Would like to share my positive experience with Rooftex. We live in an HOA, which had an outdated list of materials we were able to use. Rooftek provided us comparable alternatives that my HOA eventually approved. David came out and gave me a fair estimate for my roof problem. There is a hurricane that was to land in Southern California in 2 days. I contacted Tomas from Rooftek and he was able to squeeze me in their schedule at the last minute. He did his best to move their schedule around to accommodate my problem. I ended up with them because I thought they were a credible, legit/honest/ethical company and provided really good customer service. I contacted Tomas due to the great reviews for Rooftek here on Yelp. I had a leak coming in from an old vent. I wanted more quotes and also used Angie's List. That was a mistake. They all wanted to do a complete roof repair. Tomas was the only honest roofer who said I just needed to repair where my leak was and one other area (low pitch) that was going to fail soon. Rooftek did a great job replacing/repairing my old turbine vents with modern vents and the shingles on the low pitch area. Tomas's crew was on time, respectful, and did good work. Highly recommend this company. We had a bad leak in our roof due to broken tiles and heavy rains. I messaged them on Monday and heard back from them within the hour. Arturo came out to assess the problem the following day. He was efficient, communicative, and answered all of my questions. I received the estimated cost (very reasonable) the following day and once that was approved they were able to fit me in the next day before a big rain storm. Tomas and his crew went above and beyond for my parents home! We found out earlier this year that my parents house was leaking. We had been dealing with a ceiling leak on and off for two years . We had a roofing company come out two years ago to look at our roof and address the problem. We were told that some tiles needed to be replaced and it wasn't a big deal. The problem was solved for a short time. Last Winter/Spring during heavy rains, the same spot began to leak. I contacted a different roofing company on the recommendation of a friend and they told me they would get back to me in several weeks. The rainy season was over so I did not mind waiting. After several months of waiting and finally no response, I decided to look elsewhere. I researched local roofing companies and was very impressed with the reviews for Rooftek & Waterproofing Systems-Orange County so I contacted them and immediately saw the difference. From the get go, they were responsive, communicative and professional. They scheduled someone to come out within a few days to assess the problem. I have a 26 year old roof so I was waiting for them to tell me I'd need a new roof, but luckily that is not what happened. Tomas came out as scheduled and looked at the problem area and the entirety of my roof and assured me that my roof was in good shape and that he saw the cause of my problem, which was a very common problem in roofs like mine. Tomas assured me that my roof could easily be fixed. The difference with Rooftek, besides their professionalism was, that they explained what needed to be done, showed me photos and explained in detail how they would fix the problem in language that made sense to a lay person. Additionally, Tomas also said that he saw another area that might develop the same problem in the future and gave me two estimates: one to fix the leaking area and one that included cleaning out and sealing other potential problem areas. There was no pressure to do anything else other than what I contacted him for, but I appreciated the information about recommended routine roof maintenance to avoid future problems. I chose to do the repair, maintenance and a gutter cleaning. I was given a very detailed estimate that I felt was very fair and I scheduled the work. I thought I might have to wait weeks to get on the schedule from my past experience with two other companies, but to my surprise, Tomas and David were able to schedule the work within a few days. There was constant communication about what to expect, the crew showed up when expected, were polite and worked continuously until the job was finished. There were no surprises and the crew cleaned up meticulously before leaving. Based on my experience, I would not hesitate to recommend Rooftek, Tomas and David to anyone. Recently, I had a repair completed on my roof by RoofTek. While the job was not major, it was somewhat complex in that it dealt with a leak around the flashing of the fireplace chimney that was of stone built back in 1923. The completed job looks great and I anticpate will take care of the problem for years to come. Both David and Tomas were very professional, punctual, and handled the job without delay or hazzle. I should note, that I had David look at another area on the roof that I had concerns with in the way it was previously installed . Rather than to try and up sell me on unnessary work, David instead told me the installation was fine and no further work was needed. Needless to say, I appreciate David's honesty. The crew was timely and generally clean; however, there was trash that I needed to clean from my lawn and their use of a leaf blower to clean roof dust needed to be washed from my plants near the house. Compared to other quotes, Rooftek was fairly priced. I selected them since Tomas was very communicative and easy to get ahold of compared to others. There were a couple of instances with awkward requests for payments out of schedule according to our contract. Big shout out to Tomas and team. Had a leak that caused my furnace to be problematic. Had quotes from other roofers and they indicated that the entire roof had to be replaced asking for $30k+. Tomas came out, admitted that he won't be making much money because the leak is simply a vent pipe cap that was missing from the furnace vent. Easy fix! Shopped around quite a bit before settling with Rooftek. Their pricing was very competitive. We agreed on a flat cost and they ended up needing to replace more wood sheets and fascia boards than initially anticipated. They stuck to their word and ate up the extra cost. They were also nice enough to accommodate subterreanean termite treatment and painter during during the reroof process. They did try to cleanup after each job although there were some mess left on our walls from the tile paint, not a big deal. The only reason I really took out a star is that communication could've been better. Overall, they still got the job done I still highly recommend them! I contacted Rooftek because I had found a leak that was causing the drywall of my ceiling to bubble. Upon further self inspection, I found additional leaks as seen by yellow discoloration of my ceiling drywall. My repair estimate was complicated because insurance would only cover a portion of the roof. Therefore I had to get 2 estimates for the entire roof and the portion insurance was covering. Rooftek came out multiple times as the repair needs changed per my request to give a revised estimate. Rooftek also sent a drone to assessed the damage and repair needs instead of having to go up to my roof. I liked how the estimate clearly stated the prices for the roof repair and cost of each piece of wood if needed for repair. I also liked how the estimate already included the replacement of any broken tiles and permits so I am not guessing on how much additional it will be. Rooftek also never tried to upsell me. Rooftek just listened to what I wanted to gave me estimates for what I asked for. The booking process was easy and the payment went smooth. Rooftek started work and finished when they promised. I remembered the first day Rooftek started. I thought there would be 3 workers like how my neighbors roof was repaired. I remember seeing and hearing 6 or 7 guys working on my roof and I thought to myself, "man these guys are really going hard at this job".
