1st time here. I got the waffle. It was really good. Didn't come with butter and when I tasted it, I didn't feel a need for it. Got the penne alfredo with shrimp. The noodles were al dente. Perfect flavor and well cooked shrimp. Also got a lemon drop, also perfect and didn't have to ask for a sugar rim - the bartender knew. I like the layout, decor, staff and the energy. The DJ was interactive and the people were fun. I'd go again and recommend to others. Just had to remove one star because it was extremely cold. Perhaps, the venue could invest in a blower system at the entrance and/or heaters stationed throughout the place.

Came here for brunch on a Saturday and I loved it! My friends and I decided to sit on the rooftop and it was beautiful. The DJ wasn't Spanish but knew the vibes! Played everything from reggae to soca to Dembow and bachata. The mimosa pitchers definitely kept coming. The food was amazingggggg. After 5p they gave us the option to stay for hookah for $5. So we did. The only con I have is that there's no bathroom on the roof. But quick elevator down

Rosas has been one of my go to places for years. I have been coming here ever since their previous location. I love all the drinks especially the lychee martini. The appetizers are delicious especially the calamari and wings (not pictured) I also love the vibe and music. The rooftop is such a nice escape in the summer. This is an amazing spot for brunch with friends. They hold so many events in the community as well. I also love that it is woman owned. This place is a must if you're in the neighborhood!

Had an amazing time here! The vibes were great and the service was top tier. We went for brunch on a Sunday and had a pretty large party . The staff was very accommodating and we were served quickly and efficiently without the feeling of being rushed. There wasn't a single mistake on anyone's order. The DJ was perfect and everyone enjoyed themselves. The drinks were NOT watered down and the food was tasty. If I lived close I would definitely return.

Saturday Brunch! We were looking for a cute brunch spot close to home and Rosa's came to mind. I came here the first 2 weeks of opening and wasn't impressed. I know there's always a learning curve with new restaurants so I thought I should give them another try. Glad I did! My experience this time was a 10 out of 10. As soon as we arrived we were greeted and seated. The DJ was playing all of the good tunes. My waiter came over shortly after being seated to take our order. My BF and I shared calamari, tostones, chicken chunks, wings, fried cheese and a waffle. EVERYTHING was soooo good. And the espresso martini I had made me fell warm and fuzzy LOL. We really had a great time vibing, singing along to all the tunes and enjoying our meal.

Tik Tok lead me there and glad they did. The "Park" is not the Park Avenue in Manhattan but its fine. Cool spot inside a Wydam hotel property. It was cute and quaint. The service was efficient and good. The food was amazing. No salt and pepper on the table, as it wasn't needed. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Compliments to the self. A pop up was happening on the rooftop and the rooftop was the bomb. Great culinary experience!

The food, drinks, and service are the reason I came back for a second brunch--they're all fantastic. Unfortunately, the way this restaurant handles payment completely overshadowed an otherwise great experience. When it was time to pay, the handheld device was already opened to the gratuity screen, making it seem like I was simply choosing my tip. I selected 18% because I always tip and have no problem taking care of good service. After the total seemed unusually high, I had the receipt sent to my phone and realized they had already added an automatic 20% gratuity to the bill. I had unknowingly tipped an additional 18% on top of that.As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I'm all for gratuity, but this feels incredibly misleading. If you're already adding 20%, the payment device should make that impossible to miss instead of immediately prompting guests to add even more. It honestly felt like I got tricked into double tipping. What's even more frustrating is that there isn't a clear "No Additional Tip" option. Instead, you're presented with percentages as if gratuity hasn't already been included. Whether intentional or not, that's a deceptive payment experience. I'll come back because the food is genuinely great, but this needs to be fixed. No customer should have to inspect their receipt after paying to make sure they weren't charged gratuity twice.

