Came to their new location this week for dinner with a friend. It's bigger than their old space and is decorated with an Italian feel. Their gluten free pizza was okay, they pile on the toppings so that helps take away the gluten free taste of it lol. However they charge $3 extra dollars for gluten free crust if it's a small pizza. I think we were charged $5 extra for our medium that we shared. Really unfortunate that it's significantly more spendy than regular crust, but when you have health problems I guess you pay what you have to in order to eat without getting sick. They had gluten free pasta and risotto options as well but I didn't try those. Parking sucks because it's on the Main Street downtown so if you come for dinner be prepared. read more

We had the chicken Parmesan and it was great..no angel hair pasta so we had to settle for the spaghetti but it was more than enough for 2 Also had the Lasagna, even tho it wasn't homemade, it was still really good and rich. I've ordered from Romeo's before and it's been decent. Today one of my salad dressing had something black in it. Only I didn't notice it until after it was on my salad. I called. I ordered a cheese pizza and added my own toppings for delivery. Half pepperoni and half green pepper, onion, garlic, and olives. The pizza crust was uncooked. I'm pregnant so I can't take risks with food, it was basically like gum. My husband popped the whole pizza back in the oven. In addition, the toppings on the veggie side of the pizza were very roughly cut. Usually the chop is roughly the same size and small like a fingernail, but some of the pieces of green pepper were the size of a finger and very oddly cut. The pizza was gross. We also ordered fettuccine alfredo with shrimp added. This was cooked fine. Won't be ordering from here again. read more

Just flew into SeaTac, making our way up the freeway to Bellingham. Looking for a quick lunch in Everett and found this wonderful gem! The restaurant was so incredibly clean and warmly decorated. What looked like brand new floors in dark wood color accented the warm wall colors. Simple art decorated the walls. We were seated quickly and graciously by our host who asked where we would prefer to sit. We ordered the tortellini special with its lite cream sauce with peas and smoky ham. It was served with a perfectly seasoned garlic toast. My companion ordered the Olympian pizza. Sauce is slightly sweet tomato sauce with plenty of toppings and generous toasted cheese. We dove in so fast I forgot to take a photo! When I went to the ladies room, upon return I noticed I was missing quite a few tortellini! Both dishes were a hit with both of us. The Alfredo sauce was creamy and a little hint of garlic, noodles weren't over cooked and it was topped with a good amount of cheese and baked to perfection, it also comes with a side salad and garlic bread,ore than enough to share or for two meals..I will definitely be making this a weekly lunch option and you should too. read more

The reason I give this place one star was because of their buffalo wings. The wings tasted like they were store bought (like Tyson frozen wings), and I had the feeling that they would just simply cook that in the oven. They didn't taste like they were homemade, and the wings weren't fresh. They were watery, squishy, and had a weird flavor. I have to say they had the worst chicken wings in all the pizza places I've had them deliver to my house. Heck, even Pizza Hut's wings beat Romios. However, I have to say that their spaghetti were very good and delicious and full of flavor. The noodles were cooked well, the meatballs were tender and bursting with flavor, and the tomato sauce was just the right consistency. As a final note, don't ever get their wings. Beautiful inside. Clean bathrooms. Inside could use a tv or two. My calzone was extremely lacking tomato sauce though. The veggies they used were sparse (Greek calzone) other than the olives. The prices were higher in restaurant than the menus posted on here; must be to pay for their reno. They look the part but the food misses the spot. Worst calzone I've had. I ordered a pizza for pickup from their web page and it was interesting. The ordering process revealed that even if you go to the trouble of driving to their location and going inside to pick up your pizza, you are still going to pay a delivery fee. Granted it's only a buck but still sort of annoying to have to pay it. Since I'm delivering the pizza to myself maybe *I* should be the one getting paid a delivery fee... Anyway, the pizza was okay and the very polite service from the staff was great, but I don't think I'll be a repeat customer until the COVID-19 issue gets ironed out 'cause it's too much hassle to try and do any restaurant thing other drive thru right now. read more

