    4 piece meal includes soda

Consistency and simplicity is all I expect from Raising Cane and they meet this expectation at almost every location. We ordered a 4 piece tender meal that came shy of $10. It was plenty to feed two of us. Saucy and subtly sweet slaw, tasty Texas toast, slightly crisp crinkle cut fries, and the star as usual, tender chicken tenders (fingers). They can always make the white meat fingers moist. Simple food and a simple menu for a fast meal without worry.

At least they have the good ice, but NO BBQ SAUCE!!!! Ohoians got stranger since I left in 1987.

How could you mess up such a simple menu of chicken fingers, fries, Texas toast, and cold slaw?? How about not having BBQ sauce or sweet and sour!!!! This menu must of been designed by a picky eater 3 year old or a grown man that still eats like one. I should know because my 1st husband was one of those guys and that is one reason he is an ex husband because he refused to be a grown up adult eater. EBS'S wide food choices was one of his best qualities which was almost too many to list. One thing I know is chicken fingers since I have eaten too many and either served or seen my ex order millions more. To get him to try a new restaurant it had to have them to drag him there like a dead horse, but only if they had chicken strips or fingers. Cane's isn't even in the top 10 or maybe top 50. Luckily, I had some great Detroit Chicken Shack BBQ sauce to use. (Brought 4 bottles of it before I moved.) Fries were not crispy. Texas toast was good and having Coke products gave this place the 2 stars. If you have children who you are coddling too much with their eating ( come on parents, it is your job to be the bad guy, not their friend and help them grow up in food also so their bosses don't have to so they won't be an embrassment at business meals!!!) THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. Or if you are one of those grown coddle kids then you are welcome to here. I will be some place else enjoing a more adult menu.

Pretty good place, love that sauce, but I guess that's about it. The chicken is normal like everywhere else, the Texas Toast is awesome too. Friendly staff and very clean inside. Worth a stop in for lunch if you're free.

I swear the fingers in the kids meal are bigger.

This place was described as a farm to table chicken joint and also mentions being "rooted in the flavors of the locally loved Uncle Nick's Greek Fried Chicken". I am not totally sure what that reference means, but I can say the food and chicken was good. I had the medium heat fried chicken sandwich and went with mac and cheese plus the mashed potatoes and gravy for my sides. Everything was good. Mashed potatoes needed some salt and pepper and I never add salt to anything, but after that and pouring some gravy on them it was perfect. The heat level on my was great. I went with Medium and may try the Nashville Hot next but that medium was a just right. My partner loves fried chicken and ordered the two-piece meal with a wing and breast, no heat, and enjoyed it as well. No complaints there. Service was the best. The guy that took our order was so personable and friendly and walked us through the options. After we ordered, even brought the food to the table once it was ready. Everything was hot and fresh. Soda machines were down but sure they'll get it fixed soon, and the restrooms were worn and really cold, but none of that was a big deal really. Overall a good experience and a solid option if you are craving some fried chicken or looking for a good chicken sandwich. As the name indicates it's all about fried chicken. The chicken is brined with salt and water overnight. Makes the chicken super moist and crispy, it doesn't get any better. Why vegetable oil? They use 100% vegetable oil for their frying needs. It adds a nice mild flavor to the food, holds up to high temperature well, and its plant based! For the vegetarians out there, our fries are hand cut by us and brined overnight. No added ingredient. Potato, salt, water. We also have our fryers set up in such a way as to not cross contaminate the fries with the chicken! We have a dedicated fryer JUST for fries! Our fries are vegan and our chicken is gluten free! The fries were so tasty and had such a great texture. Yummmy!!! Their wings will be the crispiest, most perfectly cooked, tender wings you've ever had! From the overnight brine that makes the chicken super tender, adding the perfect amount of saltiness, to the way they fry them that creates the perfect crispy exterior, you wont find a better wing. We've tried! They make their own dipping sauces (blue cheese and ranch). They also have a number of sauces. You aren't going to find any better chicken wings out there. Get out and check them out!!!!

Tiny, carryout only, though there are a couple of tables to sit while you wait or maybe to eat a quick lunch. Super friendly staff. Fairly short menu; all the good stuff. I wasn't famished and didn't want to wait for chicken or fish, so I got an assortment of sides thinking that would be quicker. They fried up the okra right then, though, and had a steady stream of pickup orders coming through the door, so it still took 10-15 minutes. It was okay, though, smelling the amazing scents coming from the kitchen, talking to the staff and customers. I hadn't noticed they have ribs (just a picture, not on the menu) so I might've ordered those. Oh well. $20 I think, or they do combos with sides or fish and sides. Anyway. I got fried okra, and it was a big portion and absolutely amazing. No need for any sauces, tasty on its own. Perfectly crisp. Baked beans: my style, sauce so thick you can eat them with a fork. Slightly sweet, mostly savory, very good. Greens (collards) with turkey: outstanding. Tender but not floppy, nicely seasoned. Cornbread: soft, sweet, crumbly, topped with butter. Yum. Geechee rice: seasoned, bacon and sausage, very good. And black-eyed pea salad. I like black-eyed peas but had never had them in a salad. These were great: plump, with bits of tomato and cucumber and onion, in a vinegary dressing. Again, yum. Enough food for two meals. They gave me the side plate special, three sides and cornbread, which helped with the price. I was headed home and not thirsty so I didn't get a drink, but based on conversations with other customers I missed out on the lemonade and sweet tea. I'll be back for those and maybe a rib-fish combo. And to try the mac. Get here if you can!

LOL. You pull up to an older house that's been converted into the restaurant, and it could use some maintenance :) but these are the kinds of places I love to find. Small dining area, maybe 6 tables seating 2-4 people each. It was warm today (Saturday around 1pm) and it was pretty busy both for dine-in/to-go and drive through. Unlike alot of other reviews everyone was incredibly friendly and service was reasonably quick. My onion rings and my son's tenders were HOT so they were fresh. Onion rings were pretty well done, but I like them that way. Others may disagree. I had a coney w/ mustard, chili, onion and it looked pretty unassuming. However, it was a little flavor bomb. I found the chili to be flavorful, and they use the tiny diced onions that were perfect for a coney. I went back for a second one with cheese. They were a little stingy with the coney toppings, but at least is was easy to eat. Maybe a little more cheese would be nice. Like someone said, the chili needs to be hotter, it was luke warm. PB and banana shake was awesome, with real chunks of banana in it. It was a hit with my picky 10yr olds and the price was definitly right for a tasty filling lunch. I'm a native Hoosier, so I'll have to put their tenderloin to the test next time and report back.
