I spoke with Tony after he was called to come out and to a rental property I own... Although I found him very polite, his estimate to replace a pipe was outrages. I have been in the trades, and a rental property owner for over 30 years. After patiently listening to him explain his reason the pipe broke while he was attempting to remove a clean out plug by any means possible, as if it were a personal challenge. Yes, Tony the pipe was old, yes it needed to be replaced, I agree. But in my experience, when I come across a problem like this... I move on to another option. I am not certain, why the tenants chose to call you first without calling me to inform me of there issue, but the pipe you wanted to charge $1600.00 to replace took 18 ft of ABS a few parts, and four hours of my time, including the time to purchase the parts. That's $60.00 bucks in parts. During our conversation, you stated you have all ready logged $400.00 in parts and labor when you were there. WOW! I feel bad for the tenants that called you. I wish you well sir... I give you 2 stars, because you were polite. But I question your pricing! read more

I highly recommend this company for the professional and speedy service that I received today. Toilet wasn't flushing all the way and I had received an estimate from another company( name withheld) for approximately $1300 which included augering and then snaking the toilet. A friend recommended Rooter Man and I'm glad I listened. Dave and his assistant Damian first attempted to auger but without success. They checked the outside pipe and found no blockage so Dave thought it might be the pipe from the toilet to the outside pipe. He said if the pipe was the issue then toilet would have to be removed and the work would be more involved and more expensive. He decided to give the augering another try and lo and behold, SUCCESS! He dislodged a chunk of calcium that was blocking the pipe. I was unaware calcium buildup in the water can cause this. He explained everything and you could tell he wanted to resolve the problem without incurring a huge price tag. Total for the service was $228! I normally don't write a review but I am so pleased with the service that I wanted others to know about it. read more

This is the second time we've used this company, and are very glad we did. We were experiencing a "gurgling" toilet, and a slow draining shower, both of which made us nervous. As it was the day after Thanksgiving I wasn't expecting them to come that same day, but they did, right on time. My husband had snaked the one toilet before Nicks arrival, and the toilet was slowly draining. When Nick got here, he looked in the clean out, and saw some toilet paper and water. He then ran his camera up the line about 20 feet or so (really cool to see that). All he saw was a little toilet paper, but no blockage. I guess my husband's handy work did the job after all. Nick advised me to flush all toilets, holding the lever down, to clear the lines, which worked! There was no charge for this visit and I was extremely happy and relieved. Recently (Super Bowl Sunday) our 13 year old water heater breathed its last and made a bit of a mess in our garage. My wife and I had been discussing the need of a new one just the night before! Anyway, she called me at work so I came home right away and we cleaned up the bulk of the mess. To discover where the plumbing blockage was located to the outlet from the house they dug up mud after a heavy rain to uncover he entrance to the tank. Using a cable with a camera on it revealed the problem which I was able to view They provided me their opinion and options to deal with the situation. These people are authentic, knowledgable and good communicators. I kept Byron's card from the last time he was here because he impressed me like few others do. Where to begin.... we had a main line clog that had to be taken care of ASAP. After calling around to various plumbers, who were either booked until after 10 pm or didn't service main line clogs, we were referred to Rooter-Man. Excellent experience with Tony who returned my call quickly and showed up the same day within a couple of hours of my initial call. (The scheduler, Laura, who answered the phone was very courteous and pleasant.) Tony was very knowledgeable and experienced and he explained how he would resolve the problem. We had a break in a drain pipe under the house. We couldn't run any water, including flushing toilets. We couldn't really wait a few days, since I run a daycare from home! Nicholas with Rooter-Man just happened to be across the street at a neighbor's house this AM when I was about to start phoning plumbers. Tony and his guys are the only plumbers we'll call. They've come out twice now. Once for a burst pipe and the next time for a new sewer pipe. This last time my husband and I spent hours digging out about 4 feet of hard packed clay before handing it off to the professionals. They dug up 45 feet of old clay pipe, replaced it with new pipe and filled the ditch before day's end. They are very good at what they do and really nice people too. I had a clogged kitchen drain that was too far down the pipe for my attempt to snake it. Called Rooter-Man on Monday at 8:00 am and they were here by 2:00 pm as promised. Bryan was careful to put down padding on the hardwood floors before using his machine to unclog the drain. He cleaned up after the fix and made sure all the fittings were tight with no drips.