Heyyyyy foodie frennsss. Went to @rosasatpark yesterday with my good sis. This was our second time here. Rosa's is located on the ground floor of a hotel. They are the only restaurant, that I know that has brunch all day, everyday. Their happy hour is from 4-7 pm. But on Mondays and Wednesdays, happy hour is all day. Service was good, our server was Jonas. And he offered some recommendations.Music was mostly r &b. Everyome was jamming. The drink I ordered was the coconut margarita. And my sis had the passion fruit mojito. We both enjoyed. Apps- Guava Thai chili wings, Nachos Entree- Sweet Potato Waffle Sliders and I had the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Burger( Swiss instead of American. We were too stuffed to try dessert. My only qualm is that they charge a service fee (20%) plus gratuities. Have you been? What menu/drink items do you recommend? #foodie #goodeats #nyceats #thebronx #nyc #thebronxeats #foodie #foodiegram #eat #foodiesofinstagram #rosasatpark #happyhour #explore

Hi! First, I would like to say what a beautiful atmosphere you have for a really great brunch. The DJ was spinning all of my favorite hits while the sangria was poured into my (and my husband's) glass. We had a delicious meal of avocado toast, Dominican Benedict, pico de pollo and fries. We enjoyed the sangria and the passion fruit mimosas. Upon being sat, our waiter excitedly told us that it was your fourth year anniversary! Congrats! The vibes were great from the moment we sat down until we entered the rooftop (which our waiter specified we could attend with our children (6yo & 3 mo) before 5:00 PM) Although I suppose it is not traditional to bring your daughters out with you on a day like today, my husband and I do not have family support. He and I raise our children on our own and we pride ourselves in our children being well behaved and fun in these situations. Upon entering the rooftop, we are told children are not allowed. That is fair, as anyone is entitled to run their establishments how they see fit. However, after spending $150 on brunch and looking to continue the party with more friends visiting us, we were unaware of this policy. In fact, the opposite. We were told children were welcome until 5 PM. Arriving upstairs we were told we were allowed in, but we must stand at a high top, regardless of the many empty tables around us. As we were planning on spending more money in your establishment, we decided standing wouldn't work for our family. Unfortunate, considering we are avid hookah smokers and would have loved a few more cocktails with our friends. No signs were hung saying 21+, nor was it listed on your website. This is discriminatory and biased. It certainly puts a damper on any future experiences and any recommendations we may give to our many friends in the local area. Looking forward to a better experience in the future, given we now know the secret rules.

#whereisweekes.....Our host joseph with the most....love him....he made sure you had what you asked for and gave it 100% of service to you. We had a great time. It was our first time for the moms meeting and we chose Rosa's At Park. The music was good, food was good also. I had the shrimp pasta, my son Dejuan had the Oxtails. He said the meat was tough, but tostone n rice was ok. Gigi and her moms had the special salmon, crab cake and something else. They said their food was ok. We also had the Unlimited sangria for 29.99. Our bill came to $290.56. Then we went to the rooftop. It was fine, I was showing momma Duke the atmosphere upstairs. The only thing I didn't like was that they wanted to charge $20 to stay on the rooftop, so we left. We just spent $290 down in the restaurant now you wanted us to spend more money....naw we good. In all we had a good time this was my second time their as you can see in the below pictures.

We went on a Tuesday afternoon for some cocktails and dinner. We enjoyed the karaoke to the fullest. The free shots after were a great touch to the experience. The service was excellent. Joseph our waiter was very professional and on point with our orders. His suggestions were welcomed. The crowd was a mature after work crowd. Great vibes. The wait was a bit for food and drinks because it may have been a heavier than usual taking into consideration it was a holiday the next day. Good time.

Definitely worth trying if you're in the area! It's a bit confusing to find the restaurant at first because it's actually located in the hotel. The restaurant itself is small but had a great ambiance. I came during happy hour and they offered some great deals on drinks. For my entree I ordered the shrimp, chicken, and steak tacos which were all delicious! We also ordered the plantain wontons. Didn't care too much for this. However, our servers were nice and friendly! Overall definitely recommend trying.

Coming in, I was a bit confused cause it's within a building, but this is a really cute little spot in the Bronx!! The bar is a bit small compared to the amount of people who stand around it, but the drinks were good (props to Skye) and the food was decent. I highly recommend their Garlic Shrimp Pasta. It was perfectly al dente although I did had to order extra pepper flakes on the side. They even have a photo booth section and a DJ playing, I guessing cause it was a Friday night? If you need some happy hour fun, I'd say stop by the place. It's not too loud or quiet!

