Excellent customer service, communication, and work! Contacted Ken about repairing roof coping that had been badly damaged in previous storms due to heavy winds. His foreman stopped by that same day, and I received a reasonable estimate that evening. Ken walked me through the coping specs and what to expect with the removal and installation process. Since I had only contacted him a couple days before a major storm to hit the area, he didn't think he'd be able to get the work done before the storm, so he suggested a competitor who might be able to. As it turns out, Ken was less expensive and provided more coverage in the estimated repairs that the competitor couldn't. Additionally, the competitor couldn't do the work for another couple weeks. I contacted Ken again to secure a contract for his next available repair date after the storm. Ken was actually more concerned about the repairs being done before the big snow storm hit, so he promptly scheduled an emergency repair without any additional cost. The work was done professionally, and within a day of signing the contract and well before the storm. I'm very pleased at the communication, honesty, value, and quality of the work performed by Ken and his team. Called Ken on Friday afternoon about a sudden leak, and he came out himself on Sunday morning to check it out. The recent wind storm caused some damage to the roof,and there was a loud noise banging on the roof all night. After researching roofs and vendors I got 5 quotes, I hired Roof.Net to replace my 3-story townhouse roof because: 1.Ken explained in detail what was involved and the materials he used (I had a list of recommended/quality materials and he uses them all normally); 2.the company had good reviews on several sites (which I read over 50+) and 3.the price was Very competitive. Plus they were able to start work the next week. Once they were here, I was extremely impressed. Alexander, Jose and Nelson were hard working, polite, cleaned up thoroughly, were respectful of garden and property, and answered all my questions/concerns. Ken, again, explained everything. There was an issue (my fault) with a bathroom exhaust vent pipe and Ken comped the vent cover which involved cutting plywood with a smaller sized hole than existed and buying a vent cover that would work. Clunking noises and shakes coming from my 15+ years old roof has gotten to the point where I need to drink a Monster + coffees to just stay awake during day from the lack of sleep at night. Finally finding some sunlight time to look at the top of my roof, I noticed that one of the ridge vents was practically coming off. Knowing that the winter is coming soon, I needed to get the problem fixed asap. As someone who considers himself to be an informed consumer, I spent about a day learning as much as possible about the repair/replacement of ridge vents, roof, etc. With the information/knowledge in hand, I started searching for a knowledgable, experienced, reputable, and HONEST contractor who can not only repair/replace the ridge vent but also uncover any other problems + investigate the overall condition of the roof. After spending another day or so browsing Angie's List and Yelp.com, I narrowed my focus to about 5 potential contractors. Among them, Ken at Roof.net was the first person to respond (two others didn't even call me back even though I requested an emergency reply via their website), and offered to come out to investigate the problem early next morning. Once I met him in person and listening his analysis/recommendation + fair estimate (he discovered a few other issues with my roof like a cracked exhaust fan vent), I made the quick (normally people blame me for being too slow with making decisions) choice to go ahead with Roof.net to fix the problem. In many things, the first impression makes or breaks a deal, and he gave me no other choice due to his friendly professional demeanor, honest to goodness personality and smiling face. Last week, while cleaning around the house, I noticed the something on the wall look like watermark and my dad also said he saw water in the sun room. We thought our roof is reaching its life and leaking everywhere. I searched yelp and found roof.net. I called roof.net phone number and able to get to Ken right on the first call. I told Ken about our roof issue and asked Ken to come to take a look at our roof. Ken said unfortunately his schedule is full he can only do next Friday, Ken asked me to fill out the form on the website so he can have my address information correctly. To my surprise, on the next day after get the form filled out, I received call from Ken and he said he can come and take a look in a few hours. Just as the time he promised, Ken showed up in front of my house. I showed him the wall and he said it is not the watermark. I also took him to see the water where my dad showed me and Ken used his ladder climb up the roof and checked it for me. He said there is a hole on the roof, he asked for caulking and caulking gun so he can help me fix it. We searched our house for caulking, unfortunately my dad lent his caulking gun for his friend, we only found 3 tubes of old caulking around the house. Ken is very patient helping us try all the caulking tubes, finally one of them is good, and he helped us fixed the hole on the roof free of charge. He also let us know our roof can still survive 2 more years, he gave us an estimate of how much the cost of replace the roof. We are very happy about this. We thought we need to replace it and it will cost a lot to repair but it turned out we still have 2 more years and repair the hole is free of charge. After the meeting with Ken, Ken also follow up with an email to provide us the information. This is the first time I use roof.net, as you can see my experience with Ken from roof.net is wonderful. It is easy to schedule the service. Ken is promptly and on time. He is very professional, patient, and easy to talk to. A recent storm blew some shingles off our roof but my husband could not tell exactly the source of the problem. We decided it was necessary to have it inspected. We were certain that we would be told that we need a new roof since our neighbor recently had their roof replaced. So my husband began a search for a roofing company with good reviews and ended up deciding on Roof.net. It almost seemed like the reviews were too good to be true but would soon find out otherwise. My husband contacted the company the next morning and spoke with the owner, Ken. After a brief conversation, Ken mentioned that he would try to stop by later in the day. Sure enough he showed up at the door that afternoon. He assessed the situation and sent a quote later in the evening. I was amazed that we did not require a new roof! Ken could have easily told us that the entire roof needed replacing. He actually told us that we have at least 6-7 years left on our current roof! Ken also provided some useful information to my husband about the potential for water damage as well as information about filing insurance claims that homeowners should know. His crew came by the next day and repaired the shingles that were blown off as well as removed an old satellite dish for us (and repaired the shingles that had been affected by the satellite dish). To minimize color differences, they took shingles from the back of the house on a part of the roof that you can't see and used them to replace the damaged area. They then replaced those shingles with new shingles. Even though there were new shingles we could not discern the difference. The overall experience exceeded our expectations. Ken is honest, prompt, reliable, professional and informative. His pricing is extremely reasonable. We sent Roof.net an email on Saturday night, requesting an inspection for some minor roof repairs. I was hoping to get a response to my message within a week or so; imagine my delighted surprise when Antonio came over the very next day! That really impressed me - you don't often find people who are willing to work on weekends, especially Sundays. Antonio explained that Ken (the owner) had other obligations that day, otherwise he would have been there himself. Antonio was extremely pleasant and professional; he took the time to do a very thorough (free of charge) inspection of the entire roof, snapping plenty of pictures of the problem areas. Afterwards he sat down with us and explained exactly what needed to be done. He didn't try to sell us a new roof - in fact, he made it a point to mention that the roof itself was in good shape. The issue was with poor caulking and deteriorated seals around vents and popping/improperly applied nails, which was allowing rainwater to seep in. The team was out on Tuesday to fix the problems, and after job completion they were very diligent about picking up their debris. I was incredibly impressed with their work ethic and demeanor, and the lightning fast turnaround between initial email and completed job was astounding. I found Ken and his company after doing a quick search and noted the very good reviews on Yelp. A leak had returned in one of our upstairs bedrooms with visible water stains on the ceiling and wall. We called late in the day on Friday and Ken and his son arrived Sat. morning to inspect the leak. He took the time to inspect the leak, look in the attic and inspect outside. Great customer service and great work product. I had been having a small room issues for a couple months everyone it rained. I had a couple of handymen come over and fix it, but sure enough after the first big rain the leak opened up pretty bad. The forecast called for rain all this week so I immediately started calling roofers. When I called their line the owner Ken picked up personally. 45 minutes later he was at my house and up on the roof in the rain. He came down and said he knew exactly what the problem was. I was worried that because of the heavy rain and forecast for more rain, it would be weeks before he could send a crew out.
