    RIDICULOUS QUOTE

ZERO STARS!!!! This Company Is The Absolute Worst!!!! I called yesterday for my toilet that wouldn't flush! The tech came in and looked at my toilet like he'd never seen anything like it before, it's a regular toilet! He immediately told me I needed a new toilet and he could install it today, meaning yesterday. I told him no way, I don't want a new toilet, I want this one fixed. He went to his van and "got a quote" of $824 to fix my toilet! He then told me I needed to pay $412 upfront in order for the parts to be ordered and he'd see me next week! Mind you this is my ONLY toilet! I called a friend this morning told him my toilet was broken and he came over. He fixed my toilet in 20 minute, NO PARTS, NO TOOLS just his hands! The chain had come off the flusher bar. In addition to this review I will be calling the BBB on this company first thing Monday morning!!!!! I'm a single older female who knows nothing about toilets and I feel VERY TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY THIS COMPANY! I did notice another zero star review written by an elderly woman and she too was taken advantage of, I'm just saying! LADY'S be careful of these vultures!!!!

I paid for the inspection services but I feel was way overcharged, for 2 people to be there for 20 mins to see what the problem was. Then upon inspection, said it was going to be a $2800 job. I had multiple quotes and estimates that day and chose someone else who quoted/estimated $440 for 2 hours of work and for a $6 coupler piece that needed to be fit around the pipe. I'm so glad I saved thousands of dollars by not choosing a Rooter man. Gouging at its finest. I'm so thankful for the other plumber.

The one and only included picture in the $350 inspection.

Their equipment wasn't working, which dragged the job out to nearly twice as long as it should have. To make matters worse, they spilled what looked like close to two quarts of oil all over the dirt on the property and made no effort to properly clean it up or take responsibility, instead they tried to conceal it by kicking dirt on it and then left it. That's not tacky its highly inappropriate. Communication was just as bad. We had to chase them down for days to get the report, after clearly written instructions to the company. After raising these concerns, the company promised a follow-up call to take care of things that never happened. Completely blew us off. Then the invoice showed up hundreds higher than expected, pushing close to $1,000, including nearly $400 just for the inspection. For the level of service provided, that pricing is hard to justify. After 21+ years in this business across two states, this is easily one of the worst vendor experiences I've dealt with. Poor execution, poor communication, and zero accountability. Would not recommend.

The younger tech, Lucas I believe, was polite and professional. However, we were told by another technician (older gentleman) that if the leach pipe was saturated and could not be fixed that we would need an entirely new septic system, but we were NEVER told this company does not actually replace septic systems themselves. I assumed they handled full replacements, so we agreed to let them attempt remediation. Three days and $3,000 later, including about $2,500 just for excavation, we were told the issue could not be fixed and we would need a full septic replacement through a completely different company. Had we been told upfront that they do not perform full replacements, we would never have approved the excavation or remediation attempt because now we have to pay another company to excavate all over again. During the "remediation," they also replaced two pipes that did not even need to be replaced since the entire septic system now has to be replaced anyway. It felt like unnecessary work added onto the bill. The yard was also left looking terrible with dirt piles, patches everywhere. Two other septic companies came out afterward and one specifically commented that if their crew left a lawn looking like that, they would "rip them a new one." After paying $3,000 for essentially no resolution, my husband called asking for the yard to at least be cleaned up properly. The older technician told him he would call the following week to schedule a day to come out. Instead, he showed up unannounced on a random day and immediately started digging in the front yard. When I opened the door and politely asked what he was doing and informed him another septic company was on the way, his response was simply, "yeah, so?" Extremely rude and unprofessional after everything that had already happened. At the end of this, we are now paying an additional $15,000 for a full septic replacement on top of the $3,000 already paid to this company, including duplicate excavation costs that could have been avoided with honest communication from the beginning. I'm sure they may be fine for a basic inspection, but I would not trust this company with costly repairs or major septic work.

Ryan gave me a quote that was significantly better than some other local companies, and was able to come out and fix it immediately. They promised they'd be there at 7am and be done by 3 the next day - and they held to their word! They came out, relined my sewer, installed a clean out, and covered up the hole by 3pm, even hauling away the big rocks they dug up. They did such a great job that I just hired them to repipe all the plumbing in my crawl space and yet again, they gave me a super reasonable bid and were 100% true to their word. This time a crew of 2 younger guys came out - they were extremely polite, got the job done in the time promised, and cleaned up and were on their way out in a day! Plumbing issues are a massive pain in the butt but these guys do live up to their names - they made the whole thing EASY. Every single employee I have interacted with from Liz in the office, Ryan giving bids, and now 3 other service guys have been amazing - super friendly and kind. This even includes the guy who came out at 7pm on a Sunday to clear the line when I first had the issue - nothing but amazing people work here. I shouldn't need any more plumbing now that they fixed it all, but if I ever do, they'll be the guys I call every time. I HIGHLY recommend Easy Rooter!

I decided to go with "Cured-In-Place Pipe" because it only requires a single hole approximately 2'x4' instead of a trench through my landscaping that would cut very big tree roots since the trench would have been within five feet of four very large trees. Replacing the pipe would also have left three feet of my old (orangeburg) pipe from curb to the city connection, unless willing to pay an additional thousand dollars for 3 more feet. Ryan and two crew members showed up at the scheduled 7 AM time and did an excellent job. Finishing around 2:30 PM after the city inspector approved the work. Ryan and his crew were professional and careful with all the landscaping. They installed a new ABS cleanout, backfilled and cleaned up the work area beautifully.
