He was kind and extremely reasonable in working with me to get to a good price for the job, which included removing and replacing the damaged underlayment. During the process, the crew found that the plywood was completely worn out, which was not anticipated. Tomas was gracious enough to not charge extra to replace the plywood, and his crew did an excellent job putting in the new wood. They also replaced a number of broken tiles and cleaned the roof from accumulated debris. I have had a couple of recurring leaks in my roof into my second floor office. After having several companies out to provide estimates I chose to go with Rooftek. They were not the cheapest nor the most expensive. I selected them because they provided the detail on what needed to be done vs. some other who were more vague. They were also able to fit me into their schedule as I was concerned about an upcoming rain forecast. It was a lot of work involving 2 roof valleys and removal of a large number of concrete tiles to lay new paper and then put them back. I contacted several contractors from yelp but we chose Rooftek for their reputation and professionalism. After contacting them, David came out and did a complete survey of the our entire roof with a drone (unlike other contractors) and informed me of some of the deficiencies and repairs recommendation of our leaky roof. Several days later he emailed us an estimate and it was very competitively priced. Unfortunately it had rained several days prior and they were busy so didn't get to do the repair after about a week and half. David kept us informed of our scheduled date but there was a mix up when it was scheduled for the team to come out to my house first thing in the morning. It turned out they went to another house first. The team who came out to my team were Omar and Miguel. They started the roof repair right away despite of rain forecast later on that afternoon. They both worked very diligently and continued to work in the rain to try to complete the repair. I was very impressed with their determination and promise of finishing the repair on the same day. I did opt for maintenance option and they both returned early in the morning the next day and replaced broken roof tiles and such. They did an exceptional clean up and had taken pictures of the before, during and after repair of which David texted me. I sent my wife the pictures and we both were very impressed of an exceptional job Omar and Miguel did on our roof. We highly recommend this company if you need any roofing needs. I had a small roof leak last week after the recent atmospheric river that came through. I wanted to take care of it right away before it became a bigger leak and problem. No one else could come to my house the next day until I found RoofTek and spoke with Tomas. He was able to send a tech and come out to tarp the affected area by noon the next day. I called a clean up and restoration company before finding RoofTek and they were charging an arm and a leg just to put on a tarp - obviously trying to take advantage of a customer who was in need! Shame on them! Tomas gave me a much lower quote, was friendly, and felt like he genuinely wanted to take care of us as customers. I got a quote for the repair and maintenance (to clear debris from other tiles that can cause leaks and to check on the rest of the other tiles, seal any vents or pipes, adjust any slipping tiles, and replace any broken ones). There's a reason they only have 5 star reviews!!! I contacted Tomas to fix my roof during the summer of 2020. I know it's a weird time to fix a roof, but because of covid, I didn't have the money to get it fixed right away. I told Tomas my concerns about fixing the roof during the summer since it's harder to find the leak when everything is dry. Tomas informed me that their work comes with a warranty to ease my concern. Here comes the good part. Fast forward to last week, after the heavy rain, I noticed my roof was still leaking. I made plans to give him a call the next morning.
