Yum. We were in town for weekend and the weather was crappy. Rain rain rain. We had all kinds of plans but who wants to go out in the rain. So we were staying a few miles up the road from this spot. We came for breakfast and dinner in the same day despite the restaurant that was right in the hotel lobby. Breakfast: my guy n me too are pretty particular on eats. We asked ten thousand questions. Changed our order a few times. Staff was fast n friendly. We had the dollar size pancakes sausage, eggs, n the best homefries i have had in a while. I mean a good while. That food was hot seasoned n very darn good. I took my leftovers home n warmed up those home fries this morning trying to figure out how they got them so tender but crispy. Pancakes are the bomb. So failing at getting a reservation at Benihanas. Thank goodness I hate that place but babe loves it. We ordered from here again for dinner. Catfish n hushpuppies were delicious. Got a side of hummus. Yummy. Babe got lamb chops n he wasn't as pleased but loved his side salad n baked potato. I added on some brownies. Delicious also. Staff thanked us for coming back so soon. Spent $30 for dinner for 2 v $100 at Benihanas n got back early to enjoy our in room jacuzzi with no 2 hour wait. My guy did not mind missing Benihana. Recommended if your in the area. Especially breakfast.

Had breakfast here one frigid, snowy morning. Ordered the Spinach and Swiss omelette - added mushrooms and onions to the omelette, plus a side of corned beef hash and coffee. Everything was pretty tasty. Hash had a nice crisp layer on top - just the way I like it. Coffee was pretty good. Service was friendly. I'd eat here again. Please note they do not accept American Express here.

    Combination breakfast!

The confirmation text didn't come through until we were already inside, which might be bad reception, but it almost cost us the table. Then they sat us right across from the back kitchen entrance. Banging, yelling, and an open doorway into the kitchen. Off-putting, especially with better seating clearly open. The food keeps the rating up. I did not expect a wings place, but the smoked wings were my favorite, right amount of crispy with good smoke. The sauce list is long and I couldn't pick a favorite. The ranch tasted house-made and it was amazing. The chikin soho was the other standout. Honey ginger glaze, chili dijon slaw, and pickles that all work together. Misses: the brisket nachos needed fresh guac and actual brisket, since there was barely any. The 6 cheese mac was fine but not worth ordering again. Prices were right for what it is, a bistro concept. It's in Wayne, which surprised me since I didn't know spots like this existed out here. Wide enough menu that I'll be back. Next time I'm speaking up about the seating.

The grits in particular were excellent! My mom liked her potatoes but she did say she was a little jealous of the grits and took a few forkfuls from me. The benedict was also very good, served on a biscuit rather than the traditional english muffin, which I liked very much. Mine was a little light on the hollandaise so I would ask for a bit more of that next time. I also had an iced frozen latte which was quite good! Like many folks right now we're avoiding raw mixed greens so we both skipped those with our meals but even without it was still plenty of food. We also ordered beignets, a mix of powdered sugar and cinnamon sugar, with chocolate and foster's sauce (caramel) on the side. To me the beignets read more like a popover than a beignet but they were still good. Loved that they came warm and the foster's sauce was really nice! Our server was awesome and checked in on us regularly. Food came quickly, too. We did have to wait about 30 minutes for a table but it wasn't too bad and they'll take your number so you don't have to stay too close if you'd prefer to wait in your car (not much else to do around there, unless you're feeling like browsing Office Max next door). Overall a very solid dining experience and we both remarked we'd be eager to return again soon!

We placed our order and when the food arrived, all of us where excited. The food looked and tasted great. Hats off to the chef. We had a table full of pancakes, French toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, and drinks. By time we were ready to go, the waitress seemed in a better mood. Maybe she was having a rough start to her day. I commented on her earrings to make her smile. Although the experience wasn't the best initially, we all have "off" days and i wont hold it against them. The food is delicious and I will be back.

I asked the hostess about my group and if I should take them elsewhere as they kept seating people behind us in line. She responded and said "it will be more time for your group.
