The food is amazing, bit pricey but the portions are huge. The ambiance was nice, the paintings on the wall and the lighting set a beautiful atmosphere. Our server was great, I unfortunately didn't get her name but she was nice and accommodating. Light skin, blondish hair with brown roots and she looked to be late 20's-early 30's. However, both of the bus boys, who looked to be in their 40's, were extremely rude by rolling their eyes and had a bad attitude. Overall a fine experience, I recommend the steak quesadillas and the enchiladas. read more

I had a great experience at Rosa Mexicana in Las Vegas, located right outside Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino! I went on a Sunday around 11:30 AM for brunch, and it was pretty empty, which made for a relaxing experience. The noise level was perfect, and I absolutely loved all of the beautiful pink décor! The sangria was amazing, and the shrimp tempura tacos were delicious. Both the hostess and our server were friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and would definitely suggest stopping by if you're in the area! Also, they have outdoor seating which I love in Vegas to people watch:) read more

As longtime fans of Rosa Mexicano, this was an exceptionally disappointing experience. I lived in Washington, DC for years and have dined at Rosa Mexicano there more times than I could possibly count. It was consistently a restaurant we loved, known for polished service, excellent food, and an elevated take on Mexican dining. Unfortunately, the Las Vegas location felt like an entirely different restaurant. We arrived around 1:00 p.m. on a Monday and sat at the bar. We were literally the only guests there, yet the service was inattentive from the beginning. Our bartender, Victor, seemed largely disengaged and was flippant throughout the meal. We ordered the tableside guacamole, one of the things Rosa Mexicano has historically been known for. There was nothing tableside about it. A molcajete of prepared guacamole simply appeared. We then had to ask for plates, napkins, and silverware. When we ordered our food, we specifically asked that everything come out together because we were mixing appetizers and entrées. My mother and I received our meals first, while my father waited roughly six additional minutes for his. The food itself was wildly inconsistent. My quesabirria tacos were genuinely delicious, and my mother's taquitos were fine. The queso, however, tasted more like something made from powdered cheese than what I would expect from a restaurant positioning itself at this price point. The biggest disappointment was my father's pork shank. It was one of the most expensive dishes we ordered and is described on the menu as crispy. What arrived was essentially a large mass of fat with almost no edible meat. It was neither properly crisped nor remotely worthy of the price. What made the experience particularly frustrating was that the restaurant was not busy. There was no rush, no packed dining room, and no obvious reason for such inattentive service or careless execution. Restaurants have off days, and I understand that not every dish will be perfect. But this felt less like an isolated mistake and more like a lack of attention to the fundamentals: hospitality, timing, presentation, and food quality. For those of us who remember what Rosa Mexicano has been capable of at its best, this was a remarkable letdown. The Las Vegas location is a very far cry from the polished, distinctive restaurant I knew and loved in Washington, DC. At these prices, guests should expect considerably better. read more

The ambiance was really nice, the decorations and overall atmosphere were beautiful and definitely made the experience feel unique. The food was decent overall, but I do think it could've been better. The pink chips were fun to try. The Mexican fried rice was okay, but nothing too memorable. I really enjoyed the chicken quesadilla, though, and the fajitas were decent as well. Unfortunately, the birria quesatacos, which was one of the recommended must-haves, was a bit of a letdown and didn't live up to the hype. One thing that really stood out to me was the cleanliness. Unfortunately, the bathroom was quite dirty, and the booth seats also looked like they could've used a good cleaning. The staff were also checking on us very frequently. Some people may appreciate that kind of attentive service. I could see it being a positive or negative depending on your preference. Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere and there were definitely some good dishes, especially the chicken quesadilla, but the cleanliness and a few underwhelming dishes kept this from being a standout experience for me. read more

AWESOME experience here! We came with a group of 8 to our reservation. It wasn't very busy which was great and our server was very outgoing and personable. we started with chips and salsa. Much like the interior of the restaurant, they were pink! Dyed with beet powder. Excellent. My husband and i split a meal for 2 and it was worth. it. So yummy. We also had table side guace which was so fresh!! So tasty. We ordered a pitched or margs for the table and they were strong. Such a great dinner and great way to start our trip. read more

Fun spot, casual, it's got a cool vibe inside, lots of pink, plenty of space for a large group. My husband and I shared the chicken flautas and the chicken/shrimp fajitas. They also give you complimentary chips and salsa, the chips are pink to match the decor. By far the best thing we ate was the salsa. It was super flavorful and had a nice kick to it. It's free refills and we were trying not to eat too much of it since we had food coming, but we did end up eating close to 2 of the large baskets of chips. Couldn't get enough of the salsa! The chicken flautas were good, crispy and the crema was nice with it. The fajitas comes with unlimited tortillas and a side of beans/rice/pico/cheese/sour cream. It was okay, nothing super special. Service was also just okay, our server was nice but didn't seem to know the menu that well. Hostesses didn't seem that friendly. Overall, it's an easy place to walk to on the Strip for dinner, not super busy even when we went in last minute on a Saturday. read more

