and salted butter. The bread had a very very hard exterior. Next were the west coast oysters... at $5/oyster! That's probably some of the highest prices I've paid for oysters and they were decent but had a lot of shell chips within the oysters. The butternut squash ravioli was good but overly rich to my taste; I was only able to eat a few due to how rich it was. The clam chowder base was tasty but there were barely any clams in it. We decided to splurge a little and ordered the tomahawk steak with lobster. It was interesting. I've never had a steak so expensive but so flavorless. I think they were trying to minimize the amount of seasoning on it to accentuate the steak's natural flavor but it just did not have any. The lobster was good. The vegetables had a cheap sauce taste to it. Asparagus was decent. The service was good. Eloise was our server and she did a good job with her recommendations and checking in on us. Although I did feel like she was a bit too casual for the fine dining theme they're striving for.

Stellar restaurant with amazing, inventive food and fantastic ambiance and service…read more I went with a few people and some of our favorites Filet - while not in the Latin theme of this restaurant, just stellar Lomo - stir-fry tenderloin on amazing rice Chicken - Latin inspired spices done really well Ceviche - many different options, all unique and well done Corn Soup - poured tableside, one of the best I had The Bomba Dessert is a great presentation but the mismatch of flavors and textures just did not work for us. Yuzu Cake - fantastic texture and taste Lava Cake - was giving off unusual banana notes Definitely a place that I will return. Valet parking available as well as meter and further free street parking.

Great dinner at Toro Latin Kitchen with a large group, and everyone left happy…read more We started with the sweet corn empanadas, the clear highlight of the apps, sweet, warm, and perfectly crisp on the outside. Beef tartare was close behind, finely diced and well-seasoned. The guacamole was fresh and chunky, the prawns had a nice char, and the Amarillo ceviche brought a bright, citrusy heat from the aji amarillo peppers that balanced beautifully against the cool, tender fish. But the real highlight of the night was the steaks. My skirt steak was cooked perfectly, well-charred outside and tender inside, paired with the potatoes three ways, crispy, creamy, and roasted, each with its own texture and seasoning. Even better was the tomahawk ribeye, flambéed tableside in mezcal, a great bit of theater with a smoky, slightly sweet flame that infused the meat. I got lucky enough to try a bite. Rich, buttery, and delicious with heavy rosemary. A real treat. Service was a bit spotty for our group. I won't go into details, but our server disappeared for long stretches and it took a long time to finally get our entrees. This was likely because of our specific server.

My lobster roll was quite delicious, and the price was good/average…read more It was $45 for the larger Bar Harbor lobster roll combo, including a Diet Coke and potato chips. This is a boring casual place in Denver. So I took the food to go and ate outside on a bench - a beautiful afternoon - and I went across the street and picked up two cans of white wine at Whole Foods

Well, this is a mixed review as some of my visit was good, some not so good…read more I saw this on my Yelp app shortly after I arrived in Denver, and while lobster is my favorite food, I am always a bit dubious to eating lobster in a beef eating place like Colorado! Still, it sounded great and I made my way there with a coworker on my last day in Denver. We walked in and there was no one there, but it was past lunch. It was bright and looked like other lobster roll restaurants I have been to in Boston. We looked at the menu and both ordered the same thing- a hot Connecticut Roll with a side cup of Clam Chowder. We sat down and waited as the 2 staff prepared our food, and while we the only ones in there, every table was dirty, so we hesitatingly sat down at the cleanest one and waited. A few minutes later, they brought our food out to us, but we had to ask her to clean the table, which she quickly got a bottle of spray and a towel and wiped our table down. I dove into the Clam Chowder and was immediately disappointed- it was barely even warm, thin, watery and without flavor. I tried to spice it up with salt, pepper and hot sauce to no avail. Now, the lobster roll was a different story- bun toasted perfectly, the lobster meat layered inside with hot butter, I took a bite and was in heaven. The roll was good, so that saved the day- I would not order the chowder again, though. I sent to the bathroom to wash my hands and was immediately hit with the stench of sewer, so that was a real turnoff. This could be a 5 star place if they fixed the simple things. I would only come back here to get a lobster roll to go.
