Sadly, I have to downgrade my rating of Luxjo. A couple of weeks after the cleaning, I discovered they had damaged a (somewhat pricey) lightbox. I was able to repair it, but when I contacted them about it (and requested the worker who had damaged it and underperformed not be increased in future crews), Luxjo bailed out on two prepaid future cleanings and took several weeks to refund. Excepting that one unproductive (and slightly destructive) worker, their service was excellent and it's a shame they didn't follow-through. I would say they did generally good work, I got my money's worth in that one visit, but they may not be reliable, and the way they bailed out suggests they might not be insured or bonded. sigh, good help is hard to find... Here's my original review: These folks are a relatively small operation, so communication isn't always good when they're busy - but the fact they're often busy speaks for itself, and the smaller operation means more personalized service. And once they got rolling, the service I got on this first visit was pretty darn good. It got a little crowded with 4 people in my smallish apartment, but not much trouble getting in each others' way, and they got more done in less time, and while the flat rate seemed initially pricey, I got a lot more bang for the buck that I did out of past Groupon "discount deals". Equally important, they weren't breaking delicate stuff while cleaning, or making me have to sort through trash to recover important things they carelessly discarded, or worse (I once caught a crew trying to wash my dishes with lemon Pledge!) If future visits are as good and efficient as this first one was, they will have my repeat business for as long as I can afford outside help. read more

after using them a few times i decided to stay with my current cleaning service because luxjo just couldnt cut it. they dont really organize and u have to ask them to clean the fan blades, they dont make the beds, and they dont wipe down the cupboards . the only thing i was happy about was the way they cleaned my showers. You have to message them a few times before you get a response. they can only make it on the weekends which is really inconvenient. i will admit i forgot i had an appt with them recently but with the lack of communication it isnt hard to see why read more

I can not say enough about how AMAZING this cleaning crew has been for me! I have been using them for about 5 months at my east side AirBnB property. They are always reliable, pay close attention to detail (cleaning under the beds, moving furniture to clean behind couches, dusting blinds and windowsills, etc), and they seriously take pride in their work. Jose is my hero today in particular. I texted him late Monday night with an emergency cleaning request. He jumped right in today and knocked it out of the park! A dear friend had to undergo a very serious surgery and is having out of town family come to stay at her house to help her with her daughter and during her recovery. She has quite a large 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on the west side of town. It was in desperate need of a good cleaning. When I got there I was overwhelmed with the amount of work Jose would have to do and wondered how he would be able to do it all.
