I wanted to thank Jana and her husband Austin. They were very professional. When our HVAC stopped working last summer August 2025, we were desperate because we all know how much it cost to have a new HVAC. We have solar panels so Jana suggested we get a new HVAC pump (all electric). She walked me thru the process. It was one of the best decisions we ever made. Incredible service! Austin is the absolute best and Jana is great at coordinating all the visits. Approximately 5 years ago, Austin replaced our AC unit and I referred him to my parents home. My parents were also very pleased with their professionalism and their expertise. Recently, my parents air conditioner quit working and they decided to replace it. This morning, Austin arrived and explained to my father (in detail!) that is was not necessary to replace the entire unit! Austin did a repair instead, and it's working great! I cannot say enough good things about Steve from Ronnie Jones AC & Heating. We had some conflicts in the beginning with the scheduling but Steve was able to adjust his schedule and come out and fix my A/C problem for me. This was on a Friday and had he not been able to accommodate me we would have been suffering over the weekend in the heat with no A/C. Steve was very amenable, friendly and most of all professional. Steve professionally diagnosed my A/C system and fixed it expeditiously. Steve also did the little things that makes him and his company unique in the industry that he noticed that the inlet to my freon system was missing the bib caps and retrieved two caps from his truck to replace them just to make sure that there was no accidental leaks of freon from my system which would then be expensive. In the middle of the heatwave we experienced this summer, our air conditioner stopped working. We immediately called the company who serviced the unit prior to us buying our house. They said it would be weeks before they could come out to look at it. Upon speaking to a close friend about our situation, she told us to call Ronnie Jones. First thing in the morning we called, and we were told he could be out in a few hours, same day! Ronnie showed up when he said and immediately identified the issue as a bad control board on a 24 year old unit. He advised replacing the unit because it was well past its lifespan. It had stopped working every summer since we moved in, so we made the decision to replace it. He said Jana would be contacting us to get the ball rolling. Jana worked up quotes on four different units and sent them over with a detailed explanation of how she arranged the quotes. We chose our package (their prices were very competitive), and she proceeded with the order. Once everything was in stock less than 2 weeks later, Jana contacted us and scheduled the installation for the next week. On installation day, Austin and Jake arrived on time and immediately got to work. They were hard workers who kept us updated along the way. They both were very friendly, efficient, and respectful of our home. The entire install only took a day and a half. Before leaving for the day, they made sure we were comfortable in understanding the system and answered all the questions we had. Jana was the one who kept the entire process moving smoothly and efficiently. She was so patient in answering all of our questions and prompt in her communication. She even helped us through the process of registering our new AC warranty, so it was done correctly. Our new AC functions perfectly, is quiet when running, and is much more efficient than the tired old unit. Start to finish, the team was a pleasure to work with. I do not recommend using this company!! Was provided this company by my home insurance company to service my ac. They sent out Steve three times as he was the only one servicing the area, he has no customer service skills. He's rude, liar, and make you feel dumb when asking questions. I wouldn't be asking questions if I wasn't the professional, I would've done everything all on my own ! He kept telling me my Freon didn't have a leak. A week after his last visit ( still having issues) we called for another company and turns out my Freon had a leak. Also the new company checked other parts of the house that could potentially have been a problem. Now we know the real issue at hand and get it fixed. Steve mentioned there was no leak at all and that my ac unit was simply old and there was absolutely nothing else I can do! The company quoted me a ridiculous amount to replace my unit. They also stated my insurance would not cover anything for the new ac unit and I would need to pay out of pocket. I then called my insurance company and they stated the report from Steve never was even submitted for anything. Which he stated he did. My insurance company also stated I would indeed be covered for replacement. Again, another lie. Steve also said if we put another service call he would tell the company he works for there is nothing else he can do and he would not come out again. Since he had already came out three times. Such terrible service. Not only did Steve not look presentable whatsoever he also seemed as he hated his job and everyone around him. Again, never will I ever do service with such a terrible dishonest company again. read more

We used We Care for inspecting our A/C and heater units, taking advantage of Costco's inspection deal. Based on their review and offers (3 options) we could have spent over $5,000 to fix their reported issues. We then used our Home Warranty to get units checked for reported problems. Ronnie Jones came to inspect and showed us that there was nothing wrong with either unit as demonstrated visually and with measurements. Firstly we were relieved that nothing was wrong. Had Ronnie come out for a home warranty claim. My upstairs AC unit was not cooling. We have it set at 72 and it won't go passed 78, despite tinted windows upstairs and blackout curtains. Ronnie runs some tests and then tells me I'm just using my AC wrong and that it's not designed to get passed 75. And that I need to run both the downstairs unit and upstairs simultaneously to get them to work right. Then he tells me how long he's been in the industry so he knows. Sorry, no. Something obviously has changed. Never was an issue before, now it's an issue. That's what you're being paid to diagnose. I've lived in this house for 15 summers. I have 15 years of specific experience with this equipment. I actually know what it can do, and how it normally operates, because I've been here every summer for the last 15 years. Are you really saying suddenly the problem is that I don't know how to set it correctly? Give me a break. If you're too lazy to find the problem, that's on you. Or maybe it's arrogance. Our AC went out just before the heat wave and I reached out to our home warranty. The bid went to Ronnie Jones AC and they were able to diagnose the issue in just an hour. A detailed report with many pictures was sent to both myself and the home warranty company with recommendations. It was prepared in such a way that even a layman could understand. In the end, our AC unit needed to be replaced along with some electrical work up in the attic. Austin came back out and installed the new unit, completed the electrical work and gave me some great advice to prolong the lifespan of our new unit. Hands down the most honest and integral AC guy around! I though my compressor possibly broke. Ronnie came out and found that it was a breaker issue on the breaker box. 2 weeks ago during the heat wave, our air conditioning went out. We called Ronnie Jones in the late afternoon and our technician came out the next day. Within 30 minutes he had the air back on, cleaned and tuned up the outside fan unit. It's been running like a champ ever since. During this visit he noticed that our previous home owners hard wired a fuse box that was not to code.
