Went to roosters tonight for kareoke. Apparently they don't care about people. This is where I went the night I was assaulted and he broke my nose. Tonight when I went I ordered my drink and sat down waiting for the kareoke host to finish her song so I could put one in. The owner came up, slammed my card on the table, took my drink and said "your not welcome here, you need to leave. We don't call the cops here. You made me loose $500 in revenue that night" Wow. I was the victim. He attacked me, broke my nose. No one there helped me that night. I called the cops on him because of what he did to me and I'm the bad guy. What has this world come to? I seeked medical attention, I am pressing charges for assault and I got an order of protection. The batertender made it a point to say "you didn't even go to the hospital." Actually, I did. Did I accept the $1000 ride from the ambulance? No, I don't have the money to pay for that. I had someone come pick me up because I could not drive due to blurred vision from a broken nose. I had someone drive me to the emergency room. She casted stones, they didn't hit me though. I caught them and am throwing them back. I am beyond hurt and offended. This is why people stay in abusive relationships and never advocate for themselves. When they do, they get looked down upon, singled out, made out to be a bad person for protecting themselves. Domestic violence is not okay in any situation. This bar condones it by stating they do not call the cops. If you need to beat someone up or harm them in anyway then this is the bar for you. If you want to feel safe, please do not go here because you may end up getting hurt and no one will help you! read more

I concur with the May 28, 2018 post. On Saturday, July 21, 2018, I visited Roosters for the first time. I was with thirteen other people. We wanted food, but were told that Roosters had none. (We learned through observation that there was free popcorn back toward the pool tables.) We ordered drinks. Three of us wanted water with our drinks. We were told that there was no water available. (We learned through observation that there was free ice water at the far end of the bar.) In any event, our beer, wine, and soda order never arrived. Those of use who persisted in getting drinks went to the bar and ordered individually. We enjoyed dancing to a good band ("Crossroads"). We stayed for two sets and spent about $100. In the break following the third set, a discheveled guy in a dirty tee shirt and with filthy hands accosted us and told us to "Get the f--k out" because we had not consistently re-used our plastic water drinking cups, which cost "1.7 cents each." We left shortly thereafter. In the parking lot, we told other patrons about our experience. We were told that this happens all the time. that the filthy man is one of the owners, that he is a serious drug abuser, and that he is a suspected drug dealer. read more

A friend of mine was assaulted here. The ex broke her nose and she left with an friend to seek medical attention a couple of weeks back. She went back tonight with some other friends for a decent night out. All of a sudden she was told that she as not welcome there due to the loss of revenue that came with that night. Mind you, SHE WAS THE VICTIM. She has a order of protection and is pressing charges. How dare they say SHE is not welcome due to loss of revenue? And, top make matters worse, they accused her of not even going to be checked out. News flash - just because someone did not want to pay the damned ambulance bill and opted to have someone else drive her does NOT means she didn't go. Shame on Roosters. Way to not care about people. Wouldn't visit this place if my life deepened on it. This place is garbage and needs to learn a lesson or two about how to treat people. read more

I recently visited Rooseters Bar and witnessed an incident that left me deeply disappointed. During a performance by Mickey & The Motor Cars, a man forcibly grabbed a hat from a woman's arm. When the woman's partner sought assistance from the bouncer, he was informed that the individual was a "regular" and that no intervention would be made. Such a response from staff is unacceptable. Patrons should feel safe and valued, and it's the responsibility of the establishment to ensure a respectful environment for all. This experience has left a negative impression, and I hope Rooseters Bar takes this feedback seriously to prevent future occurrences. read more

We've tried the breakfast sandwich and steak and eggs before, but my boyfriend's go-to is the chicken fried steak. I ordered the Tex-Mex burrito, and as you can see from the photo, it's massive and smothered in enchilada sauce. While the burrito itself is delicious, it was a bit too saucy for my personal taste. The chicken fried steak comes with rosemary potatoes, which could be a little strong if you're not a fan of rosemary. Service was slower than usual and our food took a while, but it's normally much quicker. With such a large and busy space, patience is sometimes needed--luckily you can enjoy the ambiance, watch TV, play pool or darts, and relax while you wait. They also have a great Super Bowl deal every year. This year it's $40 per person with 50¢ drinks (from a select menu) plus a buffet--definitely a steal for a good time.

Dj Shawn is the best karaoke dj. He truly wants you to leave happy and loves his job. I have gone to a lot of karaoke places and dj Shawn hosts the greatest show just pure fun. PARLOUR DOOM Came…read morethrough on a Saturday night and this small bar was packed and only took about 50 people piled in there to fill it up. The place was not called ROOM for nothin. It felt about the size of a Master Bedroom. There were two 'rooms' actually; the main room and a smaller adjacent room, which would be like a big walk-in closet to this Master Bedroom. The big room had a few standing tables and the small room had some chairs and couches with tables that you can actually sit at. The smaller room contained a mini bar area that that you can also sit at, but was not being used to serve at the time. This master bedroom had a Master of Ceremonies playing music, but he was definitely a Master of Disaster on the turn tables. This D.J. had a pattern where he would play a song and maybe 20 seconds into it, people would start feeling the music, but then he would switch the song. Talk about killin the vibe! Well, there was no cover charge, so maybe that's why there's a neon sign in there that says "No Free Vibes". It was like they were the Vibe Nazis. The other atrocity was how he was tried to mix the tracks. He was trying to mix songs from every genre of every decade. The DJ was overlapping newer songs with older songs, maybe to cater to the age range of the crowd, but the result sounded like he was just messing around for the first time on new turn tables he got for Christmas. He tried to mix songs which didn't even go together or have a mixable beat i.e. 'Macarena' and 'In the End' by Linkin Park. This abomination was an insult to the artists and fans of music in general. To make things worse, the DJ tried to hype the crowd by talking over the mic intermittently, but all he accomplished was interrupting the songs. I almost had second-hand embarrassment for him. It would have been better if he just had a recorded track of songs and just played the preset music. I think you are better off paying for your vibes elsewhere if you want to dance or hear music. You would think, getting people drunk makes everything better and more fun, right? Well if you can't get them drunk because the bar service was taking such a long time, then you are gonna have a lot of bored, sober customers. I did not drink but all I know, for the rest of my group, it was taking 15 minutes to get a couple simple cocktails. You could probably walk to the liquor store across the street and chug a beer quicker than you could get a round of drinks. This place has potential. It was not a bad space overall for a lounge type bar. The décor, aesthetic, and lighting gave it a nice ambiance. They just need to get adequate staff to serve the drinks and play music.

The place draws a good crowd and has an enjoyable ambiance. Just wish they could dial in their food. They are so close if they would put a little more effort into the details.
