So glad this place is here in Moab! Great wine selection and small plates. This was salmon crostini.

Rooted Wine in Moab is exactly what this town has needed for a long time. A welcoming, thoughtfully curated wine bar run by a wonderful couple from Turkey, it brings warmth, culture, and excellent wine to the heart of Moab. Relaxed, inviting, and full of character--an absolute gem and a must-stop after a day of adventure.

The owners are lovely. You get tasting notes with your wine. And the rooted vine board is a solid 10/10.

The wine options were fantastic and the atmosphere was amazing. Excited to keep coming back here. Really enjoyed the note cards with each different wine.

Just had a delightful dinner at the Rooted Vine. Charming newer wine bar in the heart of Moab. The food and wine was delicious. We had two small bites plates. The salmon and cream cheese on a crostini and the garlic, butter and Parmesan tenderloin steak bites paired with a Pinot Gris from the Willamette Valley. Both food dishes were great. The restaurant is owned by a gracious husband & wife from Turkey. We would highly recommend the Rooted Vine.

The small plates were the perfect casual dinner for the last night of our stay in Moab! The vibes and ambience are great and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their wines! Would definitely recommend. The info card about your wine is a great touch!

    Smoked salmon crostini

Just the place after a strenuous day for a delicious light meal and a glass or two of very good wine. Smoked salmon crostini pairs well with the Browne Family Chardonnay. I enjoyed a glass of Willamette Valley Vineyards pinot noir after. Moab diners are lucky to have such a fine place to eat and drink.

BBQ sounded amazing and I've never had a platter like this before. I couldn't turn down the 3 meat platter to try everything that peaked my interest. Starting with the hush puppies, fried, sweet, and savory. Yum! The brisket was so tender and juicy. The ribs were also tender and fell off the bone. The andouille sausage had cheese throughout it and I felt like it was too oily and fatty from that, but that ended up being my husband's favorite. We devoured the sides too. The beans and mac and cheese were a must. If I had more stomach space I'd eat a dozen more hush puppies. Outdoor seating allows your furiends. Order at the counter and enjoy! And don't forget to try their house bbq sauce.

I really wanted ribs but at 7pm they were all out. Kind of surprising to not be able to get this at a BBQ place but, got the pulled pork meal instead. The pork itself was very well done, and delicious. And really liked that they put all sauces on the side for you to pick and add as much or as little as you want. They have different sides to pick from... mac-n-cheese is usually a must at BBQ restaurants, but I would recommend skipping it here. Not hot, cheesy enough and lacking flavor. The coleslaw, on the other hand, was a great side.

Definitely a five star experience *chefs kiss*…read more They do service by name here so you know that it is personable and that you're not getting someone else's order. The workers are very friendly and work to make your experience the best. The establishment itself is fairly small and can feel a bit crowed but they do what they can with the space that they have. The Elk Tartare was a new dish for me and I don't have any complaints about it, very well made. But the Cured Duck Breast is what I came for, and it did not disappoint. Cooked perfectly and complimented well with the green pico. If you have a chance to try Bin 707, I recommend you do it! Very well worth.

We both enjoyed a bottle of wine from a local Colorado outfit, a nice Pinot noir, and my wife had a burger, which is what the place is known for. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive and friendly. The burger was pretty good as expected. I'm a big fan of duck so that's what I went with and going down it tasted pretty good but later than night it was clear I developed food poisoning and was up most of the night regretting my decisions. My wife and I shared the same meals and drinks throughout the day with the exception of dinner so it was evident the duck was the culprit. Unfortunate, but I'd recommend sticking with the burgers if you go.

Amazingly, finding someone that knows how to cook a steak can be difficult. After quick Google and Yelp searches, we learned about the Winery. I made a reservation online, and I'm glad I did because it is a busy place. Located in an alley, the historic building used to house a horse drawn carriage fire station. Pretty cool to think about. To me the building was quite charming. I loved the outside walls covered in vines and the old wooden door that opened into quaint, cozy rooms covered in wood and old bricks with beautiful stained glass windows. I felt like I had stepped back in time to an old timey tavern. When we arrived, our table was ready. We ordered a couple of drinks and decided to go straight for our meal. I decided on the 6 ounce filet. It was locally sourced and wrapped in apple wood smoked bacon. I asked for medium well and it was cooked to perfection. I ordered a loaded baked potato to go with it. It was a delicious meal, and I had leftovers for the next day. For the amount of food we got, the service and the quality of the meal. I would highly recommend The Winery for a date night out or other special occasion.

He also described the filet as very lean, which while true is still a delicious cut of meat. Then he started explaining what the Oscar topping option and it was just too much, so I told him we understood the basics. Our first time, we received a description of the specials and asked if we had other questions about the menu - perfectly appropriate. We started with the bacon wrapped scallops which we've had plenty of time, but these were topped with an apricot chili sauce that totally overpowered the taste of the scallop. All you could taste was the bacon and what tasted like a barbecue sauce - not an apricot chili glaze. We'll never order those again. The steaks were perfectly cooked as always, but the baked potatoes were luke warm and barely hot enough to melt the butter and definitely not hot enough to melt the cheese. We had a show to attend so there was no time to send anything back. At this point, we're not hurrying back for another dinner for 2 with a $300 price tag, which includes a $130 bottle of wine.

We ordered a hamburger with a side of sweet potato fries (note I'm not a big fries eater, but the burger and fries were truly delicious). The huge slice was topped with a crumble, side of whipped cream, along with small balls (molecular process?) of juicy peach balls. We came on the early side for happy hour (2 specialty drinks for the price of one- 9.00) two sangria flavors (green apple or peach)...whilst a tad sweet, we're good.
