    Chicken Sausage Royale
    Ernest R.

A Yelp find that peeked my interest with their Cinnamon Roll Pancakes and Chicken Sausage Royale Bowl. Of course I ordered as well as consumed both right here on the spot. The Cinnamon Roll Pancakes were a delight. Fluffy Light warm and tasty with the drizzle across the top surface. Were delicious and not as sweet as I assumed. Actually came out perfect even after barely adding syrup. Simply delish. The service was more than helpful. The Staff are Friendly Professional and Competent. The diner gives off that Ole School eats vibe and is a pleasant experience. Several customers were seated when I arrived and you could tell who were regulars. Says a lot. And it's not just hype. The food is really good. The Chicken Sausage Royale had a medley of flavors complimenting a dish that went together well with Hollandaise Sauce in between the Egg Scramble and Brown Rice (at the bottom). They offered a Spicy Hot Sauce (house made) that added kick pairing and enhancing the Smokey (Tuscan like) Flavors that inundated (in a good way) the dish. Another delicious bite for certain. Will surely return and am glad I found this on Yelp. Gratitude and give thanks to Ronnie's Diner and Staff for a great meal experience and homely warm service. See you soon.

Food was good, parking lot is a decent size, discount for cash payment, was able to call in and order ahead. Service was quick and staff up front were kind. The breakfast burrito gives you two kinda small size burritos, my only complaint is how tiny the burritos were. I got beans as my side, then added potato's as well. I added potatoes to my breakfast chorizo burrito and it was good. Again my only complaint is the baby burrito size that is like the size of a microwave burrito. Still good though worth a try

Great burger I ordered but wish I had more onions I love these old coffee shops that are neighborhood staples.

    Chilaquiles

Haven't been here since last time I came to LA over five years ago. Food is good just like before and service was good. Had chilaquiles for breakfast they were nice and crispy came with a side of black beans and pico de de Galloway as well as sour cream. Their coffee was good an strong. It was a bit loud due to families with kids.

My first time here and I was impressed! The service was good, and fast. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. They also have an outdoor patio area. The food was really good! I highly recommend the chilaquiles. Didn't wait that long to get our food which was very nice and unusual haha. They have 2 tvs inside but don't work well who h they should fix the antena, signal was horrible. The ambience was very nice and very friendly, props to them! Will be returning again soon!!

Ambiance: it's a classic diner place located in a small plaza, shared parking lot with few other merchants, casual vibes and loud noises inside Service: very fast and friendly, served water and food promptly Food & Drink: plenty of choices for breakfast and brunch Eggs Benedict - *** Poached eggs served with grilled ham on an English muffin topped with Hollandaise sauce, average taste Grits - **** warm, recommend Bacon Avocado Burrito - *** Cheddar, avocado, bacon, and onion, served in two small wraps Homestyle Potatoes - ** served cold, tasted old and mushy Price: very affordable prices with hearty portions, expect $20 per person, and there's cash discount price

Pretty decent breakfast and convenient location near Del Rey that is walkable for me. It was packed with weekend brunch diners and is bright and cheerful inside. Cinnamon Roll pancakes were a fun twist (large serving) and chilaquiles tasted good but had way more eggs and beans than chips and sauce so not my favorite version of that dish. Service was pretty slow to come to our table after we sat down and others who were seated after us were served 5 mins before us but after taking our order the server was more attentive.

Damn good breakfast! I rarely eat breakfast, but this was amazing! Fastest service ever! Freshly made, great cappuccino and family atmosphere. Dont skip this one!

I was in La for the weekend and before I left I needed something to refuel me before a long drive. I searched up something nearby and found Ronnie's. The place is in a shopping small but they have plenty of parking. Inside they do have bar seating and also booths. We sat down and after a quick skim of the menu I went with the eggs Benedict. I was a little mad they don't have hash browns but oh well, so I got the diced potatoes. The food looked good but was very tasteless. The hollandaise side did not have any flavor nor did the potatoes. The Chicken club didn't have much flavor either. Only had two out of the four pieces and left the rest. The servers checked in a lot which was good.

Check that box off here. Very clean. So far so good. Menu was a tad limited. Not a lot of choices. Waitress suggested a secret menu item " The Patty Melt" Wife requested it be cooked medium. Me, I ordered Medium rare. Patty Melts showed up. Well, Well, Well done. Patty melt had onions and special sauce. Was a surprise to me. You would think that with a limited menu the cook would be really good at making a hamburger. And yes I certainly could have done a better job. Was a cook at a high volume restaurant for years and neither of these burgers would have gone out of our kitchen. Had actual pride in what we put out. Very disappointing visit. The 101 was pretty good. Clark Street not so much. Won't be returning here. Overpriced, Overcooked and just plain old disappointing. BTW- It was not busy at all. This was my experience on our visit. Your may be different.

You can go to a run down old diner in any city, but this is the city of the stars. On this trip even though we were already heading to the establishment it must have been an extra slow day because someone was out on the boulevard trying to direct traffic to the restaurant. About 1/3 of the tables were full when we walked in, and it took a few minutes for us to be seen and seated. The wait staff is perhaps a bit understaffed to really be at their best. Our server did not explain much to us as far as the jukebox at our table, if we could use it and how... it would have been nice to know that. I ordered a Caesar salad and a coffee milkshake. When the server asked me if I wanted a small or large salad I asked what the difference in size was, since it wasn't explained on the menu to which they just kind of shrugged at me. Regardless of the perhaps lackluster service I really loved my food, the true, lived in vintage aesthetic and overall experience. Is 10.25 perhaps a bit expensive for a milkshake, i'd say so....but considering the overpriced reality of any trip to Hollywood I think it's something I would not regret spending my money on. Even though I can see why someone would rate this spot a 3, I simply cannot let my own rating fall below a 5 because I know the next time I'm in town it will be looming in my mind as the ideal place to feed my belly and nostalgic heart.

The portions are huge, the place is cute as all get out, and there's almost always seating. They have options for literally every dietary need, for an LA affordable price and quick service. Everyone is so kind and you can tell the place runs like the staple it is. The only downside is sides: there's only paid or street parking which gets crazy for Los Feliz. And I don't believe the bathroom would be accessible for a wheelchair user due to a narrow door. While it doesn't personally affect me, I could see it being an issue for anyone not in a compact chair or able to transfer/walk a few steps. You are however still able to get inside the restaurant and sit on the patio otherwise. Overall I highly recommend if you can!