We parked a block away to find its up the street at 2714 Colby. I wouldn't of cared however, it was cold & windy out. We could've parked right in front! The service & food was great! But the music is loud & sorta strange. From Kim Carnes/Abba era to Sam Mendes? Thinking a nice Italian music or smooth jazz would create a much nicer dining vibe. Based on appearances the food we recieved was plentiful and if I could just judge that cheese bread I'd give it another star. Unfortunately I cannot judge on 1 appetizer alone because we got 3 individual meals. It is quite possible that this was just an off day for their base sauce. Anything could happen. I might try again but sadly, I'd be alone in my re-adventure because there is no way my husband would ever agree to go back. So the only reason for the low star rating is the sauce was waaaaaayyyy tooo salty. The teenager (who eats anything) couldn't get through even half of his lasagna because it was too salty. Since we couldn't fix the lasagna we had to throw it out. Sad. I got the eggplant parm and it was pretty rubbery and dry and my husband got the spaghetti bolognese and it was too salty. A recent transplant to the area, I had been missing the ease that GH provided on nights when cooking or pick-up just weren't an option. It seems like right now only 5 places within the delivery area participate in this service. Anyway, enough about GrubHub and on to the pizza. I decided to order a large specialty pizza because it came with a free Caesar salad. All told, my meal came to about $25. The pizza was more than enough for two people to eat for dinner, with a slice leftover. The larger-than-expected salad will be portioned out for my lunch over the next couple days (bonus). The pizza was actually quite good. I decided to go with the Putanessca and requested that they leave the olives off half; happy to report that they got that right - something that often gets forgotten on a delivery order. The toppings were all tasty and amply. The cheese wasn't overly-heavy, and the sauce was really tasty. Most importantly, the crust was good - not too thin, not too thick. Nice amount of crunch. I think the pizza on it's own would probably be a solid 4, but I rate this place a 5 for value, taste, ease of ordering, using online ordering when most of its peers aren't (which I love), and extremely fast delivery. I dined at Romio's January 3, 2019. I ordered gluten free pizza for myself. My friend ordered spaghetti and meatballs. When the pizza arrived at the table, it was quite evident the whole thing was burnt. I told the waitress and she told me it was not burnt, that's just the way it comes from oven. I decided to try to eat some of it, but couldn't. Waitress returned, restated that the food item was not burnt, and then she brought out her supervisor. They made me a new pizza this time the cheese was almost burnt but edible. The crust on the other hand, was not cooked through. The meatballs were also burnt, black as coal and weighty like a hockey puck. Though my friend declined to complain, I'm complaining here! A meatball should be fresh! This all means that they have a VERY POOR kitchen manager, their pizza oven is incorrectly adjusted, and their waitstaff needs improvement. They recently moved to a new space and I wonder if they are out of capital They need Gordon Ramsey to tell them to serve fresh food or close up shop. read more

Ugh! I have had Romio's from the Silverlake location and it was amazing. I recently moved north and ordered it from this location on Colby... just awful. I picked up the pizza, brought it home and the crust was NOT cooked, at all. The dough was so raw you could mold it like play dough. I get it, things happen. So I called and let them know and they said they would make another pizza. I let them know that if that was their standard, to please make the next one "well done". I drive back to the pizza place for the second time, get home, and the pizza was the exact same!!!! I was SO frustrated. After an hour of waiting on a pizza to eat, I ended up throwing the second one into my own over to cook it properly. Needless to say, I won't be ordering from there again. read more

I have been here twice before for pizza, and it was okay both times. This last time it was awful and I would never go there again. (Saturday afternoon) I asked for a well done crispy crust on my pizza and a friend ordered the chicken parmesan. The pizza, if you held a slice in your hand, the crust flopped over and the toppings would fall off. the toppings were also burnt. The chicken parmesan...well.. no words can describe ..it was a breast I think (pretty dark in the restaurant) and the end was completely burnt and hard. the rest of the breast was tough as could be. it was clear that this was not fresh or not freshly cooked that day, and was microwaved. They did take the chicken dish off the check, but left the pizza and said they were sorry. Neither of us finished our meal. read more

So why only 3 stars when what I'm describing is clearly above average? Two reasons. The first is because you pay above average - and for this pay-grade their pizza is only average. The second is because their other entrees (calzones, burgers, etc) are just not that good.