Service: 10/10 The employees were very friendly. They were kind and had a nice smile on their face. That is what customers should be looking for when being approached by waiters or waitresses. They were very helpful with the menu option. Food: 10/10 I started with their hot chocolate with whipped cream. Man! It was delicious. The whipped cream, by the way, is optional. It does not automatically come with the hot chocolate. The texture was just right. I picked a good day to drink hot chocolate. I have also ordered their standard Belgian Waffles with a side of sausage. I have to admit, I was slightly disappointed with the quantity of the waffle. They only give you one. Additionally, you'd have to ask for the butter. Butter does not automatically come with the waffles. The syrup is or at least should already be on the table once you're seated. Even though I only got one waffle, it was delicious. Furthermore, you have the option to add whipped cream to the waffles. They will add the whipped cream to the waffles for you. The same can be applied to pancakes. When all is said and done, they will offer you a blow-pop lollipop. Overall 9.5/10 I will be back. I am unsure if they do reservations. It wouldn't be surprising if they did. Their menu options and pricing were reasonable.

When I requested lemon and an additional brunch menu so my husband and I could each review the options, I learned that only one menu was provided for the table. Since I tend to take my time deciding what to order, having a second menu would have made the process much easier and more enjoyable for both of us. The Sangria Cafe is quite a place and has excellent service. I had my mind set on ordering…read morenonfortified red sangria, but discovered they only have brandy or other liquor infused sangria they make in small batches. You cannot order a fresh carafe or pitcher of sangria with the fruit in it here, which is what I was expecting from a place headlining sangria. So your experience of the Sangria Cafe for sangria will come down to whether you like yours fortified. I like my sangria freshly made to order with just the wine and chopped fruit, but you may have a better experience at Sangria Cafe if you prefer fortified sangria. So the Manager, Elios, was superb. He told me he would let me taste the red, white and lychee versions to see which one I preferred. Given they are all fortified to an extent, I chose to order margaritas. I prefer mezcal margaritas, but they did not have mezcal at the time. So I went with the tequila classic. It was good and I had it to go for my evening at a cigar lounge. I also ordered food to go: the French cut pork chops with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus and the braised beef short rib with small potatoes and broccoli. Here's a twist: the food was better than the adult beverage at a place emphasizing the latter. At all times, my server, Hector, was superb in his own right. Service is probably the strong suit at Sangria Cafe, followed by the food. The French cut pork chops taste like they have been marinated or at least brined. You will eat these down to the bone and you will pick up those bones to clean them. The garlic mashed potatoes were great too, but the asparagus was a bit overcooked. On balance, this $30 dish was satisfying and would have been better had they included a little gravy on the side for the mashed potatoes. The beef short rib at $38 was even tastier. I appreciate the chef took the time to get a good cut of short rib and trimmed the excess fat down to a leaner cut. The meat is inherently marbled with fat, so the flavor is already going to be as present as the savory tenderness. If you dine at a restaurant where there is excess fat on the beef short rib, know the chef there is not putting in the work to trim all that fat. Coudos to the chefs in the Sangria Cafe kitchen for their trimming work. This is even better than the pork chops and you'll savor every bite. The broccoli was overcooked here, so the chefs could restrain themselves on the cooking time for the veggies. The small potatoes were perfect and what is not to like about marbled beef and potatoes. Here they have a little gravy with cooked onions to add to the savory pleasure. The Sangria Cafe is a great place to come with friends. This place will see lots of action as the weather warms. The atmosphere is upbeat and the music is in full swing. This is a Latino and Afro Latino crowd. The kitchen and service are very good here. Perhaps I'm in the minority preferring nonfortified sangria, but I wish that were an option with the chopped fruit in it. Perhaps the majority prefers the fortified hit, but it would be nice to have it more relaxed with just the wine as summer approaches or at any time of the year. Please keep the mezcal in stock as SOP for the mezcal margs. Thanks to Elios, Hector and the chefs in the kitchen. 3.5 stars.
