My sister in law made reservations for my mom in laws 84th b day. It was all our 1st time, so we were not so sure of the place, but once we walked in, we loved the deco and the music. The staff is very friendly. Our server's name was Pedro. He was awesome. We were a part of 9, and he handled us like a champ. He had a great vibe and recommended some good plates. It was overhyped on social media. The decor was beautiful. As soon as you walk in you are drawn into the wall art surrounding the tables. It's decorated in Hispanic culture items. They also play live music. In terms of wait time there was none for us we arrived as a large walk in party and it was empty however it did fill up later in the night. Now the bad part is that the food was mediocre. It was not good at all. My favorite part was the chicharrones and that's it . I saw this restaurant on Instagram and it was labeled as the most beautiful restaurant in OC so I had to check it out. It definitely lived up to its name! The outside seemed not too great but once you walk in you are tranformed into a beautiful garden look and feel. The level of details and color schemes gave it a "WOW" effect . I loved the creativity of the red roses with tree branches, especially around the bar area, and the beautiful mural on the wall in the dining area. As for the food, there were oddly not too many vegetarian options which was disappointing but the waitress managed the accommodate. Note that their beans are made with lard so to my vegetarians, you won't be able to have their beans and they don't offer black beans for some reason. I got the enchiladas con mole and replaced their shredded chicken with mushrooms and this dish was truly flavorful. The mole was sweet with hints of spice so it really brought the enchiladas home for me. Portions are big too! My only recommendation is that this place offers a vegeatarian section/ menu and offer black beans to make it more vegetarian friendly. read more

Went here for cinco the mayo when they had $5 drinks. I'll be honest the drinks weren't that strong and the line was super long but we were able to sit at the bar and order we waited maybe 15 minutes. The churros with Valentina are honestly the best thing that makes them stand out since most restaurants give chips and salsa. We shared a ceviche tropical and a molcajete. The shrimp in the ceviche tasted fresh, the pineapple sweet, the cucumber crunchy. I would have liked more lime in the ceviche, so our server Karla N gave us a bunch of lime wedges to add to the ceviche. We were seated right away and given chicharrones to snack on. Although there was not a lot of people, service did take a while. They took a while getting our drink and food order. We spent more time waiting than we did eating, but they did have only two waiters on the floor. We got one drink which was the sangria, it was delicious and quite strong. As for the food, it was really good. We got the enchiladas michocanas, a sope de carnitas and a chile relleno. Both dishes came with rice and beans, we also got a kids meal with an asada taco and fries. The enchiladas were so good, and the sauce that came with them was chef's kiss. The chile relleno was good but a little on the small side. Our least favorite thing was the sope as by the time we ate it, it had become soggy but the flavor was still good regardless. The rice and beans were surprisingly one of my favorites things, they had a really good flavor and complemented the main dishes perfectly.