Went for lunch on the 4th of July on a whim. While it was busy we were still able to be seated in a nice comfy booth right away. The hostess was absolutely delightful and our waitress was very attentive without being overbearing. I do hate that they have one of those roaming photographers that come to the table, insist they take your picture and then try to sell the crap out of the picture even when you say no multiple times. Its a bit much. The chips were disappointingly bland, and only tasted good with the salsa. Other than that we liked the rest of the food. It was solid for Mexican on the strip. We had the birria quesatacos, chicken enchiladas with mole, Mexican rice and street corn esquites. Pricing was what you would expect on the strip, but not astronomical and the portions were good size so we both had leftovers. read more

A little overpriced but I think it is because it's on the strip. There are tons of great Mexican places on the strip with great good. The atmosphere was lively but still relaxing, and it was the perfect spot to catch the World Cup game while enjoying lunch. We have eaten here several times for breakfast and enjoy their menu. If you are walking by, stop in, but reservations are helpful. The servers and staff are always kind and welcoming. Our service was a little spotty this time but there was a lot of effort to get what we needed, so it wasn't a huge issue. My husband ordered the Avocado Toast and we could have split it. The portions are generous, for sure. Everything always tastes good and they have interesting options. I ordered the 20oz passion tea and it was pretty sweet. I kept adding water to it and I got it to a good balance for me. It was delicious!! The space is large and would be good for large parties. You would definitely need to plan that in advance. What a great place ! Made reservations and we were warmly greeted and seated right away. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We ordered 2 Paloma's that were amazing and made with fresh grapefruit juice. Very delicious and refreshing. We were given chips and salsa ! And I love that the chips were pink. They are colored naturally with beet juice. We ordered the parillada for 2 and it was plenty of food. It came out in an iron skillet with chiles stuffed with cheese, chicken, steak and sausage. All of the meats were amazing ! Perfectly cooked and seasoned. It also included rice and beans. The beans were full of flavor! The good and service was great. Went here last night. Let me just see if you haven't had their guacamole that it was a great hit in my group. It's the second time I've had it at this location and it was amazing. The bartender and our waitress phenomenal. The hostess last night who had long dark hair wore a flower clip, however, almost spoiled the dinner with her rudeness. She didn't want to recognize when we came to be seated and was just overall rude. I don't know if it was because there were two people with me that were disabled or looked different because she was staring at them a lot. I had tacos and they were pretty good. Such a fun spot for a bachelorette celebration with the girls! The pink aesthetic is everywhere and makes it feel extra special, plus there's a great variety of drinks and food to choose from. There are tons of photo-worthy moments throughout, which we loved. They even offered to have a photographer take a group picture--he didn't end up coming back, but it was still a thoughtful touch. The menu is fairly limited but I found a tres leches French toast that sounded interesting and I also got a side of bacon. Food arrived quickly and once I tried the French toast I realized it was not my favorite. I didn't realize there would be milk on the plate which the French toast sat in and got all soggy. Rosa Mexicano is a casual but modern Mexican restaurant inside the Miracle Mile mall. The decor is bright and festive. The restaurant is massive inside with a ton of seats. There's also an outdoor patio area. The menu consists of typical Mexican food options including burritos, tacos, salads, fajitas, and plates. The portions were decent sized. Our food was fresh and tasty. We enjoyed the free chips and salsa but also opted to get the table-side guacamole in which one of the cooks freshly makes the guacamole in front of you! Their prices are a little more expensive but I guess you pay for the "Strip" ambiance. Our server was friendly, prompt, and professional. She checked in periodically and was great able refilling our waters and drinks. The reason I could not give it 5 stars was the hostess was nowhere to be found for over 10 minutes to be seated and my friend had to go get her. The hostess seemed annoyed having to help us and it appears other customers have had the same experience. She also forgot to check me in on the open table app so I got an alert that I did not show up to my reservation. read more

Everything was nicely served in pink plates, with napkins and utensils arranged well. The ambience was really good -- lively and festive. Madison, our server, was amazing -- she was friendly and very attentive. Only disappointment was the parking. I had called ahead and was told parking is free for locals, but we were charged $50. This seems to be an issue with Planet Hollywood, not the restaurant. Overall, great food, friendly service, and nice atmosphere -- just be aware of parking, especially on busy days. read more

The ambiance and overall feel of the restaurant is cool with the pink lights. Unfortunately the food was underwhelming. I got the steak and seafood enchiladas and they were just two small enchiladas with toppings piled on top, to give off that I received more than I did. For the price I definitely expected more. Also got the spicy cucumber margarita and it was pretty good. Nothing special. The server did his job making sure we had enough water and refilling our chips and salsa but was definitely let down by the enchiladas for being small and just "meh" in terms of taste. read more

Enjoyed my birthday dinner at Rosa Mexicano. It's located in Miracle Mile on the strip. We started with chicken nachos which were incredible! We also had their pink chips and salsa. For our mains we had the duck enchiladas, which were just ok. The shrimp quesadillas which were awesome. The fish tacos and plantains, which were good. To drink I had a pomegranate margarita with a sugar rim. So good! They gave me a birthday churros and a cute sombrero to wear for my birthday dessert. They were busy and service was good. One area I don't like is parking. It's $25 to just go to dinner. They should validate or discount a portion of it if you eat there. Otherwise, I enjoyed the visit.
