Surprisingly good for a place that shares its space with a gas station. Not gourmet by any means but for the price and miles this place has from our southern border, it was better than I expected. Stopped in here when I stayed next door on my way through town. A very convenient location and comfy little spot with a bar top almost like an old soda fountain. I got a huge vegetarian burrito for only $4.99. I would have preferred some sautéed veggies inside, but due to the sour cream, guac, lettuce and salsa being main ingredients, it made the burrito pretty cold to eat. It was a gigantic portion though. It was pretty tasty and I got to choose my salsa from the salsa bar they have -- including marinated carrots, which are great additions to any burrito. Service was fast and friendly. I would come back and try something else as well. My go-to stop half way between Medford and PDX. Great food at a great price. Really, three amazing gringo-style tacos (incl. lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar) for 5 bucks!? Awesome! Go further north and you'll pay that PER frikin' taco at Tacovore or at Por Que, No. You can't even get close to that price/quantity even at shitty-ass Taco Bell. There are already two Mexican restaurants in Sutherlin so I thought I would try the newest and third addition. There were only two customers and 3 staff. The customer service was excellent. If for that alone I would give it five stars. The downside is that while the food was prepared rapidly and I didn't have to wait for my order, the food is bland and lukewarm at best especially if you're expecting hot food. It was bland in flavor and barely warm. I would have put it in the microwave or oven to heat more but it was a to go order. read more

Don't let the location steer you away. REALLY good, authentic Mexican food. I tried the carnitas, adobada and carne asada tacos. All were really good. Toss up between the adobada and carnitas for my favorite. Tacos are a generous size and come with guacamole. Surprisingly good taqueria I happened upon while stopping for gas on a long trip - as good as some San Francisco taquerias. Very friendly server. Horchata wasn't watery, and tortilla on the burrito was toasted on the grill, which is the #1 sign to me that a taqueria is going the extra mile for you. read more

Been here twice in two weeks while traveling to Eugene and grants pass. Hands down best Mexican food so far. Had the Carnitas soft tacos, perfect crisp and huge. Had the hard shell tacos and fish taco, about as close to Baja tacos as you'll get up here. Can't wait to try the menudo but all the salsas are really good too. read more

Passable and authentic Mexican food adjoined to a gas station convenience store. Lengua tacos were great. Carnitas tacos were ok. As some people mentioned, too much ice cold guac and lettuce made the carnitas taco too cold. Chile relleno was just so-so. Would reorder tacos again but not the chile relleno. Came to town and wanted to try something new so checked them out. We felt the food was very good and the service was helpful and friendly. Definitely will be a place we will return to in the future.
