We had a great experience with Rosado Movers. I believe Robert and his wife owns it. I initially spoke with Robert regarding moving us. He informed me that his family owns the business and they provide trained and insured workers to move our stuff. Robert came across as a hardworking honest person. His wife helped us schedule the move and sign the moving agreement. We had to reschedule our move a couple of times. Robert and his wife worked with us to reschedule the move according to our and their availability. On moving day, the movers showed up on time. All of them were very polite and knew what they were doing. We pretty much got out of the way after showing them where all the stuff was. They were gentle with our stuff and knew how to move everything. They even disassembled our beds before loading them in the truck and put them back together after the move. Long story short I had an appointment with Trusted Movers to move me on 3/28. The 3 movers showed up at 7:28am and even started loading the truck...then things got real interesting. Out of nowhere the movers unloaded the truck packed up their equipment and told me their manager would call me and left to go sit in their truck. The manager said his guys dont feel "safe" because of the coronavirus and has the right to refuse to do the job. After speaking with the manager, the movers drove off. Its important to note i am Asian. Theres more to this, but this post/review isnt about Trusted Mover its about Robert and his team at Rosado Movers. So my wife, 17 month old, and I were stuck at home in the rain with a mountain of boxes. I started scrambling and searched on Yelp calling every moving company in my area. I call Rosado Movers and Robert the owner calls me back. I explained to Robert what had just happened to me and he showed great empathy and was willing to help me out. Robert was transparent about the pricing and in a matter of seconds we verbally agreed to having Rosado Movers move us. Robert even went out of his way to come by my place to take a look to give me a more accurate quote to move out of my 2/2.5 TH. He said he would send 4 guys and a truck and the job would take about 4 hours. 2 hours to load and another 2 hours to unload. After the walk through, Robert says he'll be in touch to keep me updated on an ETA. I have text messages to prove it. The movers show up and immediately gets to work. Siale, Quinton, Pita, and Anthony were quick, careful, and professional as can be. Like Robert said 2 hours on the dot. Then another 2 hours unloading in my new place. They set up the bed/mattress and other big item furnitures. They really did an awesome job. I'm almost done unpacking and I have yet to come across any damages. I'm usually not the type to write a review but am compelled by the excellent service offered by Robert and the team at Rosado Movers. In particular Igor, Rafael, Soa and Pita worked extremely hard despite some added challenges with extra heavy furniture and tricky disassembly. They treated our antiques really carefully and took care when coming and going from the house. On top of all that, I had a health issue come up in the family and called 4 days before the move to see if there was any chance to pull the move forward a couple of days. I just used CAL Movers this past weekend, when my fiance, daughter and I moved from an apartment into a house. The distance is only a few blocks away (Sunnyvale) but we also needed to pick up items from his parent's house over in Saratoga. Robert was great on the phone estimating what we'd pay and working with our schedule. We had called 4 different places and his rates were the most reasonable for what we had. Robert sent over 3 movers and they met my fiance at his parent's place first and loaded his stuff in about 10-15 minutes. They were ahead of schedule but it worked out great for me. They then met us at my old apt and loaded everything we needed in a good amount of time. The movers were polite, worked fast, I don't even think they took a break?? Nothing was broken. They even found a person onsite at the apt. complex to take my entertainment center that I was looking to offload. I had asked them if any of them wanted it for free. Next thing I know they came back and said they found someone onsite who would take it. I really appreciated the proactivness, and it helped me! Next we got to our new place and they quickly unloaded stuff. They pointed out things I needed to know, like when I said, please put that here, they pointed out that it would work better this way and they were totally right. At the end of the day (about 3 hours - we had alot of stuff) they happily took an old stepper and two old chest of drawers off my hands to dump. Again, big help to me because I really didn't want to deal with it! All in all it was a good experience and I wouldn't hesitate to contact them again. read more

We've moved twice in the last 12 months. While I don't recommend moving that often, I DO recommend Rosado Movers. They moved us both times and we were very happy both moves. Each time we had a team of 4 guys who helped get everything out and onto the truck. We really appreciated the care that they took with our furniture. Nothing was broken, bumped or scratched. I recently moved from Sunnyvale to Santa Clara. The quote was done through yelp, and the final contract was emailed to me. The movers showed up with the truck right on time on the day of the move. They were very efficient, and got the move done in the 3 hour minimum that was quoted. I was very impressed with their professionalism and efficiency. The only glitch was that I was initially charged for drive time, but when I told them that the contract did not include that, it was adjusted. She offered me a deal with more (total of 4) movers for less than the hourly rate of competitors whom I also requested quotes from. The day of the move, they arrived early with an extra mover (5 total). Although 8am was their scheduled start time, by 8:05 they had all 20+ boxes out the door. We used rosado movers when we moved cross-country, so we used online reviews to decide to book with them when we arrived to California. We had them meet us at our pod storage, and they were on time. They noticed some of our items broke during the move (our fault packing the pod) and let us know they can box for us next time. They unloaded the pod, loaded their truck, drove to our home, unloaded all in 4 hours. They accidentally charged us for their return trip and they refunded us once we reached out to the office. They were helpful and said we would get a discount if we use them again. We will move again in July so they will be hearing from us soon. Nice family run business. read more

My husband and I were in a pretty unique situation where we had been staying in my Aunt's condo for a few years, but she needed to move back and needed to move back FAST (like yesterday). Normally, we would do the packing ourselves, rent a u-haul, buy some beer and pizza and enlist some friends to help us. However, given the time frame and the circumstances, I decided to hire Rosado Movers to do both the packing and moving. We closed on our new place on Wednesday, and the packers were scheduled for Friday and movers on Saturday. Let me tell you, if we did that all ourselves, it would have taken us at least 4-5 times the amount of time it took the pros. They even unmounted and packed my husband's prized possession (75-inch TV) with ease. They were very efficient, careful and professional. This move was one of the most stressful situations we have been in, but hiring Rosado lifted some of that stress knowing that we were in good hands. We are so happy that we chose Rosado Movers for our move (which was a local move from one home to another within Palo Alto). We were moving out of a home where we had lived for 20 years, so we had a lot of stuff built up! The Rosado team was right on time and immediately got to work. Every member of the crew was friendly and helpful. Not only did they do a great job moving our furniture, they also helped clean out an overgrown-with-ivy tool shed and a very dusty storage room. They also disassembled and removed an old gazebo, and cleared out a lot of other old junk. They also went above and beyond to help us with other items that we needed to get out of the house and into the front yard. When they delivered our belongings to our new house, they laid down protective floor coverings and asked if we wanted them to use shoe covers as well. Highly recommend this family-run company! Brianne is the best at communicating over email prior to your move. The movers arrived on time and took care to wrap all my furniture with care. They did a great job with the move despite my new place being on a 3rd floor walk-up and rainy!
