Having an evening brunch was the kicker it was amazing. $30 bottomless (sangria,momosa, or screwdrivers) and then your entree. It was about $65pp and there was 4 of us. This is more of a 3.5 than a 3 but alas it is not an option. So let's jump right in. As identified by others this place is located within the lobby of a hotel with some outdoor seating options. Definite brunch vibes with a lively DJ playing nothing but hits. It is pretty loud so expect a challenge if you're trying to get to know someone's favorite color or whisper sweet nothings. Not completely impossible but def something to flag. The food was tasty and not a crumb was left! I'd certainly give it another try. Note that there's a 20% service charge automatically added to the bill and they abide by the 90 min seating rule. So you may feel rushed. I went to celebrate my birthday and ordered the chicken stuffed with plantain with a side salad. So this place is amazing let me start with that. I went for brunch after I ran the Bronx 10 miller and we were able to sit at the bar. The bartender was amazing and I had two drinks the Hennessy punch and a coconut mojito. I had the Dominican Benedict as my main course. My only and biggest complaint is the bathroom. Actually all the bathrooms were quite dirty and did not have soap nor toilet paper. I think that is a serious issue and it should be addressed. In their defense I would say it was busy. But everything else was amazing; the music and the picture area. The service was great the bartender was very attentive. The food was delicious and it was enough for me to have leftovers. Everything was cooked perfectly the poached egg, the salami, fried cheese. I really enjoyed the yucca patty which I think really made the dish different than the other Benedict's I have tried. Had a great time with the ladies for brunch. The food was quite good, and the drinks weren't "light " on the alcohol...our server Dallas was polite and attentive. The hostess Isebella was a sweet heart, discerning and vey accommodating for our group. It was "live" for a Sunday brunch...quite the popular spot. I was there for a birthday brunch on Sunday. The place is beautiful. My only 2 complaints are that the Dominican Eggs Benedict the eggs which are always poached for Eggs Benedict were hard boiled, therefore I did not eat the eggs. It would be nice to have it with plain hollandaise sauce too and not the spicy sauce it was served with. Also the separate room for the brunch could have been decorated a little bit, even putting a tablecloth on the table would have been an improvement. The restaurant is underground, so you may lose service, but the server accommodated us with the wifi. We sat down and our service was pretty speedy. We all enjoyed our food. The menu was small but we all found something to amuse our tastebuds. We were a large party and had no issues at all. The restaurant was not crowded so felt like a hidden gem. After a great first visit we returned for another birthday, what a disappointment. Service was TERRIBLE. Surprised since our server seems to be a family member of the management. The menu, a 1" by 1" piece of paper was stained of food was the only access to the menu so when we asked for suggestions or about menu items she made it very obvious with her body language that we needed to figure it out; to confirm she "volunteered" that there was a private party on the rooftop so she the entire lobby to herself. The food was decent but definately underwhelming; the fried fish was a pretty presentation but dry and bland. The chicken and waffles and pork chop where ok. Drinks? We were there 3 hours 1 drink... no one available to order a second drink from, even though we had finished our drinks even before our meals came out. When we finally got her attention to order a second drink as they cleaned our table... she announce your time is up but I will get you a drink... again... attitude to spare... Lastly, it was a birthday dinner and the server was told, but no opportunity to get desert was offered. Simply the bill and an insufficient supply of to go containers and 2 bags, for a party of 5. Lastly my biggest pet peeve, an undisclosed surcharge for using a credit card. It enfuriates me how inconsiderate this is... i'm sure they couldn't put this on the 1"x1" tiny piece of dirty paper that brings up the menu but then the server should mention or it should be printed on the bill. Place is small we were supposed to be a party of 16 but it ended up being 11.They sat us in a room separately from where all the action was lol seemed like a conference room. We had to keep leaving the room to enjoy everything we felt secluded from everything. But anyway many many choices of the bottoms less options. I went with the passion fruit mimosa delicious and was buzzed by drink 3. The food was amazing well i had the burger it was dry and cheap on the cheese lol But all other good was delicious. In true grass walls fashion, this place is awful. Went to brunch with three friends and we ordered off the brunch menu. We also wanted to order appetizers, the caramel complexioned girl with blonde hair said "No." We got the bottomless brunch, but her bottom was nowhere to be found when we needed refills. You would think she would attempt to upsell us to the check would be higher--hence higher tip-- but the only thing high was her attitude. The food was lackluster but we got through the meal nonetheless. Towards the end of the meal, and what we thought would be a final round, this ghost of a waitress appeared to snatch my glass from my hand. I informed her I was almost finished, She said she needed the table but I scanned the room and saw 8 open tables. I told her I would not be rushed and informed two managers of her behavior. They were also incompetent. After paying the check (we also left 20% tip), we decided we would NEVER come back to this place.
