I contacted this company along with 3 tothers and they replied within 24 hours, I gave them my contact info and again they replied the next morning and said they can be at our home in 15 minutes, done! Blake came and took a look and took time to explain things. I asked questions and he ws patient and answered all my questions. I had accepted a quote & roof repair proposal from a contractor two weeks ago. A 2 hour job repair supposedly be done within a week, 2 weeks later I have to cancelled it for waiting too long to get a schedule from them to come. I called another contractor named Tomas from RoofTek company Monday evening & ask him if he could do the repair before the forecast rain on Friday. After a wet winter, roof contractors got busy. I had a few telling me they would not do anything less than changing the entire roof. Tomas helped me with a roof tune up. We had Rooftek come out for a stubborn leak we had near our chimney. They were confident they got it on first attempt, but California got more rain and we noticed the area still leaking. For that singular experience I wouldn't give 5 stars obviously, but they were honest and accommodating to come back re-evaluate a larger area and fix what they thought was another contributor to the leak. We got another small rain after the second fix and it appears it may be resolved. They do have an industry leading 3 year warranty on their work for leaks so it makes us feel more comfortable working with them and recommending them. In August 2022 I had Tomas and his crew come out and repair a few leaks we had on our roof. He was not the cheapest estimate we got, but he made me feel confident in his work and he responded to me right away. I was satisfied with the work, but didn't want to leave a review until our first big rain. Well, we finally had our first big rain in November 2022 and we did still have a (much smaller) drip in our bathroom vent. I immediately called Tomas, and was unsure what to expect. Would he honor the repair and warranty? The answer is YES! He sent his crew out within a week or so of my contacting him. They found out what was missed, and patched it up. We contacted RoofTek to get an estimate on a roof replacement. Arturo, their Project Consultant, came by right away and did an inspection. He found that most the roof tiles were fine but that the 30+ year old underlayment needed replacement. Initially, Arturo was going to give us an estimate for the job which was open ended depending on how much wood needed to be replaced once the tiles were removed and any damaged wood below was exposed. But we were uncomfortable with this, preferring a fixed price up front. We were told that very few roofing companies will offer this but that he would speak to his manager and see if we could get an exception. He did, and later gave us a very reasonable fixed price, which was still lower than the other quotes we had already received. He also gave us a great long term warranty on the work. Based on this and the 360+ positive Yelp reviews, we decided to hire RoofTek. The job took about a week, a little longer than expected due to an apparent misunderstanding by the City Permit Department, which was not the fault of RoofTek. The workers were friendly, considerate, thorough, and hard working. They also left the place spotless when finished. During the repair, it was always easy to reach either Arturo or Thomas at the office. We are very happy with the roofing job performed by RoofTek and look forward to another 30+ years on our nicely refurbished roof. read more

I contacted RoofTek for a bid, who ended up as the successful bidder, and they completed the project at the end of September. Tomas and his team did a great job. Rooftek just completed a repair this past weekend. Communication and service was great! We obtained several quotes since roof repair isn't a frequent service request for most of us. We weren't experienced enough to be confident in pricing or what services were required. They were thorough and made us feel comfortable. Our experience: * Quote/consultation was a good experience. They climbed up there and looked around. (Others had offered a drone flyover) * Final invoice was what was originally quoted. * Evidence of work: Pictures were emailed showing before, work being done to remove roof tiles and exposing areas that required repair. Repair pics of what was done and the last pictures of the completed repair before putting the roof tiles back on. Gutter cleaning pics (which was we should have done separately and sooner) as well as the areas around the vents that needed to be resealed. Although we were not able to start the project as planned due to rainy winter this year, their workers were amazing once the project eventually started. THIRD TIME'S THE CHARM! Or more like 3.5? I have a bonus room with a flat roof that puddles at the slightest rain. I've owned my home for 21 years and never got around to improving that part of the house. Well, the roof started to leak. I had a handyman fix it. At least I thought it did. I asked him to put a slope to drain the water, but it got lost in translation. Or he just wasn't up to the job. Cuz after some day-long sprinkling, the ceiling sprung a leak. GRRRRRR. Second time, a roofing friend tried to help me out, said he'd put in a pitch and clean up the previous botched job. From what I could tell, his work looked a million times better than the first guy's. Well, it rained. I have a new puddle zone...and a new crack in the ceiling. Double GRRRRRR. I called him back. He did some torch work, thought it was good to go. It wasn't. Thanksgiving Day...it rained...cats, dogs, AND turkeys. The crack got bigger. Not only that, my furnace decided to go haywire. I was having a hard time being grateful. One thing I am thankful for is my adaptable family. We ate our dinner all bundled up, while listening to the water drip into a bucket LOL So earlier that day, Thanksgiving morning at 9:01, I got on Yelp and sent a quote request to RoofTek & Waterproofing. Time: Friday 12:11pm During a home inspection as part of my home buying process, my home inspector noticed problems with the home's roof and areas which needed repair. I had only until the end of the following Monday to where my home inspection contingency was going to expire so I was in a hurry to search for a roofing expert to come out and inspect my roof. To my surprise many other roofing companies do not work on the weekend and the soonest anybody was willing to come out for an inspection was Tuesday, which would have been past my home inspection contingency removal timeline. I got a hold of Tomas at Rooftek and he was very courteous and concerned over the phone. He understood the urgency of my request and mentioned he would drop what he was doing in order to come over and perform an inspection on my roof. I was very grateful that he came out on such short notice, especially for it being mid-day on a Friday. He rushed over within the hour and was very nice and professional upon arrival. He was able to get on top of the roof, take pictures, and right away called out observed defects in the roofing. He notified me that due to the upcoming fall season, most roofing companies are about 2-3 months out on being able to do a full roofing repair. He gave me his opinion on the course of action to take, which is that a repair could be done to hold us over until the spring and then a springtime roofing install is more ideal because there would be less rain--- and you don't want to install a roof during the rain!
